0:53 "your body continues to change" and ashton just fucking glitches from this dimension for a second i-
Boy-
I mean glitching into the dark dimension is a sort of bodily change ig
it happens lmao
@@graveyardpansy YASSSS
One nipple for some reason looks so cool. It's like an eye patch, instead of two identical things, there's one missing. One nipple = eye patch = cool.
They have a pirate chest! ☠
@@user-ru4ip2pr1j HOLY SHIT THIS IS BRILLIANT
@@user-ru4ip2pr1j LMAOOO
11:22 when you said that the surgeon will cut down and reshape the nipple however you want, I JUST REALIZED THAT I COULD IN THEORY HAVE STAR SHAPED OR HEART SHAPED NIPS AFTER SURGERY!!
STAR NIPPLES
that’s it. I’m convinced. I’m getting star shaped nipple grafts
IM GONNA FUCKING GET HEART NIPPLES IM SO EXCITED
Oh no. Why did you give me that idea… The possibilities are overwhelming me ahah
I just recently got top surgery and did not get star shaped nipples, but I so want to see someone do that, it would be awesome
I can't decide if having one nipple or having a heart-shaped nipple sounds cooler! Definitely a rad aesthetic either way. Thanks for sharing your journey
Hi
What about both? One heart-shaped nipple?
You’re epic 😎😎
hi Milo!😁
Hearing someone with a bigger chest talk about getting top surgery, having complications, loving their body and scars and complications, and bodies changing and growing really helps me feel a little better about top surgery :)
if you're seeing this comment, the captions are currently syncing! they should be available soon
Thank you so much for captioning! It really means a lot!!
Seeing you so... calm (and other things) about your complications make me feel a lot better about the future surgeries I'll get to transition. I'm absolutely terrified of any surgery, so you're helping a lot actually :3
Your chest looks fantastic! I agree regarding the scar placement, they frame everything very nicely.
Your freckles and rosy cheeks next to the dark hair and badass eyeliner 🤩🤩🤩
this video gives me so much hope and euphoria!! your chest looks so cool and i really can't wait to start medical transition!
honestly, just hearing someone talk about swimming without a chest makes me wanna get top-surgery
i've always contemplated whether i wanted nipples after top surgery or not and while obviously there's a lot of pros and cons i thought about... being able to say i have no nipples as a fun fact was probably the deciding thing lol
You can also get fake silicone nipples to glue on
Do you still have any habits from when you were healing/pre-op? Things like, hunching over when wearing certain clothing to get that No Tiddy™ or anything similar if you had any habits that is ?
I just found this channel today and I gotta say its really refreshing to see a creator with such a down to earth perspective on these topics. You're awesome, thank you
this is kind of random, but frankenstein is one of my favorite books and one way i prepare myself for any outcomes from surgery is reminding myself that any scars i acquire will just make me look more like the creature from the book, and he looks pretty badass lmao
Frankenstein is a favourite of mine too!! it’s been a while, I need to reread it soon. but that’s a great way of looking at it :)
yes!!! i like this idea as well :)
I'm 3 weeks post-op and have had some complications where an abscess is starting to form under my right incision. This video really helped a lot for me to prepare for complications beforehand and to trust that, after it is healed, I will have a chest that I love, scars and all. It's been painful and disappointing but I'm trusting the process, that this is a temporary roadblock in my journey of self-actualization.
im crying right now. im so excited for the day i get top surgery
The staple scars remind me of braille in the coolest way 👍😊
Have you made a video about the process you underwent to get top surgery? I’m just curious about how or where I could start
I can’t believe it’s been 3 years. Amazing
Thank you for this. It is so nice to see results that aren't "perfect" whatever that means, and from a body that isn't super fit or just a naturally skinny person. I'm also 5'4/5'5, and I am well over 200lbs, and I know I'm not going to look like the majority of "mainstream" trans youtubers who get top surgery. It definitely makes me feel like I should document my top surgery for all the fat bois/enbys like me. ☺️ So thank you for that confidence
congrats on 3 years!!!
I'm a new subscriber, I've been binging your channel recently. As you've progressed you've been looking more and more like a fucking rockstar and I am living for it.
I'm so happy for you!!!!!
I can't wait till I can get top surgery.
I'm 23 in march and I'm hoping to come out soon.
There's nothing wrong with being lopsided.
so happy for you :) i can’t wait until the day i’m 18 and i’ll hopefully be able to afford top surgery for myself
same
i had the different top surgery (as in implants) but i never knew that drains play such a vital role and are installed separately to the incision. i had mine in for a couple days inside my incision (if that makes sense) and don't have extra scars bc of them.
obviously removing tissue is a lot more impactful and stressful for the body, so it makes sense that drains would be kept in longer.
ALSO! i really want to get my nipples cut to look like hearts or get hearts tattooed around them. i haven't yet found the right doctor for me tho but it's lovely to see fellow minded people on that. :)
ALSO²! gender euphoria or body euphoria (or just general happiness idk) is a wonderful freeing feeling and i am so glad that your surgery helped you with that. :)
x
this videos helps make me feel less nervous abt physical transition and surgeries! commenting this for da algorithm cuz this video is cool. also having only one nipple is epic, and getting a heart tatoo for it??? awesome
Congrats on 3 years! This video made me realize just how different individual surgeons go about it. I'm in Canada and had the choice of two surgeons based on how close they were to where I live, and I went with the one that follow up appointments with wouldn't involve 4 hours of driving. My surgeon didn't use staples (he only used a few anchor stitches and surgical tape and I was not allowed to touch the tape until he removed it a week later, and by then the skin was already closing up and fusing together again). He also doesn't use drains at all, so I didn't need them and never had to deal with whatever hassle they entail. I thought that was down to personal preference for him, but it seems really uncommon now that I've been able to speak with a lot more trans friends about their top surgeries. This is all very neat and interesting to think about!
I need this representation,
the attitude towards your/their body being valued for you/him, because you/he loves it because it’s what you/they want and not how others perceive its value for whatever reason(s) they have
Ashton know you are amazing for all that you do with this platform 💜✨🏳️🌈
i really appreciate how positive you are about your results despite them not being ideal. it definitely puts me at ease about getting surgery if I decide on it :)
Kinda unrelated but this is the first video I’ve watched from you and I absolutely love your aesthetic!
Woah and I’m 5’4 and used to have like D cups too so I totally get not being able to be completely flat (2 months post op!)
It looks soooo good!!
Congrats
It’s also my birthday 🥳
!!!!! Happy birthday!
@@bearhugsleafbugs thanks 😊💙
@Joseph A. thank you :)
happy birthday !!
aw, hbd!! have a great day (or evening, if your day is over!) 💖
Oh my gosh heart shaped nipple is the most adorably badass I've ever heard!
ay congrats! so happy for u
honestly thank you so much for talking about your complications and your acceptance of your body. as an ex-truscum ive had to slowly come to terms with my trans identity and my body and let myself know that how i want to transition how my body ends up is okay and valid. i wish there was more body positivity in the trans community in terms of transition and expanding what the definition is of a trans body. i feel like i would be much father along in my journey to self acceptance if that was the case
i am in LOVE with your ear jewelry in this vid
I hate how many disclaimers you have to put D: seeing your confidence and love for your body should be enough for people. It makes me feel good to see how confident you are :D You look awesome!
I love the confidence radiating off this video 👌👌👌
I love your makeup today! you look amazing! have a great day
3 years, omg!!! congratulations, Ashton❤️❤️ hope you're having a good holiday! xxx (btw, love your choker and your makeup!)
It looks great! Congrats on 3 years!
I love how positive you are about your experiense with the surgery!
Your chest looks so amazing!! Makes me so excited for surgery
seeing you so happy makes me happy :)
ayo congrats on 3 years !
Thank you for posting all of this. I am very fearful for my upcoming surgery in a month, and seeing different experiences is so comforting.
Your chest looks amazing! The scars healed so well.
Omg 3 years already wow looking great Ashton hope your safe and well hope you as we all do have a better 2021
god time is mind boggling??? i can't believe i've been following this channel for over four years now??? which means i've been questioning my gender for that long and just in the last month came to be comfortable with nonbinary labels... anyway shout out to sixth grade me for finding ashtons channel, and to him for letting me grow with them :)
aww 6th grade was around the time I realized something was up hah
i love how your ok with your body
I love your bookshelf!
hey ashton! rewatching all of your top surgery videos now that I'm getting top surgery on Tuesday!
I’m getting top surgery in January and this video makes me even more excited (and less scared) for it. I’ve been following you for quite a while and your chest has healed so nicely after all it’s been through! Thank you for your chill vibes and openness in your updates :)
Wow, you've really come a long way, Ashton!! :O
dude yess i just got top a few months ago and i got stretch marks (and i love them) but i was confused like why i never heard ppl talking about it??? its really important to normalize this kinda stuff!
Super happy for you on getting your top surgery! I'm hoping to get it too but with finances it's probably a long way away
Is that mac from iasip in your pfp? I started watching the show when I was questioning if I needed to medically transition and somehow he made my mind up. Idk how, I guess my brain just likes the way he looks lol
@@bandamani thank you!! aw i'm rooting for you! yes it is haha. oh i totally get that, honestly he's my transition goals
i just saw a video of yours from 4 years ago and you look so different and so cool and i love your entire vibe and voice and everything
YOUR TOP SURGERY RESULTS LOOK EPIC
lol ashton just subtly tries to say, 'look, i used to have massive big badonking honka honka bloobies, but we're passed that now'
CJXNSB I WAS TRYING TO BE MORE SUBTLE THAN THAT LMAO
The mullet looks awesome!!!!!
It’s really cool having been able to see how your chest has settled onto your body, for lack of a better word. Can’t believe it’s been three years. Take care Ashton!!
Thank you for making top surgery less scary ❤
I have my top surgery consultation in less than a month! This video was really comforting for me. Seeing someone who has had pretty intense complications be happy and comfortable with their results (which I also think look amazing for what your chest has been through!) is really really reassuring. Even if I end up with complications, I can still find comfort and joy in taking ownership of my body.
Your top surgery results look great 😊
I came here from the stim video from 3 years ago and I’m pleasantly surprised :D
It's stange seeing how much Ashton has changed
i want my scars to look like yours :] ive been watching you for so long i remember when u got ur revision. i love seeing the change, it helps me know what i can look forward to in the future
scar shape/position is def smth you can talk to your surgeon about !! i hope it all turns out well for you :)
This video came out at such a good time! I had top surgery two days ago and i'm so happy :))
congrats!!! i hope healing is quick and easy 💜
You look great!
im two years late to the party but watching as a transmasc teen gives me so much hope for my future and that top surgery is a thing that i can achieve one day. thank you
I've had chest scars my whole life, your scars are absolutely beautiful.
ok but i literally love how ashton's chest looks
maybe its not what people would call "perfect" but i lowkey think it looks cool af
fuck, i love swimming shirtless, it's just so amazing!!
Also I love your style :)
This video actually helped me reframe how I feel about my body asymmetry (scoliosis). Thanks :)
I had keyhole, so it’s always interesting to see people talk about their experience with double incision. You inspired me to try out the q-tip test on my own chest and figure out which areas are most numb, haha
I can't wait for my top surgery I have to deal with binding a triple D chest and it is very painful to bind for me so I never go out or do anything and cant even work out much without extreme dysphoria. I'm just so excited to start living and this gives me so much hope. I'm so glad you're happy with your body :) I hope I can start accepting myself soon too
I'm about 2 months out from top surgery and I genuinely want to thank you. I had complications with my surgery where one nipple was perfect and I lost 90% of the other one. My left one struggled and had a thick piece of dead tissue on top that led to the graft not taking well and now I have a bit of a slanted oval with a tiny bit of 3D definition - what little of the graft that actually took.
I wanted to thank you because although you don't know me, some of the videos I've seen of you where you love your body has helped me with my own self perception. I would have preferred having them both looking good but I would never regret my decision overall.
I have been so happy to wear shirts with no binder (in time for summer). It has been a life saver. Also the scars have healed amazingly thanks to my fiancé who has been helping me every step of the way.
I'm also happy for you and your own progress.
Your surgeon must be so grateful to have had you as a patient
WAIT WHAT YOU GOT YOUR TOP SURGERY ON MY BIRTHDAY OH MY GOOOOOD IDK WHY BUT I'M SO HAPPY 😭😭😭
also this is making me excited for my nebulous plans of one day getting top surgery... i want 0 nipples and you're right, that is epic. and i stopped swimming once my chest dysphoria got really prominent so while i would not want to be shirtless i just cannot feel ok in any swimsuit with my current chest and i totally forgot that top surgery might let me stop hating swimming
thank you for this video, I learned a lot! 1. how much younger you are than me (entirely unimportant but my brain was Shocked) 2. there are types of drains 3. i too have chest stretch marks
I'm hoping to get top surgery in the next year or so, and watching your videos have helped me a lot. I'm probably not going to keep my nipples after, because I want to get a full chest tattoo, but I've had trouble finding anyone talk about their experience getting top surgery and not keeping their nipples. Do you know of any videos or articles that would help me know what to expect? Any advice or recourses would be really helpful!
Do you know the subreddit r/freedthenips? It’s about top surgery without nipple grafts and has a lot of information and result pics.
Also I too want top surgery without nipple grafts and I too wish there was more info about it.
On the gender confirmation centers Instagram they have some results with no nipples!
@@Doglover-gh9ut thank you! I’ll have to check that out
I'm getting no nipples I didnt know it was an option till I went to my pre op and I was so excited it was an option because my nipples make me so uncomfortable
This was really informative - I didn't know that a complication like that was possible with buttonhole surgery
i`m so grateful for your video!!! it's so liberating and important to me to see these topics talked about from a non-binary perspective. i have a lot of fears surrounding top surgery and seeing how happy you are with your not traditionally perfect chest gives me some optimism!
ive suffered from nerve damage before (lost feeling in half of my hand for a couple months), which seems tangential to the nipple sensation thing, and nerves do, in fact, take their sweet time! it makes sense that not all people with top surgery, which i imagine causes some form of nerve damage (at least in some contexts?), will regain feeling, but i think its totally realistic that it could happen for some people eventually. i was lucky enough that my nerves were only "bruised" essentially, but again, surgery seems more... cutty, so although i think things could eventually heal, it would definitely take a lot longer either way. regardless, im really happy youre happy with your results!! your chest looks amazing!!
Do you still like fidget toys and stim toys
omg I saw an r/ftm post of someone who got heart nip tats, and I've been wanting them since! Same brain!
This means 4 years today!
You do not look like a mess, ur hair looks good :))
Your scars elevate your hotness, not hold it back. You are like the one nipple angel like Sephiroth is the one winged angel. My body is covered in scars from parkour. I try very hard not to collect more (I practice injury reduction/damage reduction) but I love the collection I have. Take the scars away and so go all of the lessons learned that make me a parkour beast. My scars are very validating, it's a visual record and display of my commitment to my craft.
Thanks
Wow! I had no idea you’re 19! You are so well spoken and mature and wow cool
Can you please do a video about all the books on your bookshelf sometime? They look interesting
You look great, getting chest hair too! :)
Aaaaa it looks amazing ❤️ I’ll be one year post op in January 😊
that’s awesome, congrats !!
As a suggestion in prep for getting your nipple tattoo, since you've got scar tissue there what you can do to help heal the scar tissue and make it easier to tattoo/less painful if you end up feeling the area, is if you get vitamin E oil and massage it into the area a few times a day for a few months leading up to getting the tat! Vitamin E oil is commonly used for scar tissue repair, its also one of the main ingredients in bio oil but its way cheaper to buy just vitamin E oil. It also works well prior to getting a piercing re-pierced! I used to work reception at a tattoo shop and its something the owner would recommend :)
hi ashton, i used to follow your top surgery journey for a while when it was happening(didnt know youre only 1year older than me! wild), just wanted to say its nice to see another trans person i used to "know"(in whatever internet sense) grow up and become happy with themselves just as i have. i had top surgery about 3 weeks ago now :) thanks for being you
i really want top surgery but the thought of drains specifically makes me panic a lil
I am new to your channel i have a question if your first videos were yellow hair those your hair growths black now the you changed it or do you have to paint it black
Yay
