    I'm wondering if I can use my 5 pound ball that I usually use for my core on this machine and if so will it be more effective?

      Hi Carrie, Yes. You can always incorporate different routine of exercises as long as your body has fully adjusted to our vibration platform. Hope this helps!

    Can someone explain the curvature of the platform, why? Wouldn't it be better to be flat? Does anyone have an opinion or comparison between the flat ones vs curved? Does the curve encourage buckling of the knees and ankles?

      Hi Ben, If balance is the problem then you can purchase the flat. If not, you can purchase the curved. Because the curve makes the plates feel more unstable and will give you a more high intensity workout than the flat.
