I owened one back in 1980 , a 1972 model , man I totally miss that automobile , even then it was a head turner , did wonders for my personal status and self esteem. Classy and powerful , hope to Owen one again. THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE MEMORIES JAY , JUST BOOSTED MY DAY 💯 PERCENT.
I am the proud owner of a 1973 Riviera by Buick, Boat tail. It is a Burnt Coral color with a cream top and is in its original condition. I genuinely appreciate the power and smoothness of the 455 engine.
Yes sir it's definitely going to be a very fortunate and blessed person out there who ends up making the purchase on this first class boat tail Buick Riviera really enjoyed looking at it or should I say staring at it
Super awesome Riviera!!! _lol at (__6:23__) - now you know you're dealing with a professional car salesman when he starts to say (by habit) that a clip-on cupholder that you can buy at any convenience store for a buck is an "optional" accessory, haha!_ _Should make a blooper video, that would be too cool!_ 😆
The Rivieras of the sixties and early seventies were works of art that were pretty far out there as far as styling went. These particular ones were radical-looking; you either loved them or hated them. This is as nice an example as I have ever seen, especially with the console. I have seen very few of them.
Holy batcave thats a cool american legacy thanks Jay grams president of volo cars and russel for perfect photografy from Tom your friend now and always 😊😊😊
That's a really magnificent Riv... But if it were mine, I'd lower it only about 2 inches... I think it'd really set that car off. I think I'd also ditch the 80s steering wheel and replace it with the earlier three spoke, wood rimmed wheel. Otherwise... I think it's absolutely gorgeous.
At $57,998, adjusted for inflation this car cost less than it did in ‘73 (without that gorgeous side modification). The boat tail Rivieras didn’t sell as well as the previous generation… the design was seen as over the top… even for the wild ‘70s, but like many unusual designs it looks great today, IMO.
Volo is a great place to visit and dream about your favorite car. But they have become way too expensive for what they are. So enjoy a visit and buy somewhere else.

😢😢😢😢😢 I want it 😫😫😫😫😫
The boat tail was NOT THE MOST ATTRACTIVE. I think the 1966-1968 was the sleeves and most stylish design.
Just saw it sold. I can't even watch the rest of the video. I'm sick to my stomach. Well, congratulations to the new owner. Jerk !!!
WOW! What an absolute beauty! That car is as close to being a museum piece as I've ever seen! Someone will be very happy!
What a cool Riviera. These cars had so many unique features. You would never find a nicer one. Thanks Jay!
Thanks John.
Always liked these cars. Great lines. The boat tail reminds me of the 63 Vette
I'm pretty sure that Shinoda had something to do with the design of the Riviera... He was the Mastermind behind the '63 Vette.
Absolutely automotive jewelry, the man who built this and that little car was a master craftsman beautiful museum piece.

My absolute favorite!!!
Holy cow,what a Beauty!!!!
Thanks a lot for showing this gem.
Greetings from Austria 👍👍👍👍👍
It has a custom split front bumper that looks fantastic!
For a tribute car, spot on! Love the boat tails!!!!
Perfection at its best. Always loved that style Buick.
Jay it is truly exceptionally unique these types of rides you just don't see them around. If it were mine I would drive it with pride and care
I owned a '70 Riv for years - never drove a car so fast in my life!! Sure wish I had that car today!
Yes sir it's definitely going to be a very fortunate and blessed person out there who ends up making the purchase on this first class boat tail Buick Riviera really enjoyed looking at it or should I say staring at it
What a gorgeous car!! Would love to have the 1971 or 1972 version.
Masterpiece.
That right you said it the best with one word masterpiece ❤
Never was a fan of this year Riviera but now I can appreciate it in comparison to what the car companies are putting out on the roads now.
WOW what a classic!
Unique DESIGN !!!!❤
I had a gold ‘73 with the cream interior. Car was such a pleasure to drive.
I had a '71 Riviera back in the mid-80s (I was 23), so cleaning the inside of the rear window was a challenge.
The spear looks beautiful but it needs full bumper but still the best

Absolutely gorgeous. I had a ‘71 and ‘72 Riviera. Was never a fan of the ‘73 until I saw this one
I loved my 73 Riviera and crave another one. Despite its weight, the 250 hp 455 served it well. Mine had the same growling exhaust note. Someday……..
I have a lot of time too, but I can't make anything as nice as this. Very nice!
Wow!
Absolutely beautiful! ✨
CLASSIC RIV 😁AWESOMENESS
Great car. Classic original legendary car.

Beautiful ride!😎👍🏼
My favorite Riviera ❤

Holy batcave thats a cool american legacy thanks Jay grams president of volo cars and russel for perfect photografy from Tom your friend now and always 😊😊😊
Would love to see the 63,64 or 65 models of the Riviera's, don't remember seeing any advertised here.

I can just about bet that this rare Buick Riviera rides like you're on a cloud
You just can't beat the look of the iconic rear end. The only thing I don't like is the modded front bumper.
I hate that front look.
The way the car is presented is very good condition and would then be good As New car and would please as museum standard
The vacuum advance hose is disconnected.
Woow, how beautiful.., and the Price
is really low..." 👌💫👍
It's awesome
Museum CAR !!!! 😮
Bliss.
Most of the car badges could be made on a 3D Lazer printer and brand New
I Need this CAR! lol
I need to win the lotto too but it ain’t gonna happen.
@@mrknotthall lmao
Come to Cleveland OH
Why does it sound like that 😮😮😮
THIS is a dream car for me. I'm just one lottery ticket away. Please don't sell it for a few days.
If the car was mine i would not sell it i would like to keep it for my self
Volo is a great place to visit and dream about your favorite car. But they have become way too expensive for what they are. So enjoy a visit and buy somewhere else.
Needs an exhaust or manifold crack corrected....these should be whisper quiet.
Marked up 37000 dollars
32k kills it
Sounds to me like crap it sounds like it's out of time when he took off for a test run sounds like crap fix the exhaust
Carb may be misadjusted, or timing is too low. I had a 72 and my engine ran like a Rolls
Thought these things were "thoroughly inspected" in the shop.
Sounds Good, slight tune needed.😅😮😅
The front bumper is messed up. Keeping it original would be a good choice.
Ps big as a spaceship, uss yourktown, 😊😊😊
“USS Yorktown”
@mrknotthall yeah aint she big and gourgeus
