Onboard one of ITA newest aircraft! EI-HLE on the date of recording just 7 days since its delivery from Airbus in Montreal. So only a handful of flights under its belt. The boarding began about 30 minutes behide schedule. We were all onboard and taxiled at our booked departure time. Very good going, especially for ITA. This was actually needed, as we'd got a strong headwind most of the way back to the UK resulting in a 1 hour & 29 minute flight time. So despite the early departure, just about scraped an ontime arrival into LCY. A very quiet flight, only 32 passengers onboard I could see. So lucky me for me I had a lot of extra room.
Nice views on departure from RWY36 at LIN. Just about visible are both City & countryside as we climb. Later on we pass over Switzerland. A few air to air shots of other traffic. The French airspace, before descending into a lovely day in London City.
