I remember this as a little kid. It aired in the early, 1970s, too.

Great ad, even though the VO is hard to understand! He's saying, "It's one thing to predict the future. It's another to help make it. Write The Peace Corps. The world needs all the help it can get."

That's the late Alexander Scourby providing the voiceover.

Holy shoot I remember this! Been over 50 years since I seen it. I've always seen this commercial in the back of my mind every time I've heard Aquarius Let The Sunshine In.

Wow. I remember this like it was yesterday. If the audio was true to the original, I swear to God you would like it as much as the 5th Dimension

I remember this. Part of my childhood. I loved it. You even captured the awful sound quality of 1960s TV's. I had no idea what the lyrics or narration were about.

I loved this ad when I was a kid. As I recall it typically ran in the daytime. 1969-1970, thereabouts, contemporaneous with the 5th Dimension’s version of the song.

IMO, this is the best version of Aquarius ever recorded and MP's vocal is way better than the 5th Dimension's. So here's the question: they must have recorded the entire song prior to cutting the commercial. So where is it? Has to be somewhere...

I agree, best version. By the way, who is MP and have you found the entire song?
