Grazie mille! Lo spero anche io perché le poltrone sono ormai vecchiotte, anche se sono state rinnovate nei rivestimenti, e la cabina in termini di pannelli e tende provengono dall’epoca Etihad. Sono proprio curioso di vedere cosa hanno in serbo in ITA per i nuovi interni.

I hope with all my heart that ITA - which I actually enjoyed when I flew home last christmas MUC-FCO-BRI and back - will keep the Alitalia livery, with the white fuselage and the iconic A in the Italian flag colors on the tail.
Unfortunately, the Alitalia livery will disappear soon, as ITA already started to paint their former Alitalia aircraft in the new blue livery.

Our best fight were Melbourne catania was 747 Alitalia many times best food smooth flight allays been flying for many years lot's of different airlines to me hands down Alitalia was the best until they stop coming to Australia yes we did catch the smaller plane from Abudabi but wasn't the some then wish there can get back to glory again

So little legroom. I flew Malpensa to Catania in February on Squeezyjet, and there was rather more legroom. I'm 1,92 m tall, so I doubt whether I could endure a flight with such cramped space. As it is, 1.5 hours is about as much as I can manage!
The little legroom in the aft cabin is due to increased legroom in the fwd cabin that can be converted into Business Class. This means that the aft cabin is sacrificed. Also, the old style seats, which are not slim like the latest models, do not help.
I work for MSC USA and we are very excited about this new venture which we were told will also operate in conjunction with MSC Cruises in the Med and US markets.

Wow nice trip report! Unusual runway 26 landing but stunning views of snowy Mount Etna and clear skies! What do you think of the new ITA airways livery? I think it’s hideous, Alitalia’s was way better…I’m gonna miss it! Still looking forward to seeing the new A320 neo’s and A220’s with their new interior cabin though. Ciao!

Landing on RWY 26 is actually not so unusual actually and runway change can occur even during the day, so it’s quite difficult to guess which side, left or right, you should sit to watch Mount Etna. I usually sit on the left side, but this time I decided to risk and sat in the right side, and did the right choice.
I actually really like the new livery of ITA Airways! It’s easily recognisable and reminds to “Azzurri” teams. I would have painted the ITA logo on the tail, instead of those meaningless symbols. Or at least the same logo painted on the engines.
Me too, I look forward to seeing and flying the new ITA aircraft soon!

Premesso che in tempi così un report aeronautico aiuta ad alleggerire senza mancare di rispetto, grazie per esserci come in altre occasioni dei mesi scorsi.
Per quanto riguarda questo report, lo trovo come sempre preciso ricco di dettagli e spunti, insomma si segue volentieri.
Hai incontrato difficoltà nella fase di prenotazione, oppure rispetto alle prime settimane ora è più scorrevole ?

Faccio del mio meglio per rendere questo periodo più "normale" possibile, continuando a volare appena posso e a condividere con tutti le mie esperienze, soprattutto con chi magari non ha la possibilità di volare così assiduamente.
Riguardo alla tua domanda, no, assolutamente non ho trovato difficoltà. Il sito è praticamente una copia simile a quella di Alitalia. Mi turba solo il fatto che il programma FF Volare non sia ancora riconosciuto dalle altre compagnie Skyteam e viceversa.
PS: ma dai, sono davvero passato sopra casa tua? XD
@@NikiSvaizer Abito a Piacenza quindi ho la fortuna di avere come riferimento sia i 3 scali di Milano, che Torino a 2 ore di treno ( come quelle che impiego per MXP), e l'aeroporto di Bologna 😊

Yes, even on Alitalia you could have only water or red orange juice. I would avoid to drink alcohol if possible in the air as it causes dehydration.

Soft landing
The A320 looks a bit shabby to me, not a good start for ITA.
The other airlines (like Swiss) offer a much better product!
Swiss does not even offer juice for free, first of all. Furthermore, you should know that Swiss didn’t take one day to introduce their brand from Swissair and Crossair, but it was a long process anyway. Remember that Swiss started their operations using Swissair and Crossair aircraft, so what’s the difference with ITA?
Why everyone is going against ITA? Give them the necessary time to build up a new reality from the old Alitalia.
