We got some awesome dialogue in the comments thank you all! I wanted to clear up a few things:
    1. I wholeheartedly agree with Dimashs message of peace. No matter our backgrounds we should all live peacefully.
    2. I am a Christian and will always use my page to talk about Jesus. I do not force my beliefs on anyone, you choose whether to watch the video or not.
    3. All religions are NOT the same. Christians believe that Jesus is God. John 14:6 Jesus says "I am the Way, the Truth, & The Life. No one gets to the Father except through Me."
We have alot of people in the comments that come from different backgrounds. We can disagree on things but still all love & respect each other. I truly appreciate you all and your comments. God Bless!

I just clicked to see a music video reaction. That was my expectation. I have no problem with your religious beliefs or anyone’s belief. But the end of your video did feel like a sermon and many people agree with this. But now that I know your music video reactions will apparently involve religion lessons (and it is your account and can post anything you want but people will equally be free to react to it as I did), I may skip your future videos from now on….Peace. ✌

I like you accept people all have their own version of the truth in their religion, you have your truth and faith as a Christian, Dimash has his as a Muslim, my mother has hers as a Jehovah's Witness I think whichever religion people follow gives that person hope and I think that's how it should be. Dimash stated this perfectly in his comment on this video On September 23, on the solo concert of Dimash in Almaty we saw the premiere of his song "The Story of One Sky". On September 24, at the artist's fan meeting, the audience saw the clip of this composition for the first time.
Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value.
No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world.
We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven. Thank you for your understanding of other people's faith and God Bless You

I have to stop you at #3. You cannot honestly make a statement like, "Christians believe that Jesus is God," when it depends entirely on the denomination. It is simply not universally true of Christians at all! I grew up Christian as well and I never viewed Jesus as anything other than God’s son and that's because he is called God’s son over two dozen times in the scriptures. He is never called God the son as the Trinity teaches. The Trinity doctrine first appeared in Church writings 300 years after Jesus’ death. The word "trinity" itself is not found in the Bible, nor is the concept of God being three persons in one. The three are only mentioned in one verse of the Bible and it says nothing suggesting that they are co-equal, omnipotent, nor omniscient. While the doctrine is called the “central doctrine of the church” neither Jesus nor any of his disciples taught that God is a Trinity. The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries. This simple fact about so much of what is in the Bible is why it is so often blindly misinterpreted by otherwise well-meaning people---and I have no doubt that you are well-meaning.
Jesus himself said he was God’s only begotten son. To be begotten means to have a beginning, so Jesus had a beginning unlike God who is eternal and had no beginning. Jesus referred to his father as “the only true God” and “my God and your God”. Jesus never claimed equality to God, in fact he specifically said his father was greater than he. Jesus said there were things he did not know which only his father knew. Jesus always referred to his father as God, never referring to himself nor to the Holy Spirit as God. I can lead you to the exact passages which states each of these clearly if you like. It is simply not true that the belief that Jesus is God is a tenet of Christianity.

    • @gametchanger
      @gametchanger  2 года назад +2

@@dougfriendly7676 John 1:1 & John 8:58 clearly state Jesus is God. Plus Jesus' death and resurrection prove He is God. I haven't heard of a Christian denomination that doesn't believe Jesus is God and if there is one I would have to question if they are truly a Christian if they don't believe in the Trinity. The Bible has the Trinity throughout.
      God Bless.

All of the religions pictured believe in a higher power. Whether they call him God, Allah, Yahweh, or an "indivisable union" we all have the same basic beliefs when broken down. We can live together if we learn to live with our different beliefs. Trivia: In Islam they believe Jesus was a prophet, and was born of the virgin Mary, although they don't believe he is the son of God. Issa (Jesus) is the most talked about in the Qu'ran. If you learn about other religions we are the same. Perhaps it is the time, and culture that was given to all to follow a different path to God. We are all the same.

Not to be too critical but I think you may have missed the main message of this video---which is okay because you're not the only one. Dimash is pointing out the fact that all of we humans, regardless of nationality, gender, race, sexual orientation, language or religion live on the same tiny speck called Earth, in our humongous, never-ending universe, and we all share the same sky, and we all have respect for, even worship, whomever or whatever it was that created us---whether we call that entity God, Allah, Cosmic Fusion or something else. Dimash's goal is to bring all religions, races and nationalities together in such a way that war is never an option. It may sound like an impossible dream to some, but it's a dream worth having.

Yes, but I don't think he is suggesting that we give up our own beliefs. The people in the video each carried the symbols of their various religions as they all walked together. I am also a Christian so I do believe that God has shown in the Bible who He is and how He wants people to worship Him. But I think that as you said, people of all religions are seeking God and are trying to follow Him in the way that they believe is best. For sure religions should be working for peace and should NOT be the ones leading wars (as in the past many, including Christianity, have been guilty of doing.) I think it's too bad that we have some sort of "taboo" against talking about religious beliefs. We can get caught up in trying to make others believe as we do which just leads to arguments. As the bit at the end said, "Open dialogue" is better. We can understand why we choose the beliefs we have and we can try to treat eachother as valued family members who have different opinions but still want the best for each other.

The purpose of the video is to teach tolerance and understanding between all peoples so that we can all experience and enjoy peace. He was being careful to include all ideologies and was not making commentary on Christianity. His commentary is dedicated to ending senseless, worthless, wanton war. In the video Dimash is the kid who almost drowned, the girl ends up marrying him and they have a daughter (the one killed by the soldiers and broke Dimash’s heart) and they also have one on the way. The other boy on the beach is the general who uses Dimash’s gift of gratitude of the necklace and turns it into another meaning. It’s hard to catch but at the beginning on the beach the general likes the girl but she rejects him. So he became bitter and filled with greed and wants to split up Waldenberg into “shares”. Not everyone catches it but the three were on the same side fighting against the “other”. So when catastrophe happens Dimash’s loyalty to his cause when the reality of war and the deaths of his family makes him realize that the war is just obscene, out of control rage and destruction that cannot be recovered from. Death is death and it is no longer worth it to keep fighting for it, over what, greed? So now he goes to to kill the general in an attempt to end it by killing the leader, the one pushing for war. At the same time his wife is giving birth and dies and they pass on to the child the friendship necklace of the mother. Which way will he go? Will he follow his dads footsteps and work for peace or will he continue to follow the war, that the necklace is now the symbol of? We don’t know, it is a main point of the video designed to make you think about what war really is. War is a choice,we can undo the choice. The three friends are dead (that’s why it’s called a requiem it’s a mass or story about the dead). The long line of people are harder to understand but clearly are meant to represent all peoples and all religions. I believe that in the end they were to help tell the story of life and death, and that we sacrifice ourselves to do the right thing and they are the dead on their way to heaven (represented as the light). And in the end Dimash joins their ranks as one who was trying to do the right thing and end the war, because like them he chooses life and not all the propaganda used to convince people to enter into war, only to go to their deaths. The themes of morality and how sticky and messed up they can be (like Dimash killing his friend to whom he owed his life) or people justifying war as having to protect themselves (which they do) show how difficult war becomes. How it self perpetuates into an endless cycle of death and destruction. There will always be reasons to fight when your in it but everyone ignores the whys that start it. It’s always about greed and control and taking, and nothing is sacrosanct not even life. Dimash is a peacemaker. He’s not trying to convert anyone from their ideologies, (he was not trying to take a dig at Christianity, it was included in the group of people doing the right thing and on their way to heaven), (and no. I don’t understand the significance of the man falling other than to remind you of the starkness of life and death, ashes to ashes, dust to dust kind of thing to remind you that the flesh dies but your soul goes to heaven), he’s simply trying to take war off the table of options. Because we all know he’s right, we need to be reminded that war is a choice, we really don’t have to go there . Peace is the way of the world, we all believe in it and want it. So let’s do it already.

Thank you for your sincere reaction. When I first heard this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching! 😢
Dimash has worked hard for 3 years on this MV, and it turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts in trying to bring the world together in love, peace and unity. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end; 2) Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end; 3) The young girl, became Dimash’s future wife who gave birth to his son at the end, and Dimash's daughter who was killed by the Piper's army. They were all torn by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Catholicism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through the throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.
    I'm choosing life!! 🙏🙏
See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖💖

Dimash is Muslim but he promotes dialogue, peace, love and understanding. You missed the references to the other faiths referenced in the video - Muslims, Jews, Buddhist and Christian. The procession is indicative that we all leave this earth and walk the path to afterlife. It is not a message of one faith over another, but a message of humanity. I do believe in Jesus, but I’ve read and learned at least that Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all derivatives of the same original prophet. Tolerance and understanding begin when we can understand and respect other perspectives and beliefs. Each one of us has the responsibility to learn about our neighbours and how to communicate with one another. Praying for peace from Canada.

    Dear,
Thank you very much for your reaction to Dimash's newest work. This piece of art shook me to the core, and still resonates in me.
I am not a believer, in the Christian sense (spiritual in the broader sense, but not a believer), because I believe that one can treat one's fellow human beings with decency, respect and charity as equals and care for the world we live in, even without regularly going to a church. In addition, my husband grew up in the spirit of Buddhism - he now hardly practices his faith either. Our circle of friends is motley; Christians, Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Atheists and Hindus, all rather on the liberal spectrum of their faiths.
I don't think Dimash has converted to Christianity, or ever will. Why should he? He is completely at home in his Muslim spirituality and we love, respect and revere him exactly as he is.
Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

Of course, Dimash is a Muslim, and he is not going to change his faith. This video is about other things. Dimash tells us: You can believe in different things, but your faith must lead you to light and goodness. It is a unifying, positive ideology. The procession of travelers is an eternal thorny path to the light of souls who have known and accepted this truth. This is the path of the righteous of various eras, races, cultures and religions (you should not isolate only Christian symbols close to your heart) along the path of redemption. The soul of a warrior through suffering, loss and disappointment at the moment of death learns the insight that the highest value is life. Through this illumination, his soul is reborn in the body of his newborn son, and adjoins other awakened souls. Now he will never be a warrior, he will never take up arms, he will be a shepherd who will feed his flock. Dimash is a Muslim, and the idea of reincarnation is not the ideological core of his religion. Reincarnations in this video are just an artistic technique for conveying the main message - the primary value of human lives.

I thank Dimash. He points out that NO Holy Book promotes death among men. I thank him for his clarification, because today there is a tendency to affirm that it´s the religions that divide us. It's not religions, it's US, men. Dimash shows us in his "One Sky" how we men can completely ruin the meaning of the most beautiful and good symbols. That tender symbol of childhood friendship, one of them transforms it into a symbol of hatred and war... The Nazis wronged the sacerd Star of David, using it as a symbol of the extermination of a race. Some Muslims disregard the Mercy suras of the Koran, transforming them into justification for the cruel persecution of "the infidels". And yes, sadly, some orthodox Christian Patriarch today, takes the Cross, symbol of Love and redemption, to change it into a condemnable cry of "holy war" that is causing countless deaths of innocents... Let's not blame the religions. Because it is WE, human beings, who confront each other, divide ourselves, and it´s OUR OWN DECISIONS that choose the path of hatred and darkness, despising the light of mercy and love. Thank you, Dimash, by heart.

The parts about the people walking in the desert represent the seekers of truth throughout history. These include people from all religions, including as you saw, Christians, represented by the cross; Muslims- reading the Qur’an, wearing the white pilgrim garb; Jews- blowing the shofar, wearing the tallit; Buddhists- the red robes and the “Om…”
They may have to weather storms, they may die in this pursuit, but inward and upward they will go, “following the light”. Notice that they each follow their own truth but they all walk together toward the same light.
    And yes, I’m Muslim too.

The Story of One Sky: A new composition by Dimash Qudaibergen
The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
    If all that wasn’t enough‼️✨

The pregnant woman is the girl from the beach & she is now Dimash's wife & the little girl he found dead their daughter. This is why he killed his old friend as he thought all his family were gone. It looks as though his wife died giving birth hence the necklace put onto the baby who then grew to be leading the people of all nations & religions on the path of peace. Powerful message, powerful video & needed I think. We all turn away from what is happening in the world but need to remember there are many actually living & dying through these wars. All religions & cultures are praising the same God even if they give him a different name & we all live under one sky. I don't know if you know but in Kazakhstan there is a religious building where ALL religions go & pray & practice their religion. I think that is a fantastic thing & all countries should follow that example. Surely that would take away the fear and/or suspicion about other religions. I must disagree with you about wanting others to practice your faith as you do. No matter what religion people follow then, I believe that we all are praising one God so why have a wish that somebody of a different faith should change to your faith? This is part of the problem, we should all live & let live no matter the differences. You say that here but then say it would be wonderful if Dimash became a Christian! He is a deeply religious man who loves ALL people no matter where they're from or how they practice faith, he has said that many times & that's how it should be surely? I don't wish for people to practice my faith, I'm happy that they follow their own so let's stop dividing people for their beliefs. I enjoyed your reaction but had to call out what you said about Dimash. Yes he's Muslim & proud to be, so let that be. Thank you.

Dimash has a heart for peace and repeatedly makes it clear he loves all people. I am also a Christian and you are right, we can tell people about Jesus but they must choose for themselves. If they choose not to or have a different religion as does Dimash, we still love them. As for Dimash, he is Muslim and in this video he was just making a point that we need to be accepting of everyone else be they Christian as are we, Muslim, Jewish, etc rather than hatred. He has called for peace always and I think at the end of this video son born to him grew up and he is leading people in light and not darkness. Today we have a very dark world.

The video, which uses a variety of musical themes and techniques, is the result of Dimash's three-year composing work. The music video is based on a script written by himself.
The clip is divided into several parts. The first is childhood. The main character, his boyfriend and girlfriend are connected by children's stories and symbols of eternal friendship (hourglass). One day a friend saves the main character when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story, because the boys are in love with the girl, and she chooses the hero Dimash. The second one undergoes a kind of psychological destruction and transfers children's problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle.
After becoming president, the Antagonist harbors the idea of a war for salvation:
"Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You have to be strong enough to give the world freedom...."
The main character also talks about unity, about peace, but through the prism of love.
In the process of fighting, he is confused, shocked, but must save his family: his pregnant wife (this childhood girl) and daughter. Once at home, he is horrified by the photos of dead people and realizes that his family is also dead. He moves towards the Antagonist to get revenge. However, his wife survived with the help of people who know that it was she who gave birth to a son who could save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for the whole world. The parallel line of pilgrims consists of people of different religions who are on a difficult path to a place that will illuminate this world. United, they create a common energy in which the son of the main character is born.
I recommend taking a look at the interpretation of the "The Story of One Sky" when it was first presented from the stage at the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Astana (Kazakhstan) in mid-September. One of the listeners was Pope Francis, who later met with Dimash and presented him with a commemorative medal of friendship. ⬇️

The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps.
He composed this song for three years. The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is.
If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews.com
The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation has led him to kill his former friend. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
Btw, Dimash has received an Award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. And yes, Dimash is and will remain Muslim.
    Thank you for your reaction.

There may still be questions about why so many people believe that Dimash is the best? I don't know, maybe only a robot will be emotionless after watching and listening to this video. This is a masterpiece of the century that will remain in history.

❤️ For me, this film mostly expressed how much responsibility we each have to recognize when people striving for power and money distort the true, pure content and message of religions and use them to divide us. For example, when a Christian patriarch, Kirill, announces in a church that men should go to Ukraine, because those who fight and die there are forgiven and go to heaven, or when Muslim religious leaders kill a woman because she does not wear a headscarf. There is no leader who can come to power if we do not support him, if the masses do not support him. If we understand God's most important message to be love, this could not happen.

You tried, young man, and clicked a 'like', but you'll have to watch this video many more times to fully understand it. And to help you, I'm posting below a reading of this masterpiece by a youtuber, which - in my opinion - is the only one so far that explains everything. Good luck, my friend.
“This is subtitled “Requiem”, but it is also a vision and a call to action.
Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the music teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14 at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together”, signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke (and received a medal from Pope Francis for his contributions to the World of Peace) with both men at the September meeting.
Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I’ll only touch on some of what struck me.
1 The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial, while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. In the Music Video, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through, as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers.
2 Contemporary music is also present: with the phrase “We have passed the moment of Imagine”, Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song “Imagine” by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way.
3 The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war.
4 The Piper’s Call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let’s remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against?
5 The burning sign “Waldenburg” is a reference to the end of WWII, when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht to end the war in April of 1945. Many of the dead were women and children, because all men ages 15 through 75 were mobilized. So, the good guys defeated evil, but at what price?
6 The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and life are both sacraments and are interwoven. Dimash’s vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that struck the pilgrims sharply. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the “sacred womb” of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war by choosing life. Dimash’s scream “We’re choosing life” is that of giving life: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as examplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby.
The blowing of the shofar signals God’s mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right.
Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash’s character becomes a guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Dimash is showing us how.
Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology, wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
This is what Dimash has done with this work: he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time.”
We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. This is Dimash’s message to those in power. He urges them to follow their hearts. He tells them that nothing that exists is, or could ever be, outside of God. We are never outside of God - and never without God within us.

Shortly: 3 childhood friends. Piper saves Dimash from drowning. Dimash made friendship amulet to all of them using sun compass needles Boys got crush on that girl who chooses Dimash. And we saw Piper's amulet brokes as a symbol his moral compass brokes. D & girl married and during the war she was pregnat of their 2nd child. First child got killed. Stragers saved his wife. He returns home and finds body of his child no trace of his wife. He list everything. Piligrims symbolizes all the religions and our humankind invited to pray. Dryness, storms symbolizes climate change. There are many layers in this video, references to WW2 and others. In the end Dimash kills Piper, his wife dies in labour, (they meet in the heaven as children like they first met). Strangers take care of his son who herited his mothers amulet (= inner knowledge of right&wrong) and he becomes a leader who connects all the humans and they headin towards the light.Sorry by bad english.

You're a Christian? And you didn't recognize Jesus.? He is the guy you referred to as " the dude with the cross!". This is the coldest reaction I've seen. That little girl was killed and all you can say is pain when innocence is taken? NOT ONE TEAR. Sheeeeesh, unbelievable ! Then you break into a sermon at the end.
GOD guided Dimash to create this video, at a cost of 7 million dollars to Dimash, in order to deliver his message "WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER TO PEACE, & LOVE ONE ANOTHER! Also, ALL relegions were included not "just Christianity". The bottom line is there are many paths to one God. I choose Jesus too but God loves all his children, Jews and Gentiles alike. EVEN RELIGIONS ARE DIVIDING US!!! STOP IT.

    • @gdouglas999
      @gdouglas999 2 года назад +9

Religion IN PARTICULAR is dividing us. I have no issue with any specific religion but since this reactor inappropriately injected a particular religious philosophy into a response about uniting the religions of the world, I feel the need to point out that Christian cities went to war over what to put into the Bible and what to leave out. One faction of Roman emperors and militia-wielding bishops defeated another. I grew up Christian as well, but conservative Christians have not lost their traditional sense of being engaged in warfare against the world.

Dimash foreshadows a world in which "We are all born under the same sky".

The name "Piper" has two similar meanings: The first is a reference to the legend of the "Piper of Hamelin" who had the task of hypnotizing the city's rats and drowning them in the sea. But the flutist, unpaid, hypnotized the entire population of the city and took them to their death! It is, therefore, a seductive message that leads to death! The other meaning tells the true story of a World War II battle where insane Canadian soldier Bill Millin, called "Mad Pipper", played bagpipes at the front, dressed in a "kilt", while his comrades were killed. ! The sound of the harmonica served to muffle the shots and motivate the companions and became a symbol of the "madness of war"!

Just for a moment imagine a Muslim shares his belief with you. Or if Muslim missionaries come to America and establish mosques in your neighbourhood and share their faith with you, or if an atheist shares his/her convictions with you. How would you feel? Considering that they don't force you, just share it. The danger of humans believing in something so thoroughly that their mind is completely blocked in understanding fellow humans of different persuasions. I bet if you were born in Pakistan of Pakistani parents and were brough up in that environment, you would be 100% Muslim. There is no absolute truth, Unfortunately the educational system in United States does not encourage independent thinking, that is why so much prejudice and intolerance exists there. When others encounter a person with non-resilient mind, the reaction is not a pleasant one. You see how religious belief creates rigid personality because each thinks they are right. In so many instances religion and politics are very poisonous to society. It creates friction that leads to WAR. This clip is trying to show that acceptance of others is a great help to overcome the part of human nature that is quite evil. My experience is that religious people are quite arrogant and very difficult to sit down for a calm intellectual discussion. It is because they think they know the truth but others don't. I wish you enlightenment. When U.S. government attacked and destroyed Libya, Iraq, Yugoslavia, Syria, no religious people petitioned the White House to come to its senses and promote peace instead of ruining the lives of so many. What it did is to order the imprisonment of Julian Assange for exposing the crimes of U.S. in Iraq. I hope you petition your government to stop its crimes around the world. It is enough. People don't need to suffer because of power grab of governments. That is all. Dimash is a Muslim but is a wonderful human with great soul. Gandhi once said ; 'your christ was a good man, I wish I could say the same about christians. Something to contemplate upon. One doesn't need preaching, live your life in an exemplary manner and others will notice ir. Preaching is propaganda. Peace to all humankind.

If the video said Muslim reacts I would not only be okay with them talking about their faith I would expect it. Also there is absolute truth in the world. The reason there are wars is not because of religion its because of the sin in our hearts which turns to violence.
I have no hate in my heart towards others. My faith actually even says love your enemies. It also says you will be hated for your faith and also persecuted which has happened not only on here but in real life.
I'll be praying for you and I will continue to seek truth which is found in Christ. God Bless!

I deeply admire Dimash for being as open a person as he is. He's a very strong muslim believer and he often mentions his religion, but not as if he was trying to force it on anyone. I think his beliefs really contribute to making him a better person, a person with strong moral values, and as a non-believer (agnostic) I think this is what all religions are supposed to bring to people. Unfortunately, they're too often twisted, misinterpreted or used by some as a means of controlling and harming others, but seeing that tolerant and non-judgemental people like Dimash exist makes me feel happy and full of hope. He really represents (and tries to promote) a good side of humanity. Protect this human at all costs.

No, he didn’t convert to Christianity. He is very much a Muslim. You saw the cross in the video but not other symbols and signs of other religions including Islam and Buddhism represented in the video . Not to mention an entire segment where he sang in what sounded like the style of ezan (Islamic call to prayer). ….. Frankly, and this is just my opinion, I personally do not like it when people “share” their “truth” when we all know the basics of pretty much all these religions at this day and age. We are not some indigenous people who has never heard of religion. If someone wants to convert, they don’t need your sharing. Anyway, I am an atheist, so I don’t need any religious propaganda or unsolicited “sharing” , and I just wanted to let you kmow that the “sharing” you do at this modern day and age comes across to some people as annoying as being imposed upon. Just letting you know,.

Thank you, Aynur. It's no coincidence that one of the world's most intensely trained Bible scholars, Bart Ehrman, studied the Bible so thoroughly at the most prominent Christian schools and then ultimately became an agnostic as a result of what he learned. I agree that it wasn't really appropriate to proselytize one religious belief while reacting to a masterful message of bringing the world together, regardless of religion.

That “converting” part was so disheartening to hear. I was raised in an extremely devout Christian household and grew up with this same mindset into early adulthood. Long story short, now well into adulthood, I’m somewhere closer to an atheist. If I were to be swayed to any “side” again, though, it would be Islam solely because of Dimash. Because of the subtle ways we know he’s religious (caught in prayer on fancam before a performance, his Mecca IG post, etc). He accepts everyone unconditionally and doesn’t make any effort to sway anyone to “his side”. That, on top of how humble, respectful and good-hearted we all know he is, is so beautiful and attractive. I remember being taught that others should want to “turn to Christ” just from seeing the example of “Him” in our (Christian) lives (sans words). Dimash is the only good example of that I ever recall seeing.
The diversity of the people of our world is beautiful. If only we could all cohabitate peacefully, without attempting to change one another.

About the video, I confess, I didn't like it when that christian man, very similar to JC dies and is buried with sand, as the Romans did with people crucified and placed in the mass grave... and a new savior is born, after the sound of a shofar, as a great light manifests itself on the horizon...
