As Rob Zombie said "These girls had more energy than 90% of the bands we played with."

Babymetal is probably Japan's #1 Metal band. they focus on metal while being cute. I love that band and hope you try more of their songs lol

Actually Electric Callboy are pretty reactor friendly. They even did videos where Kevin and Nico (the two vocalists) reacted to reactions to their songs.

Great first reaction. Both bands formed in 2010. Electric Callboy are from Germany and are great musicians, but they like to have fun and inject some humour into what they do. Although this is a straight collaboration between the two bands it is very much in the Electric Callboy style, you will have fun exploring more of their own work.
BABYMETAL are Japanese (and absolutely nothing like the Korean K-Pop boy band BTS). They mix things up even more than Electric Callboy and they are the best live entertainment of any kind that I've had the privilege to experience in person. You won't have seen or heard anything quite like them, they pioneered their own metal sub-genre fusing metal with J-Pop hooks, melodies and aesthetics (including introducing choreographed dance to metal ... yes they did that) and they are both original and unique.
They are Su-metal (lead vocalist), Moametal and Momometal (backing vocals, harmonies and in charge of choreo which not only helps with interpreting the meaning of songs or a lyric, it also involves and includes the crowd - when the girls jump, pump a fist, chant or whatever the crowd follows their lead).
Su-metal was 12 when BABYMETAL started in 2010, Moametal and the original third member Yuimetal were both 11.
Yuimetal last appeared in October 2017 and left the band in October 2018 because of ongoing health issues.
Su and Moa continued as a duo for 4-5 years supported by 3 dancers (the Avengers) who would take turns dancing (not singing) in the third spot. On 1st April 2023 the last remaining Avenger Momoko was revealed as the new official third member Momometal - and she finally got her mic to join in with the singing.
BABYMETAL have nearly 70 songs now, each one different to the last - some are good hard metal, some lean towards their pop roots, they do everything in between and they will also mix and blend in so many other musical styles and genres with the metal. The whole thing was formed and developed around Su-metal's vocal talents ... as I said, she was only 12 when they started and she is phenomenal.
Pick any live BABYMETAL song, you can't go wrong. 'Megitsune' live at PIA MM Arena from April 2023 would be a good place to start. It is one of their earlier songs and it shows a lot of what they are all about.

babymetal is amazing. they're often harder than this, but there's a lot of diversity in babymetal's catalog.
this song made me aware that electric callboy exists.

Welcome to the Fox Hole! If you like mixing fun and music, you're in for a treat! Prepare for the info dump...
Babymetal is a japanese band. My guess is you went for korean because J-Pop and K-Pop are pretty similar but K-Pop is more famous.
They're a metal idol band, mixing all kinds of metal subgenres with J-Pop. This mixture of music is called Kawaii Metal, which they pretty much invented. They started as a sub-unite of Sakura Gakuin, which was an idol band themed around school and clubs. They were the Heavy Metal club. They were only 11 and 12 when the group started in 2010!
There is a lot to unpack here so maybe I should spare you and let you ease into it. I'm sure other Babymetal fans will tell you everything there is to know. We're known to be quite enthiousastic about new people discovering Babymetal.
Here's some recommendations as to which song to react to next.
I tend to like doing things in a chronological order so of course I'm gonna suggest their debut song, "Doki Doki Morning". But keep in mind, they had absolutely no budget at the time and this song served as a proof of concept of some sort.
You could also go directly for their first viral song, "Gimme Chocolate". 3 million views in two weeks. Not for everyone's taste but I personnaly love it! It's weird and catchy. And metal.
Or you could go for their first collab, "Road of Resistance". I'll hold the information of who they collabed with in case you wanna try to guess. ^^
In any case, always go for the live version of their songs. Except maybe for Megitsune and Metali.
There's a lot more to say about them but for now, just enjoy the ride!
Will you like them? Only the Fox God knows. (not a cult).

Callboy loves people reacting to their videos, you shouldn't have issues there. They exploded some years back with Hypa Hypa, and then We got the Moves was a big one too, both great, and very humorous videos/music. Babymetal is someone I have never really followed, it's Japan's take on an 'idol' band but with metal music, they were kids when they started, hence "Babymetal" (over 10 years ago). They seem nice, but I never personally got really into the more manufactured metal - they have a huge fanbase though.

This is EXACTLY the kind of reaction both of these bands love, and thrive off of. "I don't know what this is, but I f*** with it!" with a smile on your face :) Love your open-mindedness :) (PS...coming from a military family, I know fellow service people sometimes don't like to hear this, or get tired of it, but still...thank you for your service, my man)

Welcome to Babymetal, they are Japanese, and nothing like BTS, lol.
Babymetal’s been around for 14 years and are industry heavy weights in heavy metal. They are probably Japan’s biggest band right now.
    Check out these:
*Road of Resistance (Pia Arena MM, 2023):* Epic battle anthem.
*BxMxC (Budokan 2021):* Heavy AF metal rap battle.
*Headbanger (Legend 1997):* 11 years ago, lead Su-metal’s 16th birthday.

I graduated high school in 1987. "Fast Times at Ridgemount High" WAS high school for me. Saying that, I love seeing metalheads like me discover BabyMetal. They have a lighter voice but are heinously METAL. Check out the video where they sang with ROB HALFORD! Like your page, Cheers from Austin!

Ur right that bts is korean, but babymetal isnt. They are from japan, they started the genre known as kawaii metal, originally branching out from an idol group called Sakura Gakuin. Most people usually recommend listening to Road of Resistance as a new babymetal listener, and gimme chocolate which was the song which really put them on the radar internationally. I'd definirely recommend listening to The One which is kinda like a grand babymetal anthem, and Kingslayer which is a crazy collab with bring me the horizon pretty recently.

As some have mentioned, Babymetal usually goes harder than this, but they have a lot of music in different styles, their live stuff is a must to checkout, please definitely check more Babymetal, I found electric call it through this collab, one of my favorite lives is “MoaBanger” ruclips.net/video/s-oK5KdjSQ4/видео.htmlsi=bj_-dChboRAtrJno but I like the momobanger version just a little more because she does some growls

Well , yes They were a Subunit of Skura Gakuin and Ken Kobayashi (Kobametal) was the Director of Sakura Gakuin. He was an old Meralhead and Deeply worried about the japanese Metal Industry, that were only aging Males Bands and fans alike, but their came no youth. So in his position he thought he could do something about it. So he was looking for a pretty loud female singer and he found Suzuka Nakamura. That was the core of the Hard Music Club.and this attracted the twosmallest members Yui and Moa. While it was accepted that he took Suzuka under his contract to Supervise her vocal training. But his idea to create a group for metalwas extremly critized by Amuse. The Metal narket was in Amuse's Opinion too small. But he was by far their best Handler. He had the Problem that his planned Performers were afraid of Metal. But in fact he quickly developed the support by the girls. He simply made things like Music videos with them, with his own Money. But when there was time for the year book Amuse needed anything from these Clubs so he sold these things back to Amuse so that they could call it a real Amuse project. But there was a time limit for the girls when they became 16 the country no longer forced the idols tp be in school, so they were no longer a paet of Sakura Gakuin. They made a big graduation ceremonie for the leaving girls. When it got time to Suzukas Graduation this club had already quite impressive sales and Amusecwas quite interested in these sales and wanted in on this project. They wanted to build a new group around Suzuka, hire two new dancer around her teach them the necessary Chore. But Kobametal had other plans. He wanted to take her out of school and directly employ her in the industry as a stage hand and simply wait for Yuis and Moas Graduation abd then send the Girls around.
In 2014 there happened something neither Amuse nor Koba had planned. They planned a small Europe Tour ao they booked a Stage at Sonicsphere 1.090 - 4.000 people. But Gimme Chocolate went viral on RUclips and Metallica wrote a raving review about the girls, so Sonicsphere put them on the main Stage. And thegirls faced about 50 to 60.000 people that were waiting on the main performers and suddenly these three little japanese Girls stood there, with their supporting band. Silence in huge parts of the audience and only small nests of supporters, but after the show thy were yelling, we want more.
And they sold more merch than the other bands. This meant a general revamping of their tour plans. This made Babymetal to the internationally most successful japanese Band. In 2017 they lost Yui due to health reasons and in 2017 in 2018 she declared that she would not return and Babymetal worked with Guest Dancers to replace Yuis part in their Choreo. In 2020 their contract ended Their were 10 year concerts and a Collaboration with BMTH (Kingslayer). Than in 2023 a new two day concert and in April 2023 their old Guest Dancer Momoko Okazaki became the new third Member ans they started a huge world wide tour. It was obvious that Kobametal was worried about waning Support but the Band got stronger and stronger. In Boston Electrical Cowboy was suddenly shocked by a visit of Babymetal and they had a contract for this Collab. And we are hearring Rumours that Pollyphia is also under contract.
No, they are japanese. J-Pop was originally mostly build around younger Girls, but Amuse was a japanese Talent Agency with very specific goals. So they were interested in overqualified Idols.
