I think they should have summoned the Celestials in a cooler way, use the legendary cloak animation AND the sweet, new Weapons of Order like fire animation. Make me feel like I am really channeling the Celestials' power.

I absolutely love monk and always will, but, multiple CAPSTONE talents being associated to our roll is just so freaking weird.
PvP, it's not a big deal tbh for PvE where they are as long as it's in reasonable position but for PvP it's a thing that gives u lots of mobility

I feel like Master of Harmony is better for pugs since you can use it often and it penalizes you less for casting.
But the shield from the Celestial tree is great. Since everyone's health is so high you can give people some consistent beefy shields.
Oh for sure, the power of celestial is definitely high, not denying that, but it's a a tad dull!

I haven't even tested conduit yet. I started with MoH and it's felt great in every heroic I've done so far. When I look at CotC I'm not excited to switch and try it
Considering that today we have 1 m+ playstyle (AT + Chiji) and multiple in raid, both melee (AT and CT) and ranged, based on your first impressions what do you think our options will be. Is casting MW still an option? Looking at the talents seems not.
I don't think caster will break into m+ in a truly competitive capacity until m+ itself changes, but as long as AT+Chiji can do the required healing, we will always go with the option that does more damage (unless you just play at a semi casual level, then honestly caster gets the job done until healer damage matters)
but in TWW, AT+Chiji looks like the goto in m+, and also good in raid
The Yulon raid build looks to still be dominant, with new zen pulse and all the renewing mist talents
Rising mist might come back, or tear, its a toss up until I can test it but I think rising mist might have a higher cieliing
They need more visuals across the board but the good news is all of these things can be added quicker than entire reworks.
I play holy paladin but not sure what the tether is because testing it I have the same feedback for Paladin hero talents - better visuals and sound cues to help drive the theme and immersion
Man, on this one I think I disagree on a few things: The dash on double jump feels pretty smooth to me just don't stand still after rolling you can keep moving while executing the double jump (and you can also choose direction with it).. I do agree on some animations lacking on the celestials all though the Ox one I think is fine and noticeable... As far as Celestial Conduit I don't feel is underpowered I guess it could do more damage but if anything it feels pretty Overpowered, it's essentially a Tranquility that you can use on the move and will top off your whole party while also doing some damage and giving you a bunch of buffs at the end (from summinng the celestials)
Wait, what happened to Essence Font? I used to love that button in SLs..
EF was making mastery pretty hard to balance while also becoming just an extra button/effect in a lot of cases, so they just removed it to amp up mastery! Now mastery just procs off more things and heals more overall!
will ranged healing be a thing in m+? or only melee?
It's still looking like just melee, but I have a video dropping soon testing the caster build! (Spoiler, it still does a crap load of healing, just less damage than before)
The thing is, even now on live, when you are an experienced player, the spec, either the Raid or the M+ builds can become dull after a while and very quickly, but that's true for almost every spec because of how DF's design works, so, i said this to AJack's video the way the game is being designed in regards to classes, i hope we don't have to wait until S3 of TWW for all classes so they are ether complete or even viable to play, we had this with MW S1 and S2 in DF.
I don't think anyone's wanna buy and join and incomplete, especially in that regard, game.
I am likely taking the time off from TWW S1 and S2 and even likely S3 simply because i have noticed this pattern in the last 2 expansions and i am not wasting my money like that.
It's like buying a car to use it and it has no wheels installed and you are promised you will get them later, so in that case i would be like, are you crazy? (in that case to Blizz i mean).

But I am a little bit disapointed that you do not talk about the new mastery impact on our class tree. To me it feels interesting and important to talk about it. I realy hope that mastery become a good stats for monk, juste because I love it... And that's it!

I plan on talking about it! Beta had only been out for two days so I hadn’t gotten a chance to go a mastery build yet and fully test it! But I plan on making a vid on this trust me!

They really need to ramp up the impact visually and audio so that things feel heroic - right now it is much less impactful than MoP. Heroic should feel and look heroic.
Oh for sure, I totally forgot to bring this up! Coming from how explosive things are in mop remix, the celestial coming out is comparatively boring!
Saying that Conduit doesn't change gameplay is crazy.
Heart of the Jade Serpent - Reduces the CD of all your abilities and you control when it procs. You will be able to get an insane amount of ReM in a raid with Heart of the Jade serpent and Pool of Mists.
Strength of the Black Ox - Reduces the cast time of Enveloping and shields 5 players. This absorbs adds up because Ox procs a lot.
Celestial Conduit - Does a crazy amount of damage and healing and its only a 1.5 min CD and procs both of the above.
Like I said it’s not the power that’s lacking here in my opinion! I think this is the stronger of the two, but when it came to actually piloting it, it played just like dragonflight with one extra button
I am not a fan of the new Zen Pulse change either, all it does it adds bloat because you have no substantially real enough agency to it's healing, DFs version is much better, instead of this over-layered version of it in current version of TWW.
As a general principle, most % chance to proc things should be removed from the game, especially in regards to healing, when people are dying (meaning are about to die actually) NOBODY wants to have a chance to save them in a video game (especially in the M+ content/context), rather the agency to be able to do so, AND its failure to be ON US the player, the healer rather than to a coin clip, what kind of shrooms Blizz's design team is still smoking since Vanila WoW by having and placing more % -based procs, i have no idea but i can't otherwise explain how they fail to see how this is a fundamental flaw in their design methodology.
Like, even me is tired on complaining about design choices at this point at this point but hey at least they give the algorithm more chance to have more views to a such a good video like this so, i get to vent you get more views which you deserve so, win-win i guess? xD
I have a bad feeling about the war within. Dragonflight shows they have no clue what they’re doing with healers.
