2017 CFP National Championship, #2 Clemson vs #1 Alabama (Highlights)

The 13-1, #2 Clemson Tigers (ACC and Fiesta Bowl Champions) met the 14-0, #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (SEC and Peach Bowl Champions) at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL for the 2017 CFP National Championship. Alabama had defeated Clemson 45-40 in the previous season's National Championship game.

This Clemson team was so stacked with ballers and most of them were underrated. Mike Williams, Gallman, Tanner mf Muse CJ Fuller, Deion Cain, Renfrow, Leggett, Artavis Scott, a young McCloud, Tremayne Anchrum, Wilkins, Clelin Ferrell, Dorian O’Daniel, Ben mf Boulware, Kendall Joseph, Jabril Robinso, Austin Bryant, Tankersly, a young Dexter Lawrence and Trayvon Mullen, Carlos Watkins…. Plus a few others that would turn into absolute ballers in the next 2 years after this. The memories are so good 🥺

This game was amazing! Could’ve gone either way. I think that if Jalen had the ball 1 last time he would’ve gotten that ring but gotta tip the hats off to clemson. Watson put up a hell of a drive at the end

Those two pick plays were illegal. Alabamas’ defense was exhausted by the start of the fourth quarter though. The defense battled hard but was simply put right back on the field way too much in that game. Alabamas offense cost them the title more than anything else.
