Totally agreed. It be like putting Ikea furniture in your best hotel rooms. A-1Up would have to vastly up their game with special "public" models. I've seen postings in the past about people that thought they could put these on location for added benefits, not knowing that the build quality is in the light weight range. Real arcades made in the '80s are still around, despite being in many random and unprotected locations because they were built to last. These machines were built for home gaming rooms with a mindset that the people that paid money to buy and build them are going to respect them. And, even then, inferior things like the Tron joystick's low grade and thin plastic or the Buck Hunter's poorly protected gun cameras are going to work against any TLC the owner might show to their paid machines. But on location with total strangers? Waste of money for the business.

I'll preface saying I have no interest in collecting arcade cabs much less A1up's, but I agree with your points. I enjoy your content and agree with you that the quality of an arcade 1up is bad. I also agree with you that their quality would not stand up to constant use of the public and is not a good fit in a suite. I am fortunate enough to travel a lot with stays in suits (as upgrades due to hotel status) and this is not a good fit or what I look for in a suite room. I do disagree with your contestant bashing of these products. For most people, Arcade 1up is just a toy and considered so. I purchased these Star Wars and modified it with a bigger screen and the buystuff arcade game box and it is great and looks great in my game room. I do not want or need a full size arcade and like the multicade I modded. I agree with you that Arcade 1up was a horribly run company and missed so many opportunities to be successful but I think we should acknowledge for an average consumer (and not a purist) it is a decent product. I am considering purchasing the Atgames 4k Peanuts pinball machine which you bash all the time. I agree they are not advertising it correctly but for a home use hobbyist it seems like a good product. @@shawnholloway2410 the Atgames 4k is fine for what it is, not a bad cost. My plight is the only really good tables are the zen and all the Atgames shills act like all the snoopy tables and Dr Seuss tables are “so much fun “. BS. MY other issue is that the zen tables are nerfed , the physics are different from fx or fx3. And tons of options are not there. But if you never played them on a good pc , then you won’t know any better. As for 1up. I never criticized general public persons for liking their machines. I just want them to know that playing on those machines isn’t the best experience. These channels that dedicated their lives to this product and considered themselves gaming experts , were all frauds. And now they have sold all their 1ups and realized that no credible gaming channel can support that crap product. I’ve always said, go watch some random RUclipsr say they like it , a casual, and that’s fine , but when you portray yourself as an gaming RUclips arcade channel and you are lying to everyone saying how great they are, it’s a joke. I think Arcade 1up put too much effort into promoting through the wrong channels and did not expand their product line in the proper direction and improved quality. I agree with you on just about everything and really enjoy the channel. I think my biggest issue (and not your fault) is for a general person, it is extremely difficult to find a specific purpose review that satisfies my use for the machines, specifically the AtGames pinball. Either I listen to the shills or follow your advice on the product as too many shortfalls. I get your view, when you have a Stern or a real PC table, it would be going backwards playing an Atgames. It would be like driving a Porsche and then go to driving a Toyota Camry. Anyway, I really like your show and enjoy it. I am just frustrated on if I will enjoy the Atgames pinball if I purchase.
