Unfortunately you can’t use virtual controller or any other keyboard to record while scales are snapped. There are other products that may allow this but not in Cakewalk. What I mean is….Say I wanted to record only in D major and no matter what I note I play on the keyboard it will only play the notes within that particular Key. This would be great if you wanted to perform live but didn’t want to think about playing in the correct key.
