  • My favourite church in Krakow is not one of the big tourist-y churches close to the centre of the city, but rather St Joseph's over on the Podgorze side of the river.
And beyond the church there's the wonderful Krakus Mound, from where you get a simply stunning view of the city. But getting there is only easy if you have a good sense of direction, and on my visit my sense abandoned me, and I got quite lost. Check out the video to see how!

So you visited Kamieniołom Liban - Schindler's List filming location with some gorgeus remains of the set like fake matzeva grave stones and didn't even notice? 😜

@@CloselyObservedWorld Glad to help. If you look for unusual places to see in Cracow, I highly recommend visiting Zakrzówek (beautiful lake inside abandoned quarry) and some places in an hour distance from Cracow like: Ogrodzieniec Castle (The Witcher filming location), Pustynia Błędowska (Europe's biggest desert), Ojcowski Park Narodowy (rocks, trees, views and one great castle), Tyniec Benedictine Abbey at the Vistula river. Let me know if you wish to go there next time, I can join you. ;)
