Make sure you are subscibed because the next trip reports will be amazing! P.S. little spoiler: American Airlines b777 and the fantastic a380-800 of British Airways. I will also fly on the last flight with the Alitalia livery and travel from one side of America to the other on an American Airlines A321
Too bad Bombardier nearly bankrupted itself developing this as a clean slate design. Great shot of the mostly composite and advanced alloy wings. Those babies absorb turbulence like no other wing out there. You could really see that during landing, the wing tips were flexing like they were made of rubber, all while you were perfectly level in the cabin. And your shot at 13:25! You can really see how dihedral (upwards swept) they are. This also makes for more stable flight as the wing tips are well above the center of gravity of the plane. And those engines.. wow those engines. Designed for this aircraft and Mitsubishi's "SpaceJet" (the later lost 1.9 billion trying to design an equivalent plane before they gave up and canceled their program). They are the first geared turbofan in the world. Did you hear it switching gears as it prepared for take off? Sounds like a whale call. Oh and what you can't see is part of what you can't hear. Brought from Bombardier's Q400 turboprop aircraft, noise canceling speakers built into the fuselage to cancel out external engine noise. Great plane that C-Series turned out to be. And I'm even OK with calling it an A220, although all the aircraft flying in Europe are built at Bombardier's plant near Montreal, Canada.
Would be fit better alone and become a top player in the European market. No airlines should purchase it. As long as this is financially sustainable, but all the prospects seem to be.
@@benedictuswinner3995 according to the EU, the deal is getting be postponed later and later but the airline seems to be still there. If they won't grant it, the italian gov should simply keep on investing on it.
Hi, I experienced on the 28th december a flight with the same airplane Ei-HLA ON lcy route from lin, but we came back to Milano cause a hydraulic problem…so I couldn’t land in LCY…a dream for a aviation geek…Ita allowed us to take flight to LHR in the same morning. I didn’t appreciate Airbus 220. I think that it’s clear that it is not an original Airbus project.
Thanks for this video! I was really curious on whether or not English was spoken on this flight. Do you know if Linate Airport has a good amount of English speaking staff?

Beautiful video. I was mainly interested in how full the planes to LCY are. Can't wait to use that A220
they usually have a good number of passengers depending on the period as with other flights 😊 especially now that ITA has left Heathrow
Guys please remember to LIKE ... it is easy to forget
Klm does not operate E195 to LCY.
what is the app or the program that you use at the beginning to show the two cities connected by an airplane ?
Mult.dev
E190 is also able to land. King regards KLM FA
This airline is too good for Lufthansa group, Would fit better on Air France-KLM
ita airways it's a freebird :D

Air france is pure trash. Classy, but trash
@@jacopomainoldi9025if they are not purchasing it, they cant survive until now and will be gone forever

Is there the wi fi on this airplane?
yes, but is 10$ for all the flight
they serve only orange juice or other drinks too? for example beer or wine?
No, they didn't serve any type of alcoholic beverage. They serve also cola, coffee, green tea, water and other type of juices.

Landing at London City Airport is a unique experience. You would have liked to land there!
Thanks for this video! I was really curious on whether or not English was spoken on this flight. Do you know if Linate Airport has a good amount of English speaking staff?
No, I don’t know, but I guess the ground staff have no problem to speak English
absolutely! Milan Linate Airport was declared best airport of europe also for the amount of language spoken by the staff in the airport!
How big are the overhead bin spaces on this plane?
Overhead space was big enough because you can put your luggage vertically
👍👍👍👍👍😂😂😂🤪🤪🤪
Sei italiano vero?
