So I don't know if you ended up making changes to the setup, but you are doing e better job not always talking directly into the mic and the reduction in "booming" is very noticeable. The mic is still too sensitive though. Just so you have a clear example, @16s we can hear you smack your gums with your tongue. Stuff like that shouldn't be recorded unless you want to do ASMR.
Hey! I'm really do appreciate you helping me out. I'm still ironing a couple of things out, but yes, I'll try to make it less noticeable and the booming is from the artificial increase in my voice, so I'll make sure to reduce that as well. Also, I did make an asmr channel too haha so I'll be making those as well ^>^
@@Faqur You're welcome! Well, hopefully you make recordings for either channel with the same setup by just changing up a few settings.
You generally sound better when you are not facing the camera because that's when you are talking past the mic. So none of the air from you talking hits it directly. It's very noticeable how much the booming and volume spikes as you turn towards your microphone. Sometimes, even talking as softly as you do, the recording still peaks out.
You don't talk this quietly in your day to day life right? Try to balance the gain around your normal speaking voice. If shit keeps peaking out on you it's all too sensitive. That should also solve the problem of the recording picking up mouth and breathing noises.
