Nothing but construction lumber!

Can you woodturn construction lumber? Woodturning a lidded box on the wood lathe using only construction lumber. Ended up very nice and looks like a dumpling box. Hard woods are very expensive so I thought it would be fun to make something from construction lumber. A fun wood turning project for sure. Perfect for a beginner woodturner to try
I´ve seen others do construction lumber challenges, so here is my take on it.

Hey. You know those boxes you get dumplings in when you order at resturants? I’m nok going to use it like that. Just as any other box, but with decorative lid 😉
