This whole era was just awesome. I love the grunge, the dance, the music style, the energy, their look. Everything. Back then both Tae and Jimin did a lot of growling and voice fry. Love it. Songs like this are classic Bangtan and why old army got so excited over the Run BTS song and dance - it's a similar sound from back then.
YES!!!! I lose it when both of them growl. The performance they did with Idol on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallen in the hambaks, the Korean robes & the temple behind them. Tae & Jimin were both growling & competing with each other which the others would join in. So, the entire performance was elevated to insane heights!!! It was soooooo good!!!
Every time kpop artists release new music it's called a comeback. Then they go to all the Korean music shows to perform the new music for part of their promotion. There are like 5 or 6 different music shows I believe. These Korean music shows also give out awards weekly to artists based on certain criteria. I think BTS has a total of 161 music show wins and they didn't even win their first music show award until 2015, 2 years after they debuted. So when it says comeback stage it doesn't necessarily mean the first performance, it just means a performance with their new music.
Dang it!!!! I really hoped you'd find the Danger, Mo Blue remix version. It's my favorite version. It's with the Vietnamese singer who wrote part of this song and it flippin' rocks!
I am binge watching your BTS reaction videos now for a while. Love your honest opinion about them. They put so much work and effort in their music, I think nobody really admires that. Plus, in stage, they dance and sing live. No lip sync ever. I think they even can best marathon runner.

Lots of hard work went into it but I also believe that BTS have that element of magic when they work together, they seem to move and breathe at the same instant. I watch their older stuff because it's so cute watching the fierce bad boy looks on their baby faces. So much talent displayed so early. And I find it amusing that the number of close shots of Jin's face is disproportionate to the number of lines he sings in those early songs. I'm glad he found a way to turn that "visual" designation into a lighthearted, goofy jest.

V had a hairpiece attached in the front that he was supposed to cut, but he cut too much and actually cut his own hair as well. He was quite upset. This was fun to watch with you. BTS was a whole different vibe at the beginning. I love their early music. In K-pop, every new release is a comeback no matter how long it's been. Jimin was the "sex symbol" of BTS at the beginning. He, at first was embarrassed but later embraced it because he said he liked people screaming when he showed his body. He worked hard on it 💜👀

This song was my introduction to BTS, on a late night music show after going out, from there it was more BTS. It is still one on my favourite BTS songs.
I also love the older BTS stuff, their tough look and more aggressive songs. That’s why I love Run BTS, since it grabs back a little to that too. The members themselves grinche a lot when the look back on these shoots. 😂

I completely agree that this is their metal. I will always be a metal head in this life & through infinity, which I am in my 50's now. It's just BTS is now woven into to my sonic tapestry. Check out Lies Behind Your Eyes who covered BTS's Fake Love, if you haven't already found it. They perform half the song in metal fry vocals & the other half similar to how BTS does it. BTS did a reaction video of their fans covering their songs. So, they found these guys & really loved it!!! Dude, it both gave me goose bumps & made me weeeep. This reaction video with yours & an increasing amount of other metal heads falling into the Bangtan Universe, made really not give a **** what people thought about it from them being prejudice or hateful. All of BTS are killer performers & artists.

Ahhh I love Danger! I have a BTS RUclips playlist for when I write notes at work and this is always first on my list, even on shuffle, and I just love it! Such a vibe 😂 This MV has always seemed to reflect the start of the storylines for the BU - JK destroying the piano, Taehyung with his inner demons, RM on his own and not sharing his struggles (tattooing his pain)… etc. I know it’s not officially BU but it seems like BU inspiration could have been drawn from this.

The lyrics, and all of their expressions emanate anger. I can literally feel it vibrating off of them through the screen to me. Not always pleasant, but very well done. I absolutely love your reactions. Now that you have done Danger I think you would love the battle between BTS and Block B. It was awesome!!!!. It was a help to get more exposure for BTS. RM and Zico (leader of Block B) did a wicked song together as well called Fuck Cockroaches.
I just wanted to say this as others have said but at the end when Tae cut his hair he actually cut some of his real hair and he was so embarresed about this that he got shy. Also the MV for Danger is amazing as always and the choreo is on point like always. Also the vocals and raps are just so powerful in this song and also this is a side note I love this emo type era of JK.
I would take over JK's part of the mv. When I was in high school we did something called "Car Bash", it was to raise money for the school. Anyone who wanted to participate paid a certain amount of money and were handed a 5lb. sledge hammer that we then used to destroy a donated car. I thought the administration was insane for doing this, allowing a bunch of teenagers to do this, but damn it was fun.

JOHN: BTS did a collab with a famous Asian singer named Thanh, for Danger. It's one of the earliest videos and it's worth the watch. It's titled: [MV] BTS(방탄소년단) _ Danger (Mo-Blue-Mix) (feat. THANH) It's dark but because Thanh sings it in English the lyrics really hit you. It's just really interesting. You could do this video with the danger dance practice.
I'm sure someone's already explained the comeback system, but here we go. Unlike US album releases which can have on average 1-4 singles spawn from it, kpop usually does one single per release. And first there's the debut, but every release after that is a comeback. Then there are the comeback stages, like the live you watched. Think of TRL, but instead of the top MVs airing, the acts are performing them in the studio, sometimes along with a bside song. Except I don't think it's live. Ive heard stories of people having to perform over and over and over again. And then people vote on their favorite, but there's more that goes into deciding the winner than just votes. And then the winner will be competing the follow week against that week's new releases. Also, because I believe people perform multiple times, if you're a new group from a new label, you may not be able to perform. The companies with more clout but also a bigger following, will get priority over those who don't. BTS when they were first starting out were in this predicament, and I believe they only got to perform because someone else canceled. But even then, it took several comebacks for them to finally win at one of these shows.

I love V's deep voice! In the old songs of bts V he used his deep and raspy voice but unfortunately in the current songs he does not use his usual voice and they force him to sing with a tone like jimin or jk because KPop likes that tone of voice more than his from V (voice like Tae's is used a lot for rapping and not for singing). It's a real pity!
Tae uses his deep voice all the time, what are you talking about? Besides, there is nobody on earth who could force them to do anything, they do what they want when they want. Someone can *suggest* they sing in a different tone or whatever, but the boys are at liberty to choose whether or not to comply. Apologies if I'm wrong, but this reeks of a victimizing solo narrative. Taehyung is a grown man who uses whichever voice he pleases, not what he's *told* to do.

This band started making a type of music that was forced to change when one of them started winning awards with a song. The same happened with V. In the first albums he used his raspy and deep tone more because it went with the music that was made and now they make more music that Kpop likes more where more high-pitched voices are used. And when one speaks of "force" it has nothing to do with age (which is an adult) or that they put a gun to your head.

Taehyung was something rare because in Kpop baritone's singer are always rappers. So at first they didn't know what to do with his voice. That's why he has to learn to sing a lot in tenor range too.

I would take over JK's part of the mv. When I was in high school we did something called "Car Bash", it was to raise money for the school. Anyone who wanted to participate paid a certain amount of money and were handed a 5lb. sledge hammer that we then used to destroy a donated car. I thought the administration was insane for doing this, allowing a bunch of teenagers to do this, but damn it was fun.

JOHN: BTS did a collab with a famous Asian singer named Thanh, for Danger. It's one of the earliest videos and it's worth the watch. It's titled: [MV] BTS(방탄소년단) _ Danger (Mo-Blue-Mix) (feat. THANH) It's dark but because Thanh sings it in English the lyrics really hit you. It's just really interesting. You could do this video with the danger dance practice.
Jimin was doing the same too - singing in a deeper, raspy tone and dancing heavily; he had a bigger part in this song.
I'm sure someone's already explained the comeback system, but here we go. Unlike US album releases which can have on average 1-4 singles spawn from it, kpop usually does one single per release. And first there's the debut, but every release after that is a comeback. Then there are the comeback stages, like the live you watched. Think of TRL, but instead of the top MVs airing, the acts are performing them in the studio, sometimes along with a bside song. Except I don't think it's live. Ive heard stories of people having to perform over and over and over again. And then people vote on their favorite, but there's more that goes into deciding the winner than just votes. And then the winner will be competing the follow week against that week's new releases. Also, because I believe people perform multiple times, if you're a new group from a new label, you may not be able to perform. The companies with more clout but also a bigger following, will get priority over those who don't. BTS when they were first starting out were in this predicament, and I believe they only got to perform because someone else canceled. But even then, it took several comebacks for them to finally win at one of these shows.

I love V's deep voice! In the old songs of bts V he used his deep and raspy voice but unfortunately in the current songs he does not use his usual voice and they force him to sing with a tone like jimin or jk because KPop likes that tone of voice more than his from V (voice like Tae's is used a lot for rapping and not for singing). It's a real pity!
Tae uses his deep voice all the time, what are you talking about? Besides, there is nobody on earth who could force them to do anything, they do what they want when they want. Someone can *suggest* they sing in a different tone or whatever, but the boys are at liberty to choose whether or not to comply. Apologies if I'm wrong, but this reeks of a victimizing solo narrative. Taehyung is a grown man who uses whichever voice he pleases, not what he's *told* to do.
@@StarlightStella613 All time? Is not true. In their first albums, the music of bts pointed to a very different direction from the current one. This band started making a type of music that was forced to change when one of them started winning awards with a song. The same happened with V. In the first albums he used his raspy and deep tone more because it went with the music that was made and now they make more music that Kpop likes more where more high-pitched voices are used. And when one speaks of "force" it has nothing to do with age (which is an adult) or that they put a gun to your head.

Taehyung was something rare because in Kpop baritone's singer are always rappers. So at first they didn't know what to do with his voice. That's why he has to learn to sing a lot in tenor range too.
