Just purchased my first pop-up (2001 Coleman Sea Pine) and am getting it on Monday. This video and discovering your website could not have come at a better time. Thank you for taking the time to make this and the other videos! EXTREMELY helpful!!!
Love the video been really helpful since I'm new to owning a Coleman pop up. I've been putting down the stablizers after i raise the roof but the Bal lever i got off amazon said to level the camper with it then put down the stablizers. So I don't really know what to do on that part?
We have a 2002 Santa Fe as well! I noticed in the video that the velcro around the door is on the inside of the trailer - ours is on the outside. I'm wondering if that might mean the canvas is installed incorrectly?
Hi, I have a 2004 Fleetwood Utah and I have the hardest time lining up the tabs on the screen door and trailer. Is there any easy way of doing this. The door frame is seated properly in the bottom Channel. By the way thank you for all the helpful videos.
@@popupcamperpro thanks! We usually level, then put the stabilizers down, and pop the roof last. I was just wondering the reason for popping the roof first. Maybe there is something we don’t know that we should be doing instead! Thanks for the reply!
we have a 2002 Santa Fe that is identical! Where did you get the latch and handle for the screen door? We have the small push-button version and it is a real pain to open.
@@popupcamperpro I want the better latch/handle also, but all I see is the original type. I already replaced it once, but it's still a pain to open. I've looked for regular screen door latches online and at the hardware stores, but, while they would fit, they're way too big/heavy.
These videos are great! I am trying to figure out how to hook up the battery. I have three wires - one black that has a little two button box breaker on it. One white wire. And another wire that attaches to a little back box on the front of the trailer tongue. Of course there are positive and negative metal things on the battery itself. Any ideas?
Debbie Murray hello and thank you! The extra wire is likely for a breakaway device. This is s small unit the engages the brakes in the event the camper becomes uncoupled during transit.
@@DavidWvu we have a few videos currently available to cover this question. Basically what you wanna know is the black wire is the hot wire on your camper.
We have a 92 coleman arcadia and the wheel for the bed slide out is popped out and one of the rivets broke off. How would we be able to fix on our own?
Stains on canvas can be stubborn. Many people have been having good results with a product called miracle mist. I have not yet tried it personally. Please let us know your results!

Welcome to the club!
I bought 1999 Bayside Fleetwood pop up trailer. And we are loving it. Can you please add the video of how to winterize the trailer.
Will do!

Hello Matthew. If you need to level the camper, do this first, then lower the stabilizers. Thanks for writing and happy pop up camping!
bedpoles first in the bracket then lift the bed a little bit, thats how you do it...
Every video i see shows the Shepard hooks going on much easier than mine do. What am I doing wrong?
Consider backing them off by one click for an easier fit Carol. If needed you can always drill new adjustment holes too.
@Pop up camper pro thanks for the suggestion. They are at the loosest spot. Would drilling new holes effect the integrity of the roof?
@@carolsmith-hk5hp new adjustment holes in the shepherd poles Carol. Not the roof.

Hmmmm, Chris you stumped me on this one. I am not sure and would have to compare a handful of models. Perhaps the community can help answer this one?
our velcro is on the outside as well. not sure which is correct but it seems entirely functional.
We also have a 2002 Santa Fe. Our velcro is also on the outside.
On my 1997 Dutchmen it's on the inside and outside.
@@kilcolman ours is on the outside as well.

Measure your corner heights Richard. Make sure they are all to the same height. Making sure that the camper is level is helpful as well.
Thank you!
Why lower the stabilizer jacks after raising the roof?
My suspicion is that they want you to level the unit first Jenna.

Can you put regular mattresses on these? Those pads look incredibly thin.
As long as the height will allow you to close the camper.

Hello Crystal. You will want to remove the bed and repair the affected roller.

We also have a popping sound when we start to crank it and the it stops after a few cranks. Any idea on that as well? 92 coleman arcadia
