This looks delicious with the addition of the Rotel and the fact that you seasoned the chicken well. I think jalapenos could be a tasty add-in for a little bit of heat. I will be making this for an easy Sunday dinner. From one Texan to another Texan, thank you for sharing! 💖
Adelaide, South Australia; Australian here....I too always break the spaghetti in to about 3 or 4 divides....I also do it when it is still in the package just makes it easier and less mess....
I got the ingredients today to make chicken spaghetti and looked up a video to see if I had all the right stuff lol. Came across this video and GOOOOD LORT!!!!!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 I'm getting dinner started now so it's ready to go. This is one of my FAVORITE dishes!!!! And yes, this fellow Texan breaks the pasta in 3rds too. 😂😂😂😂 only for these type dishes though. I leave it normal for regular sketi.
I’ve made this for years and add sour cream instead of cream cheese and I use velveeta cheese. My recipe was given to me back in the 1980’s from a south Texan woman.
i break mine in 3s, yes it’s easier to eat🎉 love chicken spaghetti … I have to make mine gluten free so I have to make my own cream of chicken mushroom soup, and a grain free pasta, I’ll be using cassava flour pasta by Jovial
I was taught to boil the water first an to never put salt in cold water in a silver pot. The salt will ruin an your pot will be pitted on bottom. I break the noodles cause I like the noodles to be covered in water an easier to stir.
I am curious I have noticed in many TV shows etc that Americans often use paper/disposable plates. Can anyone tell me if this is a normal regular thing in the US ?
For me, I never use paper / disposable plates. Even when I have large family gatherings I don't. For one thing food taste better on a real plate, I also don't like adding to land fill. I have a dishwasher to do the dishes. After big gatherings it may take three loads but that is fine with me.
I just subscribed and read about your daughter. I send lots of healing through the universe for it to go away and never come back.
Thank yoU!
born in Texas and now 77 and never seen any Texas woman break spaghetti - this is one of my fave dishes

Just made this tonight. It was a hit. Very good!! Thanks

for video I do love a silicon spoon to scrape on glass bowls and to dig out cream of chicken soup from cans.
5:27 - 5:34 We Do It Because It Fits In The Pot Better...And Yes, It May Be Less Messy For Children. Texas!😊😊😊
LOL!

It's funny - My mom only broke it for this recipe - and I do the same.🤣
This looks so good! I’m going to make it this weekend! Thank you!
Enjoy! There are about 3 other chicken spaghetti recipe variations on the blog, too!
@@MaryeAudet-RestlessChipotle oh nice! I’ll check those out. 🙂

Same! Just for the chicken spaghetti. Must be a Texas thing?
Never had this before, however I am going to make it looks delicious 😋
I like to had cream of mushroom, l have tried with cream of chicken. Looks delicious 😊
Thank you!
Made it! Put the wrong bag of pulled rotisserie chicken in the mix (resulting in half the needed chicken)....still awesome.
So good!!!!!💗💗💗

I’ll bet some broccoli flowerets would be good in this!
Not traditional but definitely good!

Have you tried it with velveeta cheese? It’s so delicious.
I have and sometimes I make it that way but this is my favorite. :)
Love love love ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
You guys are so funny.
But the recipe looks great I can almost taste it though the phone ❤😅🎉
Thanks!
Going to make this a one pot dish tonight I'll see how it turns out with out baking.
David I've done that... It's not as good in my opinion but still yummy.
No chicken broth used?
nope.
Back in the day I boiled the chicken and then cooked the spaghetti in the broth. This recipe came out in the late 80’s
I was taught to boil the water first an to never put salt in cold water in a silver pot. The salt will ruin an your pot will be pitted on bottom. I break the noodles cause I like the noodles to be covered in water an easier to stir.
Aluminum will pit. Stainless steel and enamel won't.

Quite normal

Is this written anywhere?
the recipe is below... and you can click on the link for the printable recipe
W h y put it in the oven
It heats it through and melts the cheese on top.
They break the noodles so it is easier to incorporate the ingredients.
Thanks!
It's spaghetti, so why do you call it noodles?
I so wish these RUclipsrs would give us printed recipes.
All you have to do is click on the link and get the printed recipe. It says so right in the description below.
I put sausage in mine
But then it's not chicken spaghetti. :)
Hi u taken to long to make this this is a 15 minute meal ♥️😥
😂😂😂 yesssss
Get a colander
I break my spaghetti in threes, it is easier to manage on da fork
I really want to make this but I don't want to watch a video 17 min long....😮
Then go over to the blog and read the recipe there.
Too much fluff in this video. Way too looonnnggg 🙄
It's easy to find someone you like better. :)
I like the breast meat better, I don't like the way the thigh meat feels.
I use breast meat but lots of people prefer thigh.
never broke the noodles
