Israel won this boxing tournament a year later for people saying he can’t box. He literally did so well in KB because of his boxing that’s how he sets up his kicks and controls range. He’s one of the most underrated boxers in MMA today. That body jab of his is something special

If you fight against boxer with same stance, it should be your number 1 punch in your arsenal. Against mirror stance opponents it's almost useless, unless you're world champ

I’m curious to see what Izzy’s career would look like had he stuck with boxing. There’s been a few ex-kickboxers like Povetkin and (Vitali) Klitschko for example who transitioned to professional boxing and did well.
@Logan Mccoy he’s fought at 100kg before which is 220lb. Also he’s stays near fighting shape year round so he doesn’t have to worry about weight cuts while most guys balloon and feel terrible before there fights but his frame could definitely fit more weight if he wanted to put it on without jeopardizing speed. This is coming from a guy that is built very similarly to him
I realize that that’s why I said he’s he’s capable of adding the weight without sacrificing speed or agility because of his frame I’m actually taller and longer than Izzy so that why I said I can also speak from personal experience
