Scottie intentionally "tried" to change the narrative. Instead of taking responsibility for
    1. Signing a bad, long term contract, when Jordan made vastly more money - in NBA salary - by "betting on himself" and signing a series of short term contracts. and
    2. Sitting on the bench during the playoffs when the game winning shot was called for Toni Kukoc
Scottie Pippen blames racism for his bad decisions.

MJ contract was terrible, until 1996/97, and 1997/98, but he still won 4 MVPs/fmvps with it, and Mj never tried to renegotiate, until he was a free agent. What Mj made himself worth off the court, Pippen had a better opportunity than Mj to do the same, because he had MJ next to him, making him popular, and MJ had no one on the Bulls, or UNC or 1984 Olympics, equal to MJ that Pippen had in popularity.

I’m sure Scottie isn’t reading these comments, because I’m sure the man doesn’t care, but I think I owe him a sort of “General Fan Consensus” of what he is to sports fans, basketball fans specifically...
Scottie... You’re one of the all-time greatest. Deserving of being a top 25-50 player. Well deserved! You are a 6 time NBA Champion. Of all the players you played with, you played with Michael Jordan. You have to accept that!
But this next thing I say is important to understand... Could you win without Michael Jordan? No. BUT!!! Could Michael win without you?? N-O! At the end of the day, you both needed each other. Neither of you has the legacy you have without the other. If Michael doesn’t have you, then LeBron is the definitive GOAT. But if you didn’t have Michael, then you wouldn’t be the top 25-50 player you are. So stop the whining, complaining, and resentment towards Michael. Set the record straight in your book and in interviews, but leave the bitterness out of it because everyone loves you and it isn’t a good look on you.
Regarding the Phil Jackson/Toni Kukoc incident... Is Phil a racist? That’s a SERIOUS thing to call a white person. So serious that he can sue you if he wants. You better be 100% sure and have definitive evidence to back that claim up before you so publicly make it. He went to Toni Kukoc, and Toni nailed it. And Toni might have been a NBA rookie, but he wasn’t one and you know that! The man was a greatest of all time European player before he came to the US. It’s insulting to him for you to say he only got the ball because he was white and not deserving. Stop complaining about the incident. Us fans simply looked at this as an isolated incident and a passionate player that wanted to win. We didn’t look at it as you being a non-team player. But what you’ve done is elevate it to this uncomfortable and dangerous level now. Stop it.
In regards to Michael and Steve Kerr... He DID end up going to Steve when it came down to it. So maybe that wasn’t as staged as you thought. Did he make sure the cameras were there? Maybe. But did he mean it? It appears so, dude. But also keep this in mind... You’re bitter because Phil didn’t go to you (because he’s racist, as you said)... but Michael didn’t go to you with the game on the line either... Just saying, dude. The proof is in the pudding.
We love you, dude. Everyone EVERYONE that talks about MJ says there’s no Jordan without Pippen. Sorry about your son. I can’t even imagine losing one of my children. The grief must be out of control. Get some time away and think twice about the ramifications of what you say in your book before you release it.

    • @auntiez4917
      @auntiez4917 3 года назад +1

If Pippen didn't play with Jordan, Lebron would be the definitive GOAT??? Really?? Lebron is NOT EVEN the definitive GOAT in his own era! Why do you think Pippen was asked about KD? Because KD is arguably the best player in this era - not Lebron. When MJ was playing - no one was asking anybody about any other player - period. It was MJ and then it was the rest. The fact that you got 5 people to like your ludicrous statement is beyond the pale 👏!
Lebron had to run around the league and team up with multiple superstars to win his rings. Even while teamed up with other superstars, Lebron has UNDERPERFORMED. Further, Lebron would NOT have been compelled to team up with superstars to win rings if MJ would not have won 6 rings - so your argument is ridiculous. And before you talk about the 3-1 comeback to win a ship vs Golden State here are the facts: LBJ avg 28ppg and Kyrie avg 26ppg during that series! Pippen was never that kind of batman to Jordan in terms of scoring. NEVER. Truly, LBJ would not have won that series without Kyrie. Kyrie even hit the series ending shot. I'm tired of people even TRYING to compare LBJ to MJ. It's freaking ludicrous 🤷‍♀️. LBJ can't tie MJ's shoe strings. Period.
Please stop putting Lebron in the same sentence as MJ. He is no where near the caliber of player and competitor that Jordan was. If there was no Jordan there would be no Lebron teaming up with other superstars to create the easiest path to win (just so that he can be compared to the GOAT - MJ)! JUST PLEASE STOP!!!!!

Dan Patrick gave Scottie PIPPEN a fair segment letting him speak his mind ETC..
Everyone wants to know about this book coming out in the Fall,
Dan let Pip talk and discuss what's on his mind after 20 plus years about the Last Dance and other Bshit Scottie is drunk and raving on about

Dan hates isaac Johnson. All I need to know. I hope he apologizes to his family and many others who blow their knee out and get pushed off the court in a wheelchair

Seriously doubt what Scottie pippEn said!! Dude was probably a little tipsy and was anchored to say certain things to make him look a certain way to create a NOVELA for the sports world to have something to talk about.....he obviously had an issue with Phil never asking him to take a last shot and felt some kind of way.......but I highly doubt he was in the right state of mind......these guys need to relax with that nonsense

scottie was being racial, not racist. DP bated Scottie and he fell for it. trash media. scottie knows Phil isnt racist.

Noooo he wasn’t baited. Scottie could’ve disagreed with what he said. But he didn’t. Scottie was hostile. Scottie did in fact state that he thought Phil made decisions based on race. He even repeated it.
