Back when the Test stars played half a Shield season as well, they were the days.

A lot of them these days would be happy to play but have too many commitments. It's a shame because the quality of shield cricket is lifted when the test stars play.

Going to say this now: no one in my 30 plus years of watching cricket has caught the ball better, or made catching look ridiculously easy. Learn from this man, young 'uns.

They talk about Mark Waugh’s batting average being below that of a ‘great’ but gees he saved so many runs from just his fielding.
Catching saved so many runs you didn’t have to make, shortened games & promotes team harmony.

He had his slumps, but you could never take away his value in the field, plus he had a knack of breaking a partnership whenever he rolled the arm over.

G'Day All Thanks , To Junior, I had a great run at Grade Cricket back in the day. I met a few of the Players at an Early Opener in Waterloo just down from the SCG, gave me a tip of picking up and throwing in a motion, rather than picking up focusing then throwing , the secret … is once again timing go in with soft hands , as your running to pick up the ball glance at the stumps a second before you actually pick up , this is the key
" Don’t Think " " your natural sporting talent that we all train for, will kick in, instinctively , sub consciously, reach down pick up the ball and turn throw at the same time , timing soft hands and relax into the motions and your skill will take over, with no thought at all "…

Gees, the ending was a shocker.
Surprised Jelena wasn’t hiding a ham sandwich behind her back.

What a cowardly and nasty comment about a person who achieved more in sport than you will ever achieve.
