My son hits off pitching machines fine ,coaches fine .He got hit by a kid and that was it never hits anymore . He backs up and opens up if a pitch comes inside. Tried to teach him it was better to get hit turning in rather then opening up.He pitches now is 11 and throws 60+ averages 8-10 Ks a game. Still scared at plate .
Did anything you do help him get back into the batters box? I have an 8yr that was hit in the mouth 1st at bat of the season and 7 game later he still hasn't played a single inning and is VERY afraid lf being hit again. Me and his father have tried throwing numerous batting sessions with him and nothing seems to be helping and he was 1of my Top x2 players. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks in advance

I bought my boy a chin piece for his helmet and elbow protector, and it gave him that little more confidence he needed to stay in the box.
I need some tips because if I’m tackling guys that are bigger than me I tend to get nervous or doubt myself that I can’t do it so hope you have tips

He gets in the box .Stands at the back of the box but I think time might help .
@@androidbox3360 tell ur son to treat every at bat like bp. It’s not the pitcher that he scared of or even the ball. He’s just in his own head
