Kourin, from Ultrarare, transfers to Miyaji Academy, and joins Aichi's Cardfight Club. As the club applicants who want to get to know Kourin gather, Aichi's childhood acquaintance, Naoki, appears.

I feel like with Kourin she gets mad at Aichi cause he's not nearly as proud and confidant as he should be, Like she's screaming in her head "Dangit, just realize you're awesome already!"

Yeah, I can see why, but at the same time, Aichi's a very humble person even as shy as he is, which is why he wanted to form the club in the first place, to let people have fun and learn Vanguard. I get why Kourin feels Aichi should be more proud and confident than he comes off as due to his Asian Circuit Champion, but to him, at the end of the day, he isn't only the Asian Circuit Champion, he's just Aichi Sendo. :) It's cute of Kourin feeling he should be more confident due to his status, but i like that Aichi is very humble about it.

Exactly THIS! Personally I feel like it’s a bit ridiculous to think you should be puffing out your chest just because you won a tournament. If the guy wants to be humble he should be allowed to be humble. Aichi *already knows* he is awesome without her pushing him

Kourin should realized Aichi is proud of what he can do as the Asian Circuit Champion, but deep down, he still wants to have an ordinary life that doesn't fully revolve around Vanguard as a whole, hence his drive to want the club to gather anyone to be able to branch out and for anyone to learn Vanguard and have fun.
@@CombatSportsNerd To be fair Vanguard is more popular and probably more globalized as a competitive but also an everyday played game, also since it's pretty much a regional tournament, anyone should be proud being the Asia circuit champion but not boast it openly... But yeah I see ur point but damn it! He won a friggin regional tournament and became the champion like 2 months in the anime damn it! Aichi should realize by now how cool he is!

In the original kourin was not called by miss tatsunagi they were friends before the club.
It's mostay due to this being based on the manga rather the original anime.

Also you have to change the ending credits to the new version as well. The footage no longer fits with the story if you keep using that old video...
Messing with the Openings and Endings is a big pet peeve, and I wish Bushiroad kept them the same for us dub watchers. :/
They've started doing this since the G-Era seasons started. My best guess is that the company that's been dubbing Cardfight!! Vanguard doesn't really want to buy the rights to use When Destiny Calls and Everyday Climax either to save money or contract details.

i find it funny that they're calling him out for bullying aichi when we see him turn down an offer to join in with it because it was "too boring" (as a side note, i've been a victim of bullying for the majority of my time at school and i just tune out the bullies for being too boring)
It's just peer pressure. People love to try to force others to do something to their own liking just because they think they'd also have fun, like how Naoki was being asked to join in bullying Aichi just because the other kids were jealous at how smart Aichi is due to his reading a lot. But still being considered involved even if he wasn't just because he did nothing sucks for sure with Naoki.

Great episode, but like everyone has been saying if they should still put the Second Season opening song in the Dub even if it's in Japanese. Use Subtitles for both the opening and ending and boom, we're golden. Speaking of ending, they do need to change the ending since Season 1 is over.
In the end it's not a big deal whether or not we get the new songs in English, not everything needs to be dubbed so please update the next upcoming episodes with the new songs, please!

Well, Naoki is in my top 3 characters. Thinking about what would've been if he first played Aichi instead of Shin. And why didn't Aichi challenge anyone alongside Kourin the way he did in Link Joker?

@@xtrlsidmaAnd the fact Kourin felt people needed to take Vanguard seriously to “belong” in the club too, while Aichi just wanted people to have fun in the club, which is why he was glad to give pointers continuously to challengers Kourin took on. It was just a huge mess but it was fun!

Wow. To know that I gave praise for having the original opening song played last week, only to come on and see that it’s back to using the English song again. If any higher power can please answer why this happens, please let me know. This isn’t G anymore, and this isn’t the old series.
it seemed like ultrarare themselves were singing last week, so they probably used the Japanese version to make it fit

So much cut from the reboot makes some things less impactful. Like kourin is just a random celeb now, misaki turning him down didn't account for much as they were only officially on a team once.. R.I.P. Q4 lol. Felt like a real betrayal in original after 2 seasons of teaming together and growing

for people who are saying "they should just leave all the songs in Japanese!", i'll have you know that it is likely due to copyrights and licensing issues just because RUclips is available worldwide instead of just in Japan (i.e. Bushiroad probably has to pay much more to have it available worldwide, but there aren't enough views on dub to pay for this)
