As I've said before, this party was at my house. My friend, Sean knew the band and I hired them to play at my 18th bday party on 6.21.86. I paid them $200. The audience was small (10-12 people) because I didn't want our house fucked up by a bunch of hardcore punk assholes. So those of you making fun of how small the crowd was, now you know why. My mom (RIP) hired a videographer and thanks to her we have this documented. Hrgiger6 did the remastering of this historic recording. CS played for about 45min, and then we got complaints from neighbors. What you have is the best quality "pro shot" video of the Band, CS. CS even used parts of it for their DVD.
RAD dude, I was wondering why there wasn't a crowd. I totally understand your parents, your home would of gotten torn to shreds The sound quality does sound bad ass Definitely a birthday present anyone could wish for your parents rule 🤘🏼
7:11 - It appears Rob was the only member to go on and actually make a living with music. He played bass on Rob Zombie's first three albums, and toured with them. In 2003, he joined Ozzy's band when Rob Trujillo left to play bass for Metallica. He's been with Ozzy ever since.
i met him at a ozzfest hotel party in san antonio tx. I didn't know it was him or i would have had him sign my streams of consciousness tape , which was no loner in it's original casing. he's a real cool guy.
anyone remember the cartoon from the eighties called "tiny toons?" this lead vocalist sounds like one of the cartoon characters named " Montana Max." F*cking LOVE IT!!!!
46:27 - cover song " I`ll rather be sleeping ", from band D.R.I., from the album - "Dealing With It! [1985 ]" ..................................................................WOW ! we can die in piece by now heheheh what a historic moment.
At this time I was a 16year old punk in the very small Sydney Australian punk scene. Bands like Hard Ons, Depression, Vicious Circle, Perdition,UTI(aka, Deth Mission), and many others. Good times, shame not many overseas bands came over until 20-30 years later!!
This takes my 40 year old self back to puerto rico at the age of ten. This is fucking awesome, and seeing the black dude kicking it there makes it all that much cooler. These days, shit fucking sucks!!!
Nah man but their dad drives a red s-10 blazer, they could come in a fuckin Barbie vette who gives a fuck, this band changed my life, they are one of the best bands to scar the music world!!
Oh, my freaky-fucking God!!! THANKSSS! Thanks, man, for that digital makeover!!! This is so fucking great, i just love it!!! I will never forget, hearing CS for the first time on German radio in '87 (back there there was a bi-weekly Metal show)!! It was just like BOOOOMMM!!!!! Wuuush! What the fuck, is this!!????". Mind an life changing moment with 14. :-)
yes, I knew. I would spend most of my time at their shows pointing at him and saying "see that guy there? he'll play for ozzy osbourne one day, mark my words."... in fact I was so confident that I even placed a 4 cent bet at odds of 728/1 that he would one day play for Ozzy - landing me a very respectable $29.12 when they inevitably teamed up.
When I think crossover I think of this band for sure as already said The best crossover band of all times is fucking correct. And Rob is an amazing bass player always thought that I think the whole band is amazing

This was my house in Bel-Air... my mom only allowed me to invite a handful of friends as she didn't want her house fucked up.

Who knew that one day the bassist(Rob Nicholson) would play for Ozzy....
+diemutha666 That's a sick dad
His bass work on convicted was actually insane.
Who knew Robert Trujilio would play in Metallica?
yes, I knew.
