The drum fill 2 drops near the end of the song sounds like the finale of a fireworks display. Gives me chills every time.
I sincerely apologize for this, but, ahem… that’s a drum orgasm. If you don’t believe me, go back and look at their faces right after it. The content of the song definitely implies it, “You guide me in…” 😬❤️
A telomere is a region of repetitive DNA sequences at the end of a chromosome. Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled. Each time a cell divides, the telomeres become slightly shorter. Eventually, they become so short that the cell can no longer divide successfully, and the cell dies. How that actually fits in this song 🤷♀️. Great reaction. I guess it can be about death and new beginnings

Telomeres is in my top 3 Sleep Token songs on TPWBYT. In a couple of weeks I'm having, "Let The Tides Carry You Back To Me" in runes, tattooed down my right leg. For my Dad, who passed recently. So this one is special to me. Tbh they're all special to me lol, thanks once again lovelies 🩷

This is my #1 Sleep Token song ever. Just so beautiful, since I haven’t seen it yet, Telomeres: protect the ends of chromosomes from becoming frayed or tangled. Each time a cell divides, the telomeres become slightly shorter. Eventually, they become so short that the cell can no longer divide successfully, and the cell dies.
Another fun fact to point out, each song of this album has a depth meter for tracking how far down in the “ocean” he is while progressing through the album.

Teleomeres imo...is Sleep Token's Love Song. It's a pure rock ballad with an actual guitar solo and I think it's their most beautiful song. That being said High Water is next and it's my 2nd favorite ST song only behind Calcutta.

so. someone just gave the physical definition of telomeres but for this song I think Vessel is going a little more theoretical. Telomeres are theorized to be the things that age us and it's thought that if we can stop the telomeres from getting shorter that we can have eternal life. This song is about eternal love. Also In this song he singing about a black hole but in a beautiful way. "we go beyond the farthest reaches, where the light bends and wraps beneath us, I know when you collapse in to me" he is describing a black hole. This song is next level beautiful.

I think that ending sounds etherial. Like little snippets of what heaven sounds like. Strings and synth pads.
I'm very excited for you to hear Missing Limbs. Another Vessel masterpiece with a beautiful vocal run at the end of it...then on to Take Me Back to Eden, which the back half of that album is a 13/10 masterpiece, concluding with Euclid, which is what heaven likely will sound like!!!
