Watching you open the oven and paint while holding the baby - you make me remember not to make excuses! I've been struggling with laziness. Thank you for showing your everyday life with kiddos! I'll be having baby #3 after 4 miscarriages early next year. Please keep baby and I in your prayers!
Prayers for you to have a safe delivery and healthy baby. I feel the same about being lazy. I have one child she just turned 3 and we just found out I’m pregnant with baby#2 after a miscarriage last yr around may. Which is when I’m due about. So I kind of thought that was nice that God seen how I felt about it even when my husband really didn’t want to talk about it etc because it was right at 4ish weeks and I wasn’t 100 sure I was right but I knew in my heart. I know my body and just knew like I knew with my first and with this one. I think people underestimate a woman knowing her own body. Prayers for us both to have strength from the Lord in this season. ❤😊hugs
Yes!! A true mama uses EVERY part of her body to complete a task while also tending to children. So many people have EXCUSES. I COMMEND you.❤ I’ve been subscribed for a while but THIS video has me hooked. Beautiful children by the way…AWESOME blessings. Tfs. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon.🤗
Love watching your channel. I too am a RN and agree so much with your approach and thoughts. Love the makeover. I gravitate toward sage green, cream/sand and blue. Keep speaking truth. God bless you and yours from South Africa.
I started with a stark white kitchen, then i tried doing everything cream, now I have the same tone of green and I FINALLY enjoy being in my kitchen! I love the change! ❤
After reading The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. I believe the gray was popular to depress people. They only used gray in concentration camps. Corrie and her sister said if they ever get out they would use lots of color. Looks beautiful!!!❤
perfect timing lol i had just finished watching your how i built my dream home video. i love the kitchen. the blue and green with the white looks really beautiful with the sun shining in.
The green is inspired 😍. Also been watching for the past few months. Your sourdough experiment video made me finally start my sourdough journey. So thank you 🥰
I am the same way! My sister is the opposite of me with color. She is obsessed with Teal and anything that SPARKLES. When I do go to her home it's after we meet out for dinner so it's dark in her home. She does not turn many lights on which is fine with me because of the LOUDNESS of her color. She is also obsessed with the PLUG IN air fresheners. I asked her why she would use them with the brand new house smell she had before she ruined it with artificial scents. She said she never thought about new home smell. Well it's just like new car smell, but different. OH WELL to each his own. I can say I love all your colors in your home and totally enjoy all your videos! I wish I could watch one video from you every day! xo Nancy from OHIO
I painted my bottom cabinets yellow (top kept it white), not even a soft buttery yellow but a YELLOW yellow, and I absolutely love it! I wonder if it’s not anxiety inducing because it’s not eye level. I absolutely love how the green goes with your wooden shelving. Your kitchen is my dream!
Doing all the walls really pulled it all together. The remaining white and touch of blue blends beautifully. I loved the one wall but it just wasn't enough. I always need to tape. Nice work.
I used to do the No poo method with baking soda to wash then I’d mix some ACV and doterra wild orange just to cancel the smell out while I was in shower 😂 I definitely need to go back with this method and do it again. I told my homesteading mama friends to come over and we would let the kids play and paint my cabinets! We do butchering parties so figured why not do some homemaking projects together!
@2:05 I literally painted our whole open plan living, dining lounge kitchen area this color green with white accents for the trim and door frames and doors, and you're dead right! It so warms and softens the house and makes it so enjoyable to live within that space! Coming from a rural crop farm in Mid North South Australia...also those earth tone greens, reds, dust browns and gunmetal blues are a national symbol of our dry landscape, rough and rugged and beautiful 😍
Green is my favorite color and I love that shade!! Just had my outside of my house painted a light Sage with Dover white trim!! Also I only wash my long thick hair once a week. I’m going to try to go longer. I never heard of a wet brush so I’m going to try that instead of my normal conditioner.
Your kitchen looks so beautiful and rich! that color makes the natural wood pop! Gorgeous thank you for all you do to get these videos out! very inspiring God bless you and your family! All glory to God
Just ordered the hair vitamins & multivitamins hope they work, my hair & skin need help 😅 Tks for the extra discount ❤ Ps the kitchen color turned out great 👍🏼
I have a warm yellow kitchen, and love it! I've never heard of yellow causing anxiety in a kitchen 😆. Maybe the power of suggestion played a role in feeling yellow would cause anxiety.
That looks beautiful! I did some spaces a very similiar color of green and I loved it so much I got carried away and painted almost every room that color haha
I love the green in the kitchen, I’m also wanting to paint mine green. I have a bit more of a project on my hands, as I want to strip down some old wallpaper which has been painted over many times.. oof. I’m excited to tackle this project next month. Thanks for the motivation ❤
Dear Steph, your kitchen is what kitchen dreams are made of! The new colour addition is absolutely gorgeous. It seems to add some depth, and looks just so good! Also.. I wonder - I think you may enjoy some of the artwork by Swedish artist Carl Larsson, if you are not already familiar :) Thanks for sharing a piece of your home. Best wishes
I can’t remember if I mentioned but Claritas publishing is a memory work program that goes along with story of the world. I think you changed your history but not sure. It is a group of Protestants and Catholics that came together and it’s similar to CC but they wanted moms to be able to do it at home without community. It’s been great for us. I have the streaming service cross seven that goes with it! So I don’t have to wheel out a white board anymore for all of it bc it comes with booklets and the tv service. Just wanted to share because it had been so helpful for us! It has 9 memory pegs and more Bible stuff than CC IMO.
Liked the advice about hair care; might try the vinegar and water rinse. Like most girls of my generation (grew up in the 70s) I developed an obsession with washing my hair every chance I could as soon as I hit age 12, because having hair that was even slightly oily at the top was considered gross and nasty; also I got told a couple of times by other girls at school and by my older sister, who was a bully, that I had “greasy” hair and should wash it more, so of course that was enough. I washed it every second or third day and would have washed it every day like many girls I knew if I could but my mother forbade it, not because it was bad for my hair but because having long hair I would take so long washing it I would use up all the hot water!😂 Well, fast forward many decades, I’ve since become a lot more relaxed about my hair and wash it only once a week, brush it a lot, and it’s healthier than it was when I was younger, and almost as thick too even though I’m now well past menopause. Not the same color it was of course, but I don’t mind that. I still prefer it long-ish. I’ve learned over time that we’re meant to have some oil in our hair and oil doesn’t mean “dirty”. Unless you’re in a foul-smelling environment every day (like a smoky bar or restaurant) there’s no reason to wash your hair daily.
I love that paint color; it looks so good! Is there an alternative to ACV? I’m allergic to apples and I can’t use anything apple-related, not even applewood. Also, what brand of jeans were you wearing in the beginning of the video? They’re so cute.
I agree with what you were saying about hair, the oils, etc... except for, we do live in a fallen world, so our bodies aren't perfect in performance... we do have to help ourselves... which you are, but some people literally use zero in their hair, and the scalp does need to be cleaned off at least. 😊
You make me laugh , I was exactly like you, working with babies strapped to me, I still use my feet as hands too. I also carried my twin grandkids , one front one back, I was in the supermarket and the hardware store , created a lot of attention, hey a girl has to do what a girl needs right 🐨😂. My own kids loved it especially outside . They could sleep thru any noisy environment, anywhere. Your kitchen looks great 😊
Ive had a forest green kitchen for 20 years. I’ve loved it but looking into a remodel and thinking of going grey. Just a neutral palette with splashes of color in decor. Just very simple and minimalist for the next 50 years! 😂
Ollie's has gallons of paint, good brands, Rust-Oleum, Sherwin Williams and a few others, if you have one near you. We just got one in the town I live in, and they're $9.99-$15.99
I only wash my hair once a week! It’s nice and healthy. My daughter just cut 9 inches off her thick brown hair. I love the shoulder length. You can still put it up in a bun. I personally think you would look great in shorter hair. Easier to take care of.
Grout pen is great for smaller projects and somewhat thinner smoother grout. Give it a good normal cleaning first and have at it. I used a dry paper towel or rag to wipe overage. But on coarse thicker grout it was annoying ha
I agree, they don't go very far for the price but do work. I'd say you'll need 4 just for what's behind the stove area. I have 12 x 12 tiles on a small bathroom floor and that took 3
Do you notice any reaction from your baby while taking This supplement? I’m breastfeeding our almost five month old little boy and the postpartum hairloss is still happening. I’m on my journey to a healthier living and phasing out any junk from our foods. I’d love to start a clean vitamin supplement!
I know that vinegar is good for hair though that’s a very simplistic view on shampoo and conditioner and how they work! 😅 Everything is a ‘chemical’, not just the ones in ‘conventional shampoo’ so the principle is the same.
I had five babies, I carried all of them all the time just like this. I never fell, they never got burnt. She is just fine. She’s not going to do something that will put her baby in danger. Women have been doing this for generations. ❤
HAPPY WEDNESDAY IN SEPTEMBER. Love the kitchen and the color paint. I have been watching you for a while now, and I have looked on your blog, instagram and I do not know your name. Thank you! I’ve been wanting to try this. I use the MR omega 3 gummies and love them. 😊
I was just wanting to order this! I’m glad I saw this. 🤗 I came here to get the name of the paint you used lol

So sorry for your losses. Do you think it’s true laziness or some grief and fear? It sounds like you’ve been through a lot this year.
Prayers from me as well.
Prayers for you expecting momma's. May God bless and keep you safe.
The green seems to make it look calmer 😊

Your environment can definitely make or break your mental health. Every little bit helps so bring on the paint!
That baby is so in love with you! The way he stares at you while you're talking is PRECIOUS!
Cooking and painting with that sweet baby on your back 😍 Killing it, Mama!
Love the green walls!
The green definitely pulled your kitchen together. Looks great!
Love the paint color, it looks great!
The way your baby looks at you while you talk melts my heart 😊 obsessed over his momma ❤
Love watching your channel. I too am a RN and agree so much with your approach and thoughts. Love the makeover. I gravitate toward sage green, cream/sand and blue. Keep speaking truth.
God bless you and yours from South Africa.
I love the green but in my opinion I think the blue cabinets would be beautiful in green
Love that green in the kitchen!!
Your videos bring me such peace and joy in a chaotic life. I enjoy watching them every time you post❤
That color looked beautiful on your kitchen, it brought the cozy/ relaxing atmosphere to such a busy kitchen!!! ♥️
The green looks great.

Love the green with the blue cabinets 😊
I jotted down the color you are using because I was going to do my front door a nice green color. Your kitchen looks so inviting and warm. love it!
The green matches well with you pendant lighting on the island
Doing all the walls really pulled it all together. The remaining white and touch of blue blends beautifully. I loved the one wall but it just wasn't enough. I always need to tape. Nice work.
I love your home decor and personal style.
I love the green! I’m glad u left the hood vent the light color, looks great!
I love that green in the kitchen sm❤
I love a good paint makeover! We recently repainted our master bedroom and it feels like a completely different room. So cozy and peaceful.
I’ve used the grout pen and have no complaints!
This color looks amazing!! Great choice.

oh I love that colour you painted to walls Stephanie, it really makes a big difference and is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge also xx
Thanks for sharing some of your home school stuff.
Love this going to redo my living room soon so you gave me some inspiration! ❤
You transformed your kitchen and can now see all your treasures you have collected ❤

Yes! I've used a grout pen and they are amazing. I'm pretty sure mine was white and it perfectly cleaned up decade old bathroom grout 😊
Wow I love the sage green in your kitchen. ❤
Would you mind doing a video on skincare and makeup you wear and/or recommend? Love your videos!
I already watch your videos twice but now with the new kitchen I’m going to watch them 3 times 😂 it looks AMAZING!
Your kitchen looks so beautiful and rich! that color makes the natural wood pop! Gorgeous thank you for all you do to get these videos out! very inspiring God bless you and your family! All glory to God
Just ordered the hair vitamins & multivitamins hope they work, my hair & skin need help 😅 Tks for the extra discount ❤
Ps the kitchen color turned out great 👍🏼
This was a great birthday present. Thanks, Steph!!
What is your living room paint color? I am looking for a warm white!
I think a gray or darker grout would look so good!
I have a warm yellow kitchen, and love it! I've never heard of yellow causing anxiety in a kitchen 😆. Maybe the power of suggestion played a role in feeling yellow would cause anxiety.
I think that may be it! I still have my heart set on a nice warm yellow somewhere in the house!
That looks beautiful! I did some spaces a very similiar color of green and I loved it so much I got carried away and painted almost every room that color haha

Clean your grout with pink stuff or whatever cleaner first then dry it and the grout pens work amazing
Which style of Ergo baby carrier are you using? It looks so supportive and comfy!
Swap the framed art work over the stove to the bigger blank wall and hang the smaller framed piece there. Just an idea :)
Loved this🌱💚
My husband just started his own woodworking shop, building custom floating shelves.
Try a local saw mill for shelving. You can usually get larger sizes for great pricing.
I love the color of your kitchen. How often do you cut your hair. ???
I can’t remember if I mentioned but Claritas publishing is a memory work program that goes along with story of the world. I think you changed your history but not sure. This might sound weird but I’ve found that toilet bowl cleaner works best on my grout to get it white again.
Black grout will look great

What is the blue color called that is on the cabinets?
You make me laugh , I was exactly like you, working with babies strapped to me, I still use my feet as hands too. I’m wanting to paint a color green also. Do you mind sharing what color and brand this is?
TIA😊
Could you share the blue paint color on your cabinets?
💕Love all your videos

The paint color looks great. You should go antiquing for a huge eye-catching painting to go on that "ugly wall."
Love the green, so beautiful. Also, what color is the blue cabinets?

My kitchen is a very similar color❤❤❤
You could get some wood cut and buy brackets very cheaply for the shelves
Do you also use the no shampoo method for your kids?
You know I’ve always thought an old vintage hutch would look so amazing on your “big ugly wall”. Love your videos BTW
Do you notice any reaction from your baby while taking This supplement? I’m breastfeeding our almost five month old little boy and the postpartum hairloss is still happening. I’m on my journey to a healthier living and phasing out any junk from our foods. I’d love to start a clean vitamin supplement!
Lovely💚
What carrier are you using?!
Hey Steph, off topic but I noticed Wild deodorant has “seed oil” in the ingredients. Is that ok?
What baby carrier are you using? 🙂
I know that vinegar is good for hair though that’s a very simplistic view on shampoo and conditioner and how they work! 😅 Everything is a ‘chemical’, not just the ones in ‘conventional shampoo’ so the principle is the same.
I have curly hair I can’t brush like that after washing and especially after it dries 😮
I used mary ruths but unfortunately they didn't want to disclose the 3rd party tested. I found that sketchy 😬
What baby carrier is that?
L❤VE your videos so sweet baby in the background ✌️😊🩵I love how your kitchen looks
I’m so glad you didn’t go with the butter yellow! Although so beautiful, not for the kitchen 😂
Ha! I commented before you gave me a shout out. Love it! Love you! I just got paint too. We’re always on the same wavelength
I love your videos, but I am concerned about you getting on the counter with the baby. What if you fall back?
Wow. I never ever would think that as I watch her open and close the oven with her feet. I think she's fine or she wouldn't do it.
Geeeez people leave her alone . Pretty sure she can do whatever she wants with her own baby.
I had five babies, I carried all of them all the time just like this. I never fell, they never got burnt. She is just fine. She’s not going to do something that will put her baby in danger. Women have been doing this for generations. ❤
I was told yellow is a deter color.

You could just throw up some easy floating shelves in that space until you guys can get someone to build you built ins.
Love your multi tasking using all working limbs lol. Only women can open ovens with their feet while holding a pie and a baby.
I like seeing your homeschool board. Kyrie eleison! Lord have mercy! We just did Hammurabi's law today.
Isn’t your husband in construction?
I reckon he could manage some shelves for you😂
