Marine Exhaust - Freshwater Flush System Install

This is my brief process on setting up an easy freshwater flush system on my boat. I am able to do this with the motors off because I do not have a waterlift muffler. My system is all gravity and will spill over and out on its own.

WJ, so do you run the flush when you’re back at the marina and the boat isn’t running? And is the water simply pushed upward into the risers from the manifolds to exit out the exhaust system? Great video and concept! Thank you!!

That's correct. With the engine not running, the raw water pump is acting like a "block" and the water being pushed into the bottom of the manifold has no choice but to go up the riser, into the elbow, and spill over into the exhaust piping, then out of the boat.
