  • Last year I wrote a book called Happy Mum, Happy Baby. I was overwhelmed by the amount of emails and messages I received in response. I didn't want the conversation to end there, so I decided to start a podcast where I invited others to share their experiences. It was a huge success, so for series two I wanted to progress things and film it too. So every Tuesday at 5pm I'll be uploading the video footage from the podcast here... I guess that makes it a vidcast, but let's not get too technical.
The series will be a collection of frank and warm conversations with high-profile mums and dads. We'll be discussing all aspects of parenthood - the highs, the lows, the challenges and rewards. There is no such thing as the perfect parent. Instead, we’re all simply doing our best. It’s time to stop comparing ourselves and champion each other instead. Each episode will be truly unique yet unifying. No topic is out of bounds, and I hope the podcast and supporting video will be essential viewing for any parent seeking solidarity and support.
A huge thank you to Fisher-Price for sponsoring both the podcast and these videos, who celebrates a child’s uniqueness and encourages parents to just, let kids be kids!

I always liked Angela but after this, I find her even more of an endearing character especially when speaking of the love she has for her daughter. Lovely interview.

This was amazing. I would really like to see Ruth Crilly (from A Model Recommends and The Uphill). She could talk about Emergency C-Sections (I had one and I wasn't really mentally prepared for it, after envisioning this amazing natural birth...), VBAC vs planned C-Section dilemma (I will be faced with this if I ever have another child), infertility... I think she would be an amazing and informative guest and might cover topics that haven't been covered before! Thank you!

Hi Gi. Love the podcast, it's so relevant to me. Right from issues of infirtility, through preemie babies, loneliness of motherhood to mum guilt and anxiety about bringing my son up the right way. I have a suggestion, would you be able to get Ruth Crilly on sometime? She is great, so down to earth and very real. Lots of love xx

I absolutely love the podcasts, and the honesty of your guests. They really are relatable. Would love it if you had a guest on who went straight to bottle feeding or went to bottle feeding after only a few weeks. A lot of your guests have said how hard they found b/feeding and i appreciate that but then go on to say that it’s great after 6 weeks plus, i didn’t get that far so would love to hear some more similar stories so it doesn’t make me feel so bad for giving up.. if that makes sense. As i imagine I’m not the only one in the position. Thanks 😘

So refreshing to see a new mum preparing her baby for separation from her. I’m a ballet teacher & some of my 3-year-old students have NEVER been away from mum & it’s such a traumatic thing for both of them when we take them in to class.

the 1st time the midwife came out to weigh my youngest (of 6), I had just finished breast feeding him and put him across my knee to strip him off, he peed as I took his nappy off so I quickly tried to absorb it with the nappy(my right leg got soaked), as i tried to do that he puked over his shoulder and down my left leg, so I then focused on cleaning up that, he then immediately chose that moment to empty his bowels! Talk about keeping me on my toes.
My 2nd youngest was also tongue-tied, it was fused to the tip an very tight, it really affected his latch when breast feeding which caused probs with weight gain, Drs eventually decided to refer him to have it snipped when he was 6 wks old, it was a bit upsetting but it made a huge difference to his feeding, I could feel the difference immediately.
