    I completely agree: the art isn't too bad at all. Many people who complain about early One Piece fail to see the context that is the time it came out and how much of an effort it took to produce it compared to modern digital pipelines. I always invite people to look at the way the shots are composed and what little details are animated before judging it. It is old and nostalgic in feel, but not bland nor bad.

      i'm quite enjoying it, for the age the direction is great and at times it feels like im watching a really well done pop up book, and while in modern days that idea would come across negatively. I believe what I have seen so far to be a peak version of what I mean when I say pop up. The pastel backgrounds really give character, but the characters gives the scenes life.

    All the sound track is original for one piece. So if you heard it somewhere else, it came from here. Probably on tiktok or RUclips, people use the ost fairly often.

    I really love how you caught that the marines telling them to leave was the kindest thing they could do for them! Too many people are indignant about Luffy and Zoro getting kicked out.

    Luffy really did Coby a favor. He spilled the kid's beans, so the Navy wouldn't have to dig into his history, and egged him on to prove Coby wasn't a pirate. Smart.

    Yeah Zoro was way more ready to join Luffy in the anime, but I also like the more reluctant version of the LA. By the way his friend's name was Kuina.
    Luffy stands out really bad because the East Blue is like the safest Blue, so the ordinary people are not used to the craziness. 😂

    I think Cobys farewell is well better done in the Anime than in the liveaction.
    btw before i forget, it's always good to watch 2 or 3 Epiosdes at once, mostly if you keep on with that, you always have a good connection. BUT another very Important thing, whatever your watcher tells you about One Piece, like skip fillers or bad pacing, one pace and so on, just ignore it and watch everything in this show, you only get the full experience if you really watch everything :) trust me ^^
    And you also can belive me , that all One Piece fillers are very good and tells you a lot about character development and so on :D. So as i said Just Watch EVERYTHING, you 100% won't regret it :)

    Idk when it is but at some point there will be pairs of episodes that go together ending in even numbers. So you’ll probably want to get out either 1 or 3 videos to get back on that timing.
    Im sure someone will come to correct me if Im off or with the specifics

    The good thing about Koby punching Luffy is that it breaks the potential for savior worship/equalizes their dynamic a bit.

    90% of the things that you say WTF about, becomes relevant in the future! Very little is added for no reason at all unless it was by the animators and not in the original story

    Without really spoiling anything you don't already know. The only "groundbreaking" difference between the anime and live action is really the injection of Garp that early into the story. He is shown briefly in the anime/manga... but you don't find out Luffy and Garp have any connection for another roughly 300+ episodes. His character archetype is also a kind of different but I don't want to go into too much detail. Unrelated to Garp, there's plenty of other smaller changes as well, but they're only relevant to the East Blue saga. 👍

    I love how you're really perceptive. You get the characters. As much as I really like the live action, it's more of a fanservice and a love letter to the fans (and love letter to the series). And I watched mostly because I loved the actors' dynamics with each other 😁😁😁 But I will pick the manga before anything else. Then anime then live action.

    A bit of advice: Try avoid watching the titles as much as possible. Some of the titles can be spoilery as hell.

    Okay, i googled it, there's almost 200 Devil Fruits been shown so far (if you also count non-canon ones, from the fillers and movies).
    It would seem that with such a huge number of superpowers, hard to come out with something new, but no, Oda continues to come up with new Devil Fruits, and the fic writers also manage to come up with something unique, that wasn't been in the manga...

    Just a correction Buggy was never called "the Imortal". Nami says "the souless Buggy" (its not a title) but Buggy is always called "Doke no Buggy" (道化のバギー) which means Buggy The Clown.

    • @PaintedReacts
      @PaintedReacts  11 месяцев назад

      That's weird, I just went and looked back at the scene where I saw her call him "Buggy the Immortal". She in that version specifically says
      "The man known as buggy the immortal" It was right after, So I guess what you're saying is the translation was wrong is all?

    • @euclides9156
      @euclides9156 11 месяцев назад

      @@PaintedReacts In fact, Nami says "Fugimini no Buggy" (in japonese "fugimini" write as 不ぎみ) that can be understood straight as "inconvenient". So, kind I was wrong too in use "souless" (LOL) But yes the translation was wrong. But don't worry... Its pretty commom this kind of mistake. Japanese words can carry several meanings depending the phrase.

      And also, you really should listen to Zoro's Theme from anime.
