It’s the camera system for the number plate recognition equipment that takes the details of all of the vehicles that are either behind or to the side of the police vehicle. They also have another camera facing forwards to collect the details of vehicles that are in front of them no matter what direction they are facing. If they recognise a vehicle number that should not be on the road for whatever reason (no tax,no mot , no insurance, stolen vehicles or any number of other reasons) the system saves a picture of the vehicle and displays it on screen along with the reason for the notification and a suggestion of weather the constables should divert from their current task to stop the vehicle or just create a log to follow up with the information when they are clear to do so. At the same time as the system takes note of the details it also sounds an alarm in the car so that the driver and crew are alerted to check their display screen.
So many cops are always inside the stations and not on the streets. They always seem to stop auditers outside.but never turn up or respond to crimes on time.Sad policing.
You could take a stroll round the block in the time it takes for that gate to open wide enough to get a car through. So unless the police intend to crash through the feckin thing you should be in no danger at all.
You are so right, the PLOD just love to give our orders, it certainly is a power trip and bully thing, plus they must love the sound of their own voice. I'm guessing they must have had their toys taken away from them when they were little boys. And, at the speed that the gate opens and the cars crawl through, there will be no vehicles 'Flying Out' of the gate to put anyone in harms way... Aside from which no one gives a flying fart if and when PLOD are happy... As for the second pair of PLOD, are they really allowed to wear nose studs and earrings whilst on duty???? Looks pathetic.
It always amuses me that they ask if you need any help? If you needed any help you would surely ask them for it or say 'help' Perhaps next time they ask if you need help, ask them something like 'well I'm a bit constipated today. Any advice or help for this?'. Or 'I'm not sure which colour to paint my lounge, magnolia seems so bland what do you think Scarlet red or black?' 😀
This might sound a bit weird but I just counted how many seconds it took for the Gate to open it was 10 seconds so there is no rush because every time it takes 10 seconds to hide and I don’t think it opens any quicker if there was on blue lights it’s 10 seconds of my life I won’t get back

Police Corruption: Editors fear Police Guidance on Links With Journalists Editors have questioned police guidance which they say links journalists with corruption, and "equates them with the wrongdoing they work to uncover". National College of Policing guidelines say officers should declare relationships with journalists, just as they have to with convicted criminals. But the Society of Editors says journalists should not be included on a list of "notifiable associations". The guidelines only came to light earlier this year. Writing to the College of Policing - an independent arm's-length body of the Home Office - the Society of Editors said it was alarming that the guidance had only become public after it was referenced in a report by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMICFRS). Footnotes in the report indicate the counter-corruption guidance has existed since at least 2015. The report looked at the findings of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel, tasked with investigating relationships between corrupt police officers, private investigators and journalists involved in the unsolved murder case of a private investigator. Following the panel's findings of "institutional corruption" last year, the inspectorate was highly critical of the Metropolitan Police's current counter-corruption policies and contrasted them with the College of Policing's guidance, known as Authorised Professional Practice. It said the Met Police's approach was out of date, especially regarding "notifiable associations". Read more: Sanchia Berg, BBC News
Re body worn cameras - do the police actually run courses for the general public to train them to know the intricacies of technology used by the police? If not how are non-tech savvy people (oldies like me) supposed to know what his camera is doing?

Plod FFS you watch yourself mate those gates open really fast and the cars come out at such a speed with blues and twos going you may get hit by a car. If the driver can't see some one in front of them then they should get their eyes tested and not drive until they can see and if they did hit you it would be the drivers fault, pathetic excuses and directives by the police
I have said the same , they shouldn’t be behind a wheel ha ha
The usual nonsense
It's just so funny, the look of bewilderment on their faces when you outright refuse to obey their directives is priceless.
It's not what they signed up for! "We ThOuGhT wE'd GeT tO tElL pEoPlE wHaT tO dO!"
you're great, keep up the good work man. it educate all of us who watch your video.. what public member can do or not.. how to interact with police, what can we deny or have to. so yea..great stuff. hope more and more ppl subscribe to you and learn from this. Public need to know what actual law we can do or have to. It informative. thanks.
Ask them to flap their elbows up and down and say cluck cluck!
Looks like Hendon have just churned some more rookies out after their intensive 12 weeks training!!
Gates a so fast at opening 😂😂😂😂
So concerned about the safety and well being of the guy that he might get hit by a car. A disgrace the Police didn't exercise the same amount of concern about the young girls who were groomed in Rotherham, and still going on in many cities in England today. Despicable.
As an X para, you must be mortified by children trying to give you orders. You have a lot of patience my man.
X PARA,,SO WHAT
@@redted366 . They only take the best that's why.
Anyone after serving in the Para's for twenty years feeling a little resentful being spoken to by some wanker just out of the police academy, would no doubt give them the contempt they deserve. Anyone not seeing a trend in our police force over the last thirty years, is in a coma. They no longer serve us, we serve them.

They never miss a trick to try to bully, they love it!. And another one falls into the trap & gets "Educated", they don't learn do they!
I think if TPORNTP gets the let me give you some words of advice to the police first, it makes them look silly if they try that one on
Typical police intelligence level, approach and stand next to a person to tell them that they are blocking or being in the way of traffic. That makes 3 times as many standing in the way of or blocking cars coming out. Makes total sense to them i suppose.
Looks like DIY prison tattoos on that PC. I suppose he could have drawn them himself with the ebay kit
It looked like the scrawling of a small child.
He got them done while he was in prison!! 😂😂
Three hideous tattooed arms, one defaced flag sticker, one in absurd clothes with mask on, all asking idiotic questions, you beat them so easily! Well done.
Still shocking to see that the deluded are still sleep walking in face nappies
Yes, why on earth is anyone still putting nappies on their face?
@@hhatkin Yes why did they wear them right from the start of the scamdemic the stupidity is rife
Excellent loved this 1
Its awful when you are filming, then John Wayne turns up to be in the film. Next week, Clint Eastwood is coming along to plod along
Anyone know what the black box is on the roof of pig mobile 4:56 ?
Nice to see a special guest appearance by Indiana Jones halfway through the vid 🤭👍📸🎬
Take care Plod. Nice one.
It always amuses me that they ask if you need any help?
If you needed any help you would surely ask them for it or say 'help'
Perhaps next time they ask if you need help, ask them something like 'well I'm a bit constipated today. Any advice or help for this?'. Or 'I'm not sure which colour to paint my lounge, magnolia seems so bland what do you think Scarlet red or black?' 😀
Jeez, ridiculous police we have, back to school next week !
Elderly version of crocodile dundee
This might sound a bit weird but I just counted how many seconds it took for the Gate to open it was 10 seconds so there is no rush because every time it takes 10 seconds to hide and I don’t think it opens any quicker if there was on blue lights it’s 10 seconds of my life I won’t get back
Just making sure you won’t be hit by a car whilst standing int he middle of the road. Doh!
The absolute state of policing in Britain....from where are they recruiting these people?
I can almost hear the scraping of the barrel bottom.
In terms of actual auditing, I think you've now gained the top spot. 👏👏👏
You always stand your ground, where others cave in to the slightest threat of (false) arrest.
"Your blocking the gates... " says the coppers who actually are blocking the gate's 🙈
Blimey, Indiana Jones has let himself go, hasn't he? But Harry Potter's looking good
how do they think you get there without crossing roads and avoiding traffic do they think you drop out of the sky where the hell did Indiana jones nosey sod come from good vid
The police don't know how to abuse the public anymore 🤣🤣🤣🤣 great video
Even if there was no gates present its down to them to still drive carefully through on blues or not
Police Corruption: Editors fear Police Guidance on Links With Journalists
Editors have questioned police guidance which they say links journalists with corruption, and "equates them with the wrongdoing they work to uncover".

Re body worn cameras - do the police actually run courses for the general public to train them to know the intricacies of technology used by the police? If not how are non-tech savvy people (oldies like me) supposed to know what his camera is doing?
2nd cop looked as if he was going to sing A Policeman's Life Is Not a Happy One.
Even if you are on an emergency call you still have to avoid hitting pedestrians with your vehicles so MY ADVICE TO YOU YOUNG COPPERS is if your on an emergency call and I’m in the way make some noise and I’ll get out of your way
Keep plodding Plod, they’ll eventually get the message.
They're not going to be flying out of that gate given the speed that the gate moves!
The gates do open fast that’s to stop them having a smoke while they have to wait
Absolutely no way the tax payer is paying their wages..
Again well done plod. I would love to hear what they say out of ear shot, probably big up plod perhaps?😂😂😂
I'm curious about "private property" sign posted on the wall near the gate. Police station are public property so shouldn't the sign read "restricted access only".
