You don't often hear of people just doing the ball joint nowadays, they just replace the wishbone. Last time I drilled out the rivets was on a Montego back in the nineties.
Well the thing is. Its genuine Jaguar wishbone and the bushes are perfect. I can't see no point replacing the wishbones at 70 quid each when they are going to be euro specials and probably worse quality than what's already on there. Plus I like to fix, not just replace. It's just me. 😃
I'd like to see the final step of assembling. As for me, I'd loosen or remove bolts securing the wishbone to the subframe so that to get everything together.

Tell a lie.. I did it when I put an offside control arm on the nearside of an Astra, but that's irrelevant.

Reminds me of an BL Maestro , complete pig of a job , in February, no garage of course , Rivets made from Diamonds I reckon
