You are correct having lived in USA for long I miss India . Particularly the culture, the food, and friendly people. I am concerned whether I will get the same healthcare in India.
Yes India has progressed a lot. I wanted to see what level of education India was offering.
So I found that IIT Professors are teaching excellent courses in Fracture Mechanic's, Quantum Field Theory, Boundary Layer. You name it they are teaching better then the education I received during my PhD program in USA. In America Professors are great but they are too busy with research.
After seeing Chandrayan success, I started to realize India has got one the best Engineers in Space Science etc.
Even Lockheed Martin or the Boeing Company or NASA does not produce those brilliant Engineers like the Indian.
Yes many of my American counter parts will say how come India cannot make a stealth fighter.
Well India has just started implementing their ideas, and it takes time to develop the Engines etc.
After all USA hired so many to do all this. I think USA older generation was very smart. Looks like India is in the same stage when US Space Program was in high gear in the 1960s
Yes Indian Engineers have to implement fast programs. For example China build an entire bridge in one month.
Yes in Conclusion if India can produce a person like Dr Ramanujan, I won't be suprised there many skilled people in India.
Remember Theory and it's implementation are equally important.
