It’s really sad to me how in the boss fight there’s this upbeat music playing and everytime you attack she just heals you. It just goes to show how much Mari cares. She really is a great character.

OW MY FEELS. Just finished black space 2 and mari doesn't feel like a character anymore. Just a horrid monster with a cute shell. Its infuriating. Been watching all your stuff, really talented and im appreciative. Not to mention you like both OMORI and Inscryption, which I like too.

After seeing a twisted elongated neck Mari for the tenth time and juxtapose it by seeing dream Mari in Headspace, I could see how you don't view her as an actual character anymore lol- But if you wanna look at the lore perspective, it kinda ties back to the fact that we're only seeing Sunny's unreliable narration of Mari. He either sees her as the most perfect thing he's ever seen, or a terrifying figure which comes from the belief that Mari is angry at him for killing her. We never truly know what she's like or how she feels about Sunny other than what's spoken from the other characters as well. Anyways, thanks a lot for watching my content! ^^ Both games have my heart

I think that the closest thing to knowing her real character would probably be from the real world photo album, the scenes from memory lane and maybe a bit from the images during the final duet
Yeah, from what I can tell she was pretty darn great, but not flawless, and ironically one of her worse traits was her perfectionism, which begs the question of can she be that forgiving? I do think so, but I could be wrong. The thing I think this game is most underrated at pulling off is really making Mari’s death feel so much of a loss, and so inherently wrong. She’s not just the ‘one that died’. She was Hero’s soulmate, she was Aubrey’s closest confidant, she was a bit of a cheeky influence on Kel. The breakup of the friend group was just as much about grieving as it was about the structural integrity of the group being shattered. It wasn’t just that they couldn’t be with her, it’s that they couldn’t be with each other without her. None of them only missed her. They all lost a part of themselves with her.
What is this game? Is it happiness or depression? Fandom funny, game sad? I’ve never played it yet my brain is devolving. Edit: Mari has replaced my will to live. She’s just a nice person and a perfect sister, I like that. Send help.

well, the fall alone didn’t kill her, but the violin was broken and shredded at the bottom, and she was most likely impaled by the shard sticking up. it was also mentioned that she had scratches all over her body so uh. remind me not to learn violin
