Got a pair of Darn Tough socks, they are hands down the best. I've worn Smartwool and the Darn Tough are better. The only issue is the price, its a once a year or as needed purchase. I'm not going to be replacing every sock in my drawer immediately, but over time they are replacing the rainforest store specials.

Appreciate your channel a lot bro. You really deliver actual quality content that is very helpful. Just dropped 1500$ on some tanker 2.0s in two tone shrunk bison and every bell and whistle i could justify breaking in.
I could of got out around 800, but justified spending extra to get something i can roof, frame, arbor, and use for literally all the trades I do, as well as have a juicy boot to wear out and about.
I really think more and more people are gonna be waking up to the value in non-disposable work wear and your level of care and detail really is a breath of fresh air.

Can confirm about those Turton scissors. Luckily I got to skip the normal 6-month wait for a pair of Ernest Wright scissors because they had some extra left-handed models from pandemic-related logistics issues. Had them for nearly 4 years now and honestly have no regrets. No more blades just squeezing something instead of actually cutting, obscured lines of sight, and contorting my hand and neck for precise cutting. They still cut through chicken and turkey bones, veggies, seafood, cloth, nylon, leather, etc and come apart for easy cleaning. Couldn't recommend them more for left-handed people who use frequently use scissors.

Have you tried bamboo socks? Living in south Texas we have hot summers and the Redback bamboo socks have been the best thing. I have darn tough that are doing fantastic right now, but with 100+ temp days they're a bit much. Bamboo still has some cushion but has some incredible sweat wicking properties. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on them for summer work wear. Cheers!

Great video, but I do have a question regarding the recommendation of the Mystery Ranch packing cubes. I read somewhere that Yeti had bought Mystery Ranch and that they were incorporating many of Mystery Ranches' products into the Yeti product offerings. Once Yeti has absorbed the Mystery Ranch products, based on their past practices, the Mystery Ranch brand will cease to be. "Please, don't misunderstand me," I love Yeti...having purchased their mugs, their insulated water jugs, cooler(s), a Yeti backpack and two of their 60L Go Boxes, etc. I love the brand, but their history seems to predict that Mystery Ranches' days are numbered. I've thought about it, but thats such a small segment it wouldn't get many views. Plus we get a stipend to purchase FR, so most people just end up getting the same Tindale stuff each year.

Always funny when people sort of tell on themselves lol. Work gloves are disposable, they are a use item. The only way a work glove can last "basically forever" is if you never use them. 😂

Seems like my comment was removed. Maybe the sponsors did not like it.
    But will repeat again:
That Goral jacket is a big cash grab, at a crazy £1950, for a company specialised in Trainers.
Other companies specialised in leather jackets, like Aero or Eastman have jackets for significantly cheaper and much better quality.
Carl did say that it was sponsored. Otherwise, I would never see him recommend such jacket to anyone.
    Buyer beware!

This was a sponsored segment, you are correct. If someone were asking for the best B3, I'd have a lot of recommendations. Thank you for your insight and feedback! I always do my best to keep things on the up and up on this channel, and you'll definitely know when a sponsor is being presented.

@CarlMurawski thank you for your reply. I thought my comment could potentially help your audience as I, like others coming to watch, generally appreciate your opinion on items.
For this one in particular, I think there are much better options out there and would prompt people to search before buying.
