The engagement with people outdoors makes those emotions show within the pictures. I personally think it’s a great idea, you never know who you might capture and more than likely they will remember that interaction. Good content.
Love this challenge it's always fun. Maybe you should have a card with you instagram on it to hand to people rather than having to go back and find them.
I've done this before but am quite selective about who I ask. It's because I want to give a genuine compliment (about their hair or outfit) before asking for a photo. It really is a great exercise when you are bored or want to change things up from regular street photography.
The real question is… how many of these people were you actually able to locate again to send them their photos… “I’ll be back in 5 minutes” 😂😂😂 Great video - some really awesome street portraits.

I’m a photographer and have been for almost 11 years now and even I can’t imagine myself walking up to strangers in public and asking them for a photo. I never understood street photography and I never will… I also can’t imagine myself walking around with my huge camera and lenses attracting so much attention and causing discomfort and stress to some people. I don’t know, either I’m too polite or I’m really shy - whichever it is, I’ll never understand street photographers and street photography.
@@nogerboher5266 yeaa the social anxiety is rough.. mirrorless systems are helping with regards to staying lowkey as they’re much smaller, but I def won’t be doing this with my 5D mark iii 😂
I am new to street photography. I'll have to start a sort of a distance and then get closer as my confidence grows. I think starting with an iPhone will make one more inconspicuous. Then, I can move on to another camera.
i like the contest "asking to hundred people" but i think it's wrong to do it in just ten minutes, if someone came to me while he is running i will probably deny the photo, i think calm and confidence can really makes difference
there needs to be a better way to handle ppl that are genuinely curious about ur photos. Maybe a card or something. It just seems a bit awkward to take their photo than run off. In NYC, nobody really believes that "ill be back in 5 minutes"
Woah that's more people asked than 3 of my vlogs Been challenging myself to hit the streets and asking people for photos and recording at the same time
I once said the same to Pierre on another of his videos, but apparently it got lost in the shuffle. Hope he sees it this time. It'd save him a lot of time.
I have a great feeling to take photos like you. But due to insufficient money i can't buy professional camera:') And that makes me always sad about it.
My anxiety would be off the charts if I did this. Props to you guys
is hard first time, then is just fun
Same here. 😔
Hehe we were nervous!!

The happiness is wonderfully contagious for everyone involved!
My current job has helped me a lot with social interaction so this is something I definitely want to try. Loved the energy and the video! Keep it up!
From what I've seen its all in the approach. Noice content.

You need a business card to hand out to people on these challenges
So interesting and nice video :D :D
Now make NFTs of these!!
You should create business cars to hand out to people so if they want the photo they can reach you
You take the photo very awesome for people😁✌️👍
thank you
It was an exciting vedio....really enjoyed it.❤

Indeed. Its all int he approach. They handicapped themselves a bit with the time limit.
the people who accept it are usually more friendly
Fun video!
i like your presets
Does anyone know what he used to print the lady with pigeon photo??

Hi Pierre, is it weird to bring a dslr around not on a campus or downtown? I live in California.
*Social anxiety level intensifies

Stupid question but... What BACKPACK is Hercules using (sling/one shoulder)?? Anyone? Please!
Fun, but to be honest, I would rather see you persuade one person to agree to 100 distinct photos. New challenge. :)
I like all presets in this video.
Thanks!!
Salut Pierre, je voulais te posé la question, pour quoi certaine personne sont flouté ? Sa me trotte :D Superbe video BTW !
Why not hand out cards with your social handles so you dont have to try to track people down afterwards?
I once said the same to Pierre on another of his videos, but apparently it got lost in the shuffle. Hope he sees it this time. It'd save him a lot of time.
I really want the sony alpha 7 mark lll
I want to be like you someday
hunt for b&w pics please
I have a great feeling to take photos like you.
But due to insufficient money i can't buy professional camera:')
And that makes me always sad about it.
You don't need a professional camera to take good photos. Just practice to develop your skill and eye for where the good photos are.
just take photos of the people without asking permission lol. it's not like it's illegal to do that
Did you donate afterwards 😂
Where is that? Wow you're all over the places :) When do you have a time to be a father?! :D

Bro can you come Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
I did this in Vancouver and got about a 15% "Yes" rate, with about a 20% aggressive "your invading my rights" rate as well.
I would be curious how different it is having multiple people as well as a videographer where it seems more "professional"
In Canada, really?
