This is the best banana pudding in my opinion. Light on sugar.. kind of healthy. I also found a recipe for almond flour vanilla wafers that work great and are much healthier compared to store bought

We use lady fingers ( boudoir biscuits or madeiras) cut in 2 or 3 pieces because i can't find those cookies in Belgium. It's very delicious with the madeiras a bit of a crunch with the soft texture of bananas and cream ❤
interesting, i make something similar but i make it in later layers using lady fingers. would be like this i use a tall pyrex or bowl to make a bunch of layers . (ladyfinger dipped in caramel flavoured milk ->a layer of diplomat cream -> a layer of banana slices -> diplomat cream -> ladyfingers -> banana -> cream-> i added blueberries on top for color and texture. dipomaat cream is similar to this video a homemade custard with hipped cream added to it. chill in fridge for overnight or a day. i dont like bananas but i LOVE this. esp the addition of blueberries gives it a lovely contrasting texture

I literally just made somthing similar an hour ago. Just didn't use any heavy cream. It's so tasty. I'll surely make it with heavy cream next time.
