- This was my experience through Army Basic Training! I know a lot has changed since then but I know a lot has stayed the same during the trainings as well. Hope this video helps out in any sort of way, enjoy! :)

I tried my best 🤧 and yes man! I wanted something to look back on for my kids or family to be able to read the journey
No family day?!? That is the absolute worst. Respect to all you guys who had to go through something like that, I know that wasn't easy. Sucks you didn't get to celebrate with your family after completing your Basic Training
Yea man it definitely sucks not being able to have my family to celebrate with. Missed a lot of cherishable family stuff.

Haha I had buddies with that contract, made it through everything and still didn’t get selected
Dang you have a very interesting Basic Training experience lol 😂 Seems like you are one of the first people in the Army who had to go through basic with Covid precautions
Oh yes most definitely I was one of the first one's to go through it. Had a lot of stuff cancelled because of Covid but oh well life happens unfortunately

I’m leaving to basic tomorrow for fort Jackson
My son’s gf just arrived there 3-4 days ago .. she just called home with her scripted read off saying she arrived and she is safe and that’s that .. god bless the armed forces.. with respect and honor I salute YOU

@@jalenjude4530when I went through basic training the battalions and companies were named differently and I noticed on the map of fort Jackson many of the buildings the old dorms we lived in have been torn down you'll notice them now is empty patches of grass on Google maps but the entire fort for the basic training area was almost remapped and rebuilt in its entirety in the early nineties
We should do a comparison video sometime on different memories because I'm quite sure so many things have changed
