I decided to put up this scene because it contains so much feels...Can't help but somehow cry/feel some emotion in this scene, no matter how many times you watch it.
The music score was well matched in this scene. Evokes a lot of emotion and awesomeness!

This scene is just too good, especially after not hearing him say stand up my avatar for a whole season. Getting to hear that as part of the climax just fucking SLAPS

When Believe in My Existence played, the hype in those first two seasons was unparalleled. You knew shit was about to go down, couple that with the return of Blaster Blade and this scene is just so damn good. The chills.........

Yeah and he is the commander of the Royal Paladins then the Gold Paladins until Legion where Percival (Bluish Flame) took the position when BB left or was kidnapped by Void in this case taken by Kourin. Also, Alfred's right hand from the lore of Alfred early and Ahmes (Blaster Blade).
All three legends are commanders. BB for Royal/Gold, BD for the Shadow (United's assassination or the equivalent of what Danzo is running) and DO for Dragon Empire's leading attack army which is Kagero.

It's been 10 years since Cardfight Vanguard's debut, there were many new characters and unit, yet i'm still loving Aichi x Blaster Blade. Such a amazing moment.
I remember about 2 years ago I was rewatching the anime, and for some reason I cried during this scene when the song started😅
Back when Vanguard had good art, good animation, a good plot and a good OST. I know season 2 was basically just 40 episodes of showing off a new product, but it was still more entertaining than most of what we got in V and the Shin Anime.

@@TheOverlordEND overdress the anime is alright so far. In terms of a story there's basically nothing there yet, but in terms of animation it looks pretty breath taking for the most part.

@@TheOverlordEND Overdress is 10% card fight and 90% yaoi. I enjoy the animation and the characters, but the story is meh so far and the card fights suck they don't animate to much units. I get it that you don't have a big buget for longer fighting scenes but at least give us a villain, a goal, tournaments, spicy stuff.

At the top 4 card of the deck, one of them is glowing. Glowing card doesn't mean it's Blaster Blade Spirit. Take a look at 2:08, Did Aichi holds a glowing card one from what we mention earlier? He pulled THE TOP ONE still and just to tell you that glowing one is Platina Ezel.

But what about the CB? After Ezel's CB 2, there should only be 2 face up in dmg but when Aichi uses BB skill, he CBs but still has 2 face up cards in dmg.

For those that don't know about this Blaster Blade Spirit and Blaster Dark Spirit....are both in their each respective clan that is Royal Paladin and Shadow Paladin...but their cont skill is this unit is also considered as a Gold Paladin Unit...so this allowed them to be mixed
it wasn't a rule back then anyway, that was a recent one, alot of old cards you to have the effect their skills couldn't be used if all your units wheren't of the same clan.

Blaster blade spirit is part of ezel series while blaster dark spirit is part of spectral duke series.
doesn't matter because back then you could mix clans, when the rule that you can only use one clan was introduced they added that effect to it
Just to help out with the top comment, the skill is called "LORD"
Compared the original vanguard and g series. the original vanguard far more exciting and fun also the match is not finished so fast...
and what's more,the character in the original usually won't crit sack so much,they usually win using skill,not "luck" ,remember the first time chrono play vg against kamui, kamui have 3 dmg that time and chrono just stride one time and “poof”,3 dmg to kamui and he lose ,i hate the g series not because of nostalgia ,is because it never show a "true fight",you rarely see a step by step ,detailed fight in G ,they will just said"Ride" ,"Attack","Drive Check" and just let the animation do the job

The original was shit Character wise tho, Atleast G has a good cast. Everyone in Original Critsacked just as much too, they just put it as "We have special powers" or "We have a special bond with a unit". Villains were shit too, Only one who wasn't complete ass was Evil Ren in S1, who even then was mediocre at best. G actually has Villains who have goals that create an interesting story and don't contradict their goals. The only real villain in G that was a letdown was Gyze. G has actual character development for characters not in the MC's team. Hell Kanzaki did a better job for S1 villain than Ren and he didn't even need mystical powers. Leon wanted to revive the Aqua Force only for the Void to take over the world and destroy the AqF again, Essentially negating any kind of goals he had. Evil Takuto was fucking terrible, Kai was even worse, The other Reverse fighters were probably the only thing that made LJ good. Legion was shit from the get-go. People can't look past nostalgia and its actually killing what small portion of VG players that watxh the anime left.

Khpro Gaming G's had plenty of deck building, not so much opening packs. Chrono atleast is his own Character from the get-go, Unlike Aichi who until midway through S2 was heavily influenced\Borderline obsessed with Kai. Aichi may have lost more, but Chrono's wins make alot more sense if you think about the fact that besides a very select few people in S1 of G has completely no idea what GC did, while he atleast had a badic understanding of what their clan did. G actually made interesting characters with amazing backstories that isn't "My Parents are dead and this is how I cope". Chrono actually has goals besides winning X tournament of the arc. Aichi until shit went down halfway through Link Joker, Which again was just his obsession with Kai. I'm not even gonna waste my time on why Legion Mate was shit.

This is an example of shōnen done right. So many shōnen gave random out of nowhere power-ups during their climax fight but Aichi brought in nostalgia and pure emotion in his. We need more things like this in shōnen over bs random powerups

Agreed, the main grip I had with the original series is that it made Aichi's Avatar a Grade 2 and not a Grade 3.
