I don’t think expelling the whole population is the way to go, even though Pollard does correctly point out that millions of ethnic Germans were expelled from Russia and Eastern Europe after WWII. The difference is, those people all had a place to go to - Germany - which unconditionally accepted and resettled them. But where are two million Gazans going to go? Yes, most of them descend from Egyptians but other than their very oldest, most of them haven’t lived in Egypt for generations. And more to the point, Egypt doesn’t want them. But definitely I think there needs to be at least an interim period of re-occupation, with extremely heavy security, which is not going to be pleasant for either side. But I can’t see Israel accepting anything less than that, certainly not handing them over a state and leaving. That’s what they did back in 2005, and look what came of it. I personally identify more with the Jewish people's need to reclaim their homeland and have autonomy over their destiny. I don’t think expelling the whole population is the way to go, even though Pollard does correctly point out that millions of ethnic Germans were expelled from Russia and Eastern Europe after WWII. The difference is, those people all had a place to go to - Germany - which unconditionally accepted and resettled them. But where are two million Gazans going to go? Yes, most of them descend from Egyptians but other than their very oldest, most of them haven’t lived in Egypt for generations. And more to the point, Egypt doesn’t want them. But definitely I think there needs to be at least an interim period of re-occupation, with extremely heavy security, which is not going to be pleasant for either side. But I can’t see Israel accepting anything less than that, certainly not handing them over a state and leaving. That’s what they did back in 2005, and look what came of it. Pollard is right; left to their own devices they’ll just create another Hamas and another terror state.

Gazans. May God have mercy on their souls. Israel has bent over backwards for peace. Gazans were in their own state when they attacked Oct. 7. They had a 2 state solution, but again as many times before they reject peace with Israel. The world even sent them billions of dollars to build a state, but it was used only to destroy. I pray that God may give a righteous plan to Israel to deal with this people of hate.
Pollard eloquently presents the case as an Israeli patriot. However, patriotism has been twisted by the left in both Israel and in the USA to mean "right wing". Perry is a perfect example of a confused leftist spewing "moral equivalence" where it doesn't belong. In this situation, Pollard is on target by suggesting Gazans need to be removed, since they not only elected Hamas to lead them but overwhelmingly supported Hamas in its atrocities against Israel, and hundreds of "ordinary" Gazans participated in the attacks. I agree that they should be re-located to a country which favors them, such as Ireland. The nearby Arab countries won't take them, because they know those people are nothing but trouble, leaving Israel to deal with them. The only fair but difficult solution would be for Israel to determine precisely which Gazans would not be a threat to Israel, and let them stay, but expel all the others. Then, Israel could annex the Strip and Israelis could re-settle there.

Turkey isn't going to attack hamas in Gaza. Turkey is housing hamas leaders too afraid to stay in Qatar (the hotels may not have the security they need to feel safe).
Turkey are starting to risk their membership in NATO with kissing up to Iran and Russia. Their attempted genocide on Kurds doesn't help either.
