Two things about IKEA.... MEATBALLS AND HOTDOGS!!!!! I loved it when our IKEA opened up where I live in Germany.... our dishes, silverware, TV cabinet, bookshelves and a side table came from there!!!! Such a GREAT place!!!

Just to let other collectors know I just checked Disney insiders and their was a lot of movie club stuff popping on, some may already be gone but with today being the last day to order of the club I can see a lot of stuff being moved over to insider starting tomorrow
When I was In college my entire apartment was IKEA furniture and today my house is probably still about half. Idk I really like there shelves and tables 🤷 😅 .. Great Video 👍

I disagree since vinyl record collectors like me love IKEA's KALLAX shelving units that are very heavy and sturdy and are tailor-made to house vinyl records perfectly. There's a lot of other useful and comfortable IKEA furniture I love as well, so it's all a matter of taste and what suits one's particular décor or design aesthetics. :)
A female fiancé has two e's (fiancée), not one "e" which is the male version. As a Canadian and thanks to learning French, I know these sort of things. ;)

Totally agree with Danielle on her thoughts on IKEA furniture I'm not a fan other than the bookcases for my gameroom. Though grey colours 🤔 😅 . That cup Danielle had was huge . #nomoreikea

What? Say it ain't so. Haha! I love IKEA, but yeah, the multiple boxes and assembly times do take their toll. Plus, the composite wood materials weigh a lot, so shipping makes far more sense than lugging heavy furniture out the store by yourself and causing unnecessary injuries.
As someone with a fairly large vinyl record collection (3,000+ records) and lots of vintage audio/video equipment, I love my IKEA KALLAX shelving units for my records and my BESTA TV console units that are perfect for my 75 inch TV and various audio/video equipment. I also love my two white-fabric KLIPPAN low-back sofas for their comfort and nice clean lines (No puffy couches or cold leather sofas for me, thanks.).
Since I also collect vintage large original theatrical movie posters as well as vintage tribal African art (masks, shields, sculptures, spears, etc.), I find the modern look of IKEA furnishings to be ideal, but others that have more traditional or conventional tastes will naturally prefer non-IKEA furniture and décor. To each his or her own personal tastes, of course. :)

I agree that IKEA is just particle board furniture, but I disagree that IKEA is simply for students or first-time apartment owners since I love my IKEA furniture which I've had for many years now and since IKEA has a lot of useful shelving units and other stuff. Granted, not all of it suits everyone's tastes and people that prefer more traditional or better-made antique furniture won't care for the stark midcentury modern look (and there is much better-made midcentury modern furniture out there, of course, that are genuine antiques or heirlooms, etc.).
The KALLAX shelving units, for example, are extremely popular for anyone (like me) with a substantial vinyl record collection and IKEA's large TV console units with additional glass tops are perfect for housing 75 inch TV's (like mine) and various audio/video equipment, so one just has to have some imagination to find IKEA pieces that are genuinely useful.

You can't go broke or as broke in IKEA when the costs of IKEA furniture are a lot more reasonable than other traditional furniture stores or big box stores. IKEA offers genuine value, but its stark Scandinavian midcentury modern-inspired design aesthetic is not for everybody. :)
