    Any possibility you can do a short video on the bumper look. Front side etc. I have this bumper and I can not find any pictures from angles that show the over look and I’m trying to decide if I should add the overrider bar??? I haven’t installed yet bc of this I would really appreciate and also get your opinion of bar and no bar bc I’m adding a winch and do not want it to look to cluttered either bar looks close to winch. Thanks so much

      You nailed it. Its a unique build since it seems I get refunds more than I get parts. When sellers find out about my location, they cancel. I am going to get a Warn Evo 10K.

    Have you tried using a high-lift using the holes? Looks like the recovery points would get in the way.

    Trucks looks great, couple of questions.. did you put a lift on your truck if so what lift did you go with? And I think you said you have 35's on there for tires, did I hear you correctly on that? Great videos, thanks.

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  4 года назад +2

      Yes, I have 35's. I did put a 2 inch mopar lift and support parts. I will talk more on that soon.

    Master Mechanic here! You did everything great BUT next time you should make sure you have your jeep running while you connect wires and also have your garage door closed. Makes everything easier.

    Hey there, I installed my RR Full Width HD Bumper on my Sahara JL, but had to remove these bumper support brackets on the outer sides of each frame horn in order for the hoop bar brackets to fit. Did you have that bumper support brackets removed before the video?

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 года назад

      No. I left one bolt in each, swung each corner around the frame horn. Then reinstalled all the hardware. It was like a puzzle to get it all in.

      @@c130aviator Hm. Odd. At 14:17 I see the new hoop bracket getting installed, but the previous existing bumper support bracket from the stock bumper is removed. You can see the bolt hole on the frame member, near where the LED connector is hanging. Also, on the opposite side of the same frame member, at 15:40, the hole from the bolt of the missing bracket on that side is also visible. I had to remove those bumper support brackets in order to fit the hoop brackets for the new bumper. It's no biggie. I just didn't see it in any instructions anywhere. You did good camera work in those tight spaces. In Extreme Terrain's video, you can see the bracket at 20:39. I will post a comment with a link to it. If your filters block it, you may need to look for it in the comment tab.

    Did you notice any sag or loss or height due to the weight of the bumper?

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 года назад +1

      No, the stubby bumper weighed 2 lbs more than tbe stock plastic bumper and the winch weighed 60lbs. When i sat it on the truck I lost nothing in height. I have a synthetic line winch, however.

    You’ve had the bumper for a while. Are you still liking it? I want to grab this on Amazon as they have them, but heard these are discontinued so wanted to grab now even if I change later so I have some besides stock for now. Does the metal seem like it would crush if hit?

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 года назад +2

      I love this thing, so many compliments. Doubt they will discontinue it. Its one of their best selling. Its on many many jeeps!

    • @c130aviator
      @c130aviator  3 года назад +2

      As for the metal its not heavy. For that to not bend it would need to be a quarter inch thick. That would be over kill for a truck bumper. Its just as thick as the rubicon bumper steel.

    • @jasunto
      @jasunto 3 года назад +1

      TewlTalk thanks. I am pretty sure it will work with my Rubicon LED fogs. The only ones I heard have issues are LED fogs on the willys.

      @@c130aviator I just threw this bumper on yesterday. Love it so far. Looks weird without a winch, but should have in a couple of days. Also lucked out. My parts bag had a hole and the hardware was all over inside the box, but seemed to be all there. They are sending me a new bag because I do think one spot needs the lock washers and didnt have enough of the big ones. The crash bars hanging down looked weird so I order their compatible skid plate. Also Rubicons LEDs bolted up directly without bracket as they came out of the plastic, not steel Rubicon bumper.
