Only one hero without units was hard but this seems to be impossible.
You went straight from not saying bad things to blatantly lying about your experience and I can respect that.
For those of you who missed it the tree sound at the end was the upkeep change sound.
LOL no way. Just replayed it back - is this really intended or is it a bug they didn't fix? That is insane. It's at 11:16 if anyone wants to check it
@@TheDanzomida It is such a logical sound to use. Like, rather than the old, annoying "Ding♪", this new sound really captures the unique spirit of this small indie company

The scaling of units and buildings is so awkward weird, it really hurts for old players.
So weird that reforged Thrall model uses his post-Cataclysm outfit and look, instead of the Doomhammer armor he's supposed to be wearing during WC3 events... These are like 10-15 years apart in-universe
It's not meant to be accurate to that point in lore. It's based off of a later outfit he wears in WoW.

That's the guy's point - It SHOULD be a skin of Thrall in time period appropriate(and appropriately cool) attire, but it isn't.
@@davidstaley8203 Is there a different updated model in the campaign? I assumed Reforged uses that one for both Campaign and Melee
@@horsemumbler1 Yea but then again you have skins in games that completely change the look someone is supposed to have... it's not supposed to be an 'accurate' look of Thrall at the time, it's just supposed to be a skin. Just like the Nightmare Cenarius one for example, or even Jaina where she has the alternate hair color after Theramore (I think?).
If they’re going to add skins only for a few select hero’s especially thrall and Jaina both having skins from the future they should add skins for each race changing the units up and would help a little with distinguishing ally’s and such in competitive matches.
LMAO when I heard the ancient build sound (and also pit lord sounds before then?) I knew Grubby would lose this challenge (if he hadn't already) 😂😂😂
reforged is the most lol thing ever. Died laughing when the TC came out. Who looked at that and let it go off the shelf
I can't believe how hard it is to distinguish which units were which. Half of the time I thought you were attacking your own dudes!
But despite having the wrong outfit, I guess its pretty cool that Farseers can occasionally be Thrall?

The title alone of this video made me laugh out loud and deserves a like. Considering you blend this in with all the other warcraft 3 game challenges you do

The weirdest thing is the feeling that i am watching a budget copy of the original
The old version landscape looks like a painting while the new just looks like cgi, and feels like a mobile game in the way the units look and act.
They should really do a good 'carbot' take on 'cartooned WC3 reforged' like they did with SC1. I really enjoy that skin replayed the campaign with it.
the lightning shield and purge stuff looked super cool at least.
The hero glow is much smaller and harder to see, I thought that one point the Archmage attacking you was a creep. Too many and unfinished models also like the fountain of Health that look like a doodad and it's also got the wrong size
Noticed it just now, but look at these "animated" portraits. Some of them are just a still model with tiniest jaw movement on voice lines and an ocassional blink. And then open any Dota game and see what portraits look there.
Also, could you see the invul effect at 9:15?
All these orcs look like they‘ve been reimagined as snails and tortoises
Imagine all the people who put their souls into reforged, only to have the biggest wc3 streamer play it as a punishment/challenge :(((

it was outsourced by another company that makes 2nd grade games. why would you feel bad about saying things how they are. if anything blame the people who thought outsourcing it was a good idea, they wanted to save money.
@@fartloudYT They didn't need to save money, they just wanted more money, the 30 dollar tag for a graphical remaster on a 20 y.o. game wasn't enough for them, plus they most surely wanted to monetize it with a store for skins SC2 style.

Reforged models were outsourced to South East Asian companies where unpaid overtime is legal.
People had their souls *_forcefully put_* into reforged.
good deed idea expanding on the free necropolis video: reverse pick pocket items (can be neutral items, shop items, etc) as many as possible onto the enemy heroes without them knowing (e.g. put items in their inventory while invisible)

My take on reforge graphics: I watched this episode through my iPad, which I normally have no trouble with. In this game, I couldnt tell who’s units belonged to which player. So I brought the iPad close to my face, and I still couldn’t tell. There is no color pop whatsoever.
Holy shhhht, i can barely distinguish enemy vs foe vs neutral when they were fighting under fountain healing.
same. But as a casual I have to say that I have the same problem with original graphics. Maybe it needs some getting used to.

honestly the creep in reforged doesn't look that bad i mean yeah the orgres suffer from the samey feel to em like i mentioned in a previous video about the building... but they really don't look bad at all.
i also noticed the the new model for chieftain has two very different attack swings, i think for the scaffolding for the structures needs a recolouring to a more.... lighter coloured wood texture, the fact its the same colour as the greathall makes it almost invisible at first glance.
i think a creep only army using banshees on reforged would be amazing. not only as a challenge since the type of creep depends on the map and the person your against if unknowingly killing what will be your army eventually but also you will be able to get a little more up close and personal to view the models in action.
Most of the units look great individually, but in actual gameplay they can be quite hard to distinguish

Been playing this game since 2007, and honestly, this hurts to look at!
I feel like sarcasm isnt in the spirit of not complaining.

I've had hard times following what is going on because of the graphics

I suddenly realised that the Reforged graphics style is in my eyes much closer to how WarCraft 2 would probably look like, if it was created using a 3D engine.
I think it is more faithful to the roots of the WarCraft series than WarCraft 3, which brought a huge pivot in stylistic direction.
The visual clarity is worse though, which is critical in a competitive environment.
Yeah I never liked WC3 style, it is kind of disappointing because it is so tame in everything it does while WC2 was balls to the walls epic.

Thanks Grubby for putting on these videos so I don't need to play in Reforged graphics to discover how bad they are as I continue to see new things from your videos. I'm still baffled how the animations and building art got approved and passed Blizzard approvals. It looks like they took a crew of rookie animators and said, we have a simple project you can't mess up. You just need to recreate the graphics for it 🤦♂

As someone who only plays the campaign of WC3, I appreciated the Reforged changes a lot but I understand the complaints of ladder players

Did you make some changes to your graphics settings to make Reforged graphics look slightly less bad than when they were introduced, or did Blizzard actually improve it slightly with patches since then (still has a long way to go)?

I'm not sure what everyone's talking abou! I can clearly see what's happening on the screen!! For instance (spoilers) when the MK hurled a stormbolt at the TC! I could clearly see why the TC didn't get hit because he had an invul!!! Definitely visible!!!

I will admit that from a viewer point of view, it's much better watching this than the old crappy graphics. From a pro player's point of view, I understand that the loss in readability can ruin the experience though.
