I totally agree with you. I initially thought this song was a sugar hit and wouldn’t grow on me but the more I listen to it, I’m liking it more and more. I love Moa’s singing as well. So good!

Great reaction, thanks! So glad you enjoyed this one. "Light and Darkness" is light years away from my personal musical preferences and I wasn't sure at first about this song. But now that I have listened to it a couple of times (or like 200...) I'm digging it and I'm able to identify some cool aspects apart from the obvious like that drop you commented, the build-up, that unexpected note during the chorus, the subtle guitar work, that double bass pattern, etc. So I'm very happy right now and I can't wait to experience the live version... in person. 😊

After the two-year long hiatus, this is a good tool to remind people of the attractiveness of BABYMETAL and gain new fans, I believe. I guarantee that the real audio has more power to stir your feelings. I witnessed this performance last month and was mesmerized at the venue. Although I could not digest everything at the live debut, I finally grasped its artistry as a whole by this MV. This song reminds me of something but it is very difficult to explain it. The part with Su's calm voice makes me uneasy about something. The part with her powerful timbre and decisive facial expression together with sharp moves by Moa and Momoko makes me decisive for something. The problem is "what the hell is my 'something' ?" Please stop shaking and teasing my emotions, BABYMETAL! 😡 😄
I was at this concert and it was wonderful. There will be a Blu-Ray later this year, but for now these music videos is all there is. Hideki Aoyama was the drummer, I'm pretty sure (though with the masks, who knows). If you haven't yet, I recommend watching their earlier concert videos, too. As far as live videos go: Road of Resistance (Live in Japan), Headbanger (Legend 1997), Babymetal Death (Legend 1997), Rondo of Nightmare (with the Mischiefs of Metal intro, from Budokan Black Night), etc. You'll have to watermark the videos to avoid blocking. (And avoid the compilation videos-they're nowhere near as impressive.) For non-live, BxMxC and Megitsune have great official music videos, and given your comments so far I suspect you'd enjoy those, too.

They showed the concert on Wowow in Japan yesterday so there will probably be bootlegs of that floating around if you want to take to the high seas to find it. There will be an official BD released sometime in the next couple of months too, but I don't think the release date has been announced yet.
Babymetal knows how to do pauses for sure ! In some sense, the drones are a completely new choreography they've added to their show. But I think this show had no pyro (well, maybe at very end) ? That very much might be important to make sure no hot air pockets exist.
Good point. I didn’t even think of that. They obviously have everything planned to the very last detail for every show so the safety risks are at a minimum but it’s still wild to see stuff like this now.

I think you can't react to the American's Got Talent performance, I worry it would get blocked, but if you want to see what Mikiko's dance group does, just check out: ELEVENPLAY x RZM 24 drones. (don't know if you want to do a reaction, that's all up to you)

I am not sure if they will upload the album same day as release as that would be unfair to those who have pre ordered but have not yet received their copy due to our amazing international shipping delays right now, but who knows? I don't think they have done a release in this way before, normally they debut the songs at concerts well before they put out the album so it isn't such a big deal, I know myself I would be disappointed if people were getting the songs for free when I paid for them before me, also the full concert dvd probably won't be until July if they follow how they normally do things, they do however stream a shorter version of the concert in Japan I think that is soon and there will be bootleg versions of that uploaded, but I have decided not to watch those as I want to wait for the real thing.
