Eh, I'm not planning on buying blops 6 at launch, so the buffed mw2 guns give me something to try out for a bit longer in this game since I didn't play MW2022 all that much because I hated the perk system in it.

I've only been asking for this since November 10th 2023. Still waiting, or how about the stocks that give you 1% recoil reduction but the MWIII assault rifles get stocks that give 25%+ reductions on a gun that is made for MWIII and has less recoil, visual recoil and smoke than any MWII gun. Make it make sense. 🤔🤷♂️

The buff to the MWII weapons are great, but what they really should do is reduce the heavy penalties on the MWII attachments such as suppressors/muzzles, barrels, etc.
I can't stand that they never reworked the MWII weapons and attachments. No matter how much I want to use them, I feel like I'm at a disadvantage. They can try all they want to buff MWII weapons, but because they never reworked the attachment penalties, handling and movement speeds, they will always feel completely different and from MWIII guns.
Yip, was disappointed on launch night and it's never changed, the penalties and smoke and visual recoil, just never made them viable in comparison. A wasted opportunity for the first game in 20yrs of COD to carry all previous games guns forward to the next.
I use AK74u as my "SMG", but it wasn't that great in MWIII UNTIL the quartermaster silencer was released. Kind of sucks I had to wait that long to use it now, but it's working fine now.
theyve had more power than mw3 weaopons for awhile, alot of their damage profiles were more consistent than mw3 weapons especially at certain ranges (e.g lachman sub always being 5 shots relatively even though the range didnt reach farther than 13m)

I had to resort to using a 2.5 optic scope because I'm like "where the f are the bullets going"? I have to see how I "missed" my shots. Anyway, I got used to it and doing fine them. As for the visual smoke.. I noticed it in the test range and realized it's a bug.
The ISO 9mm's always been a bit of a sleeper thanks to its controllability and accuracy even though its TTK wasn't exactly good, and now it's a bit of a mini STG44 with that extra range and faster TTK at long range. The BAS-P also feels great and may even go meta.
The only problem remaining is attachments. Most of the MW2 attachments are completely obsolete. Like literally obsolete with how they penalize your handling/movement and even recoil lol. That needs to be taken care of before season 6 ends.
Even if they don't do this I'm not gonna be upset with SH. Regardless of what people think, it is hard to deny that Sledgehammer has absolutely crushed it with this game in so many ways. And while getting rid of pointless MW2 attachments and reducing barrel/mag penalties on them would be nice, I can't say I would make fixing another company's shit show a priority at all in SH's shoes.

So far, I like the buffs to the FTAC Recon because it's secretly one of the fastest killing guns in the game in full auto, with many hindrances included, such as a 15 round magazine.
Idk if it's a bug but the EMD Grenade is very OP right now the radius explosion is much bigger and each time it tags a enemy, it turns into a advanced UAV.
The MW2 buffs are nice but like others have said, I REALLY wish at least the barrels and magazine penalties could have been reworked for them. This is CoD so a range barrel should not give you 50-60% ads speed penalties and bullets do not weigh fifteen pounds each so you shouldn't have such hefty movement penalties with 10-15 extra rounds. Also, Ace did not include this (maybe because it wasn't in the patch notes) but the Akimbo Reclaimers' fire rate was corrected. They have a great fire rate now, and are much more solid because of it
Me and u bro - except all I need to grind orion is the two new guns. In this next year, since I"m not buying what BO6 is selling, I'll probably play some XD from time to time. But MW3 is in a pretty good place overall, if they just keep the playlists & modes decent.

In my opinion, here's some buffs I'd add: -The m4 should have the potential to 4 shot kill if 2 shots hit the head instead of 3, that would make it more of a "jack of all trades" gun as the description of it says -The m13c should have a small damage range maybe up to 7.5 metres where it can 4 shot kill if the shots hit the torso -The iso hemlock should have a slight fire rate buff to bump it up to a ttk of 280 m/s instead of 300 at a cost of slightly more recoil and less damage range this would make it more unique compared to the kastov 762 - Taq 56 should have a damage range up to 8 metres where it can 4 shot or it should have a faster firerate to bump its trk up to maybe 300 m/s - Taq v should have either a slight fire rate buff or a headshot buff where 2 shots could give a 3 shot kill - Kastov 74u should have an increase to its 4 shot kill range -Kastov 545 should have a 4 shot kill range -lachman 762 should have a better full auto fire rate buff (ngl the lachman 762 reminds me a lot of the C58 so having its ttk buffed would be nice) -Lachman sub should definitely have a fire rate buff to bump its ttk up to 280 m/s (although the conversion kit for the lachman shroud is better the lachman sub is still more mp5 like) - MX9 should have a damage range of 4.5 metres where it kills in 4 shots (seems a fair range since you can decrease the ttk with 1 headshot) -Vaznev 9k definitely either needs a fire rate buff or a range where it can 4 shot, i mean, there's no point into using that garbage - Fss hurricane deserves a fire rate buff or a small damage range where it 4 shot kills plus a buff to the head multiplier where in the 5 shot kill damage range it can 4 shot This is about it. I think you forgot something. The Jak devastator for the redeemer 12 actually got a noticeable buff unless this was unintended. The delay it had in each shot is completely removed from it.
they just fire at the rate that they were initially shown to have in the announcement trailer for the AMP. I knew there was no way that the delay was intended, bc it just did not make sense to make them bad in EVERY way without touching the akimbo Lockwoods/1887s
@@theshankpain2228 This was a different studio than MW2, that was IW who actually know what a shotgun is and as a result, the shotguns in MW2 (the new one) were without a doubt the best shotguns of any CoD game. Nothing in the whole series beats the Bryson 800 imo and it's not even close.

I'm very happy about the ftec recon, since it's last buff I've been using it and the initial kick was always the biggest killer, but now that it has less of a kick I think it's boutta be even more dominant
For Black Ops 6, it might be worth making it so the colours for the shots to kill are a gradient, for example it starts at red then slowly changes to yellow then green. Makes it a bit more intuitive.
pretty good job. MW2 guns need a buff, testing a lot of them felt like needed 3 or 4 extra bullets compared to the MW3 contemporaries. I do wish they touched the Mw2 shotguns but oh well.
The JAK Devastators AMP for the Reclaimer 18 secretly had their fire rate massively buffed to match the base gun's semi-auto fire rate. Looks like it might be a little too powerful now lol, though I assume it's unintentional.
@@delusional1423 Yeah I noticed players not showing up a few weeks ago so have kept an eye out as it's happened a lot since then and every single one of them is using the Assassin vest. Gives them a giant advantage as I'm running around with my eyes glued to the mini map when I have an advanced up, obviously.
@@delusional1423 it's probably cost me one or two but have generally been ok as not a huge amount of players use that vest in my lobbies. Just very noticeable when they do as you'll have experienced when you get zinged by someone not on your map. It must be a bug, but I'm concerned it won't be addressed.
I was hoping the LMG and BR buffs would be a bit more exciting. I do still wonder if it's worth running a flinch setup on the M13C - hard to judge when you can't see the effect.
I hated last season mainly because of that. While, though the main playlist wasnt filled with them as much, it was a nightmare in the small map moshpit. You couldn't go a match without at least 3 or 4 people from the enemy team using the static or superi. Last season was one of the seasons to where I felt like for the first time I was brute forced by the meta. Literally couldnt use no other smgs if I really wanted to compete.
A ton of buffs for MWII guns, but nothing on their shotguns. Most of those shotguns are worthless outside of pointblank range, and the barrel attachments slow everything down to a crawl (and still don't help the 1-shot kill range much at all). It was painful trying to grind out some mastery camo kill challenges with those shotguns, far inferior to most MWIII shotguns (MX Guardian was good with Semi-Auto Trigger, but good heavens that barrel slows it down WAY too much).
Much love to SHG 🎉 I loved what they did with Vanguard despite the wrong setting (WWII) but now they absolutely killed it this year - can’t wait for what’s next!
Was hoping they'd buff the AKs a little more. The AK 5.45, 7.62 should have a 4 shot kill potential. They're still great weapons to use though as I've been having a blast with them just like in MWII. Surprised the AN94 isn't getting any nerfs.. it's my meta weapon.
Please can you do a "wrap up" video at the end of MW3 life cicle showing ranges and TTKs for, at least, SMGs, ARs and MGs?? Showing so the final state of the game! It would be great!! 😅

I found the M13C to be obnoxius unless kitted for recoil, and even then it's overshaddowed. At least it has the death icon removal effect from the blackout ammo

the Victus XMR still cannot one shot people in the shoulders or arms and it's like the 3rd slowest sniper in the game. While the KVD Inhibitor can one shot in the arms😭
Been begging SHG on Twitter to buff the Victus XMR and make it one shot anywhere on the body since season 2 but still nothing.. a heavy 50 cal sniper with the slowest rechambering speed in the game shouldn’t be a hit marker machine.
To me the nerf really sucks because I like to play 6 vs 6 against the bots at 130 health, and what was really insane about the STG44 pre nerf is that it was a 3 shot kill at 130 health. Now it's a 4 shot kill at 130 health which actually puts it at a disadvantage when you have guns like a MTZ-556, or MCW that can kill in 4 shots at 130 health and have much higher RoF.
Can we get a comparison between the (updated) Basilisk and the MW3 revolver by default, with the attatchment, in akimbo because that does change their stats, and also with snakeshot equipped?
I wish my gun levels transferred when I switched from battlenet to steam on the same Activision account. I had every MWII gun max level and now they’re all level 0 without the camos I unlocked. I can’t be the only one with this problem. The only reason I wanted to play this update is not there unless this is fixed somehow.
I will still hold on to and hope thay buff the impact point barrel and stocks for the x13 auto sidearm to make it a little more manageable with the side to side bounce if thay do something for that side to side it would be so much better
Maybe im tripping, but i feel like they reduced the visual recoil of the M4 a little bit. As a sidenote, they really have to get rid of those massive penalties on the MW2 attachments. No way in hell i use a barrel that gives me a 40% ADS nerf.

I think it’s because they were balanced around weapon tuning, you could take care of that part of the attachment in mw2 but not in 3

Hey they buffed M14 EBR! So now up-close its 2-shots to kill without the need for headshot. How generous of them.
The M13C has a higher headshot multiplier in single shot. One to the head and at least two to the torso for a 3-shot kill.

I'm very happy about the ftec recon, since it's last buff I've been using it and the initial kick was always the biggest killer, but now that it has less of a kick I think it's boutta be even more dominant

For Black Ops 6, it might be worth making it so the colours for the shots to kill are a gradient, for example it starts at red then slowly changes to yellow then green. Makes it a bit more intuitive.

MW2 guns need a buff, testing a lot of them felt like needed 3 or 4 extra bullets compared to the MW3 contemporaries. I do wish they touched the Mw2 shotguns but oh well.

The JAK Devastators AMP for the Reclaimer 18 secretly had their fire rate massively buffed to match the base gun's semi-auto fire rate. Looks like it might be a little too powerful now lol, though I assume it's unintentional.

@@delusional1423 Yeah I noticed players not showing up a few weeks ago so have kept an eye out as it's happened a lot since then and every single one of them is using the Assassin vest. Gives them a giant advantage as I'm running around with my eyes glued to the mini map when I have an advanced up, obviously.

@@delusional1423 it's probably cost me one or two but have generally been ok as not a huge amount of players use that vest in my lobbies. Just very noticeable when they do as you'll have experienced when you get zinged by someone not on your map. It must be a bug, but I'm concerned it won't be addressed.
I was hoping the LMG and BR buffs would be a bit more exciting.
I do still wonder if it's worth running a flinch setup on the M13C - hard to judge when you can't see the effect.

Static HV looks still pretty good. Might need a new go-to, tho.
I hated last season mainly because of that. While, though the main playlist wasnt filled with them as much, it was a nightmare in the small map moshpit. You couldn't go a match without at least 3 or 4 people from the enemy team using the static or superi. Last season was one of the seasons to where I felt like for the first time I was brute forced by the meta. Literally couldnt use no other smgs if I really wanted to compete.

A ton of buffs for MWII guns, but nothing on their shotguns. Most of those shotguns are worthless outside of pointblank range, and the barrel attachments slow everything down to a crawl (and still don't help the 1-shot kill range much at all). It was painful trying to grind out some mastery camo kill challenges with those shotguns, far inferior to most MWIII shotguns (MX Guardian was good with Semi-Auto Trigger, but good heavens that barrel slows it down WAY too much).
Much love to SHG 🎉 I loved what they did with Vanguard despite the wrong setting (WWII) but now they absolutely killed it this year - can’t wait for what’s next!

they need to buff the frickiong MW2 barrel attachments... they give like +15% range but add a whopping 45% ADS time
I knew they did something to all those weapons. The difference is massive. MWII guns are now usable and STG feels a little more spongey.
The spr-208 could use lil more buff to it but by side that they kinda needs be buff to keep up
Was hoping they'd buff the AKs a little more. The AK 5.45, 7.62 should have a 4 shot kill potential. They're still great weapons to use though as I've been having a blast with them just like in MWII. Surprised the AN94 isn't getting any nerfs.. it's my meta weapon.
Please can you do a "wrap up" video at the end of MW3 life cicle showing ranges and TTKs for, at least, SMGs, ARs and MGs?? Showing so the final state of the game! It would be great!! 😅

I found the M13C to be obnoxius unless kitted for recoil, and even then it's overshaddowed. At least it has the death icon removal effect from the blackout ammo

the Victus XMR still cannot one shot people in the shoulders or arms and it's like the 3rd slowest sniper in the game. While the KVD Inhibitor can one shot in the arms😭
Been begging SHG on Twitter to buff the Victus XMR and make it one shot anywhere on the body since season 2 but still nothing.. a heavy 50 cal sniper with the slowest rechambering speed in the game shouldn’t be a hit marker machine.

To me the nerf really sucks because I like to play 6 vs 6 against the bots at 130 health, and what was really insane about the STG44 pre nerf is that it was a 3 shot kill at 130 health. Now it's a 4 shot kill at 130 health which actually puts it at a disadvantage when you have guns like a MTZ-556, or MCW that can kill in 4 shots at 130 health and have much higher RoF.
Are these adjustments the same across warzone n multiplayer?

I wish my gun levels transferred when I switched from battlenet to steam on the same Activision account. I had every MWII gun max level and now they’re all level 0 without the camos I unlocked. I can’t be the only one with this problem. The only reason I wanted to play this update is not there unless this is fixed somehow.

I will still hold on to and hope thay buff the impact point barrel and stocks for the x13 auto sidearm to make it a little more manageable with the side to side bounce if thay do something for that side to side it would be so much better

Maybe im tripping, but i feel like they reduced the visual recoil of the M4 a little bit. As a sidenote, they really have to get rid of those massive penalties on the MW2 attachments. No way in hell i use a barrel that gives me a 40% ADS nerf.
