Thanks mate, going to Azoriaz this weekend and then back to Samoens end of Jan, can't wait. This time we might even have enough snow for a proper jump!!
Snow wasn't that great, had a 1 foot dump 1/2 week, but the ice was solid under foot. Thats why we were sucking so much at that drop, it looked pure powder, but it was like a rock on the landing. Your a lucky man, I would love to move there. I'm really starting to appreciate the French way of life I think they have it figured out better than us Brit's in many ways. Good luck mate
@ruuman - cheers for the info. Freeride is my first love too - steep and deep! Used to hit the kickers alot, but a broken arm in 5 places after a sketchy jump means I've tamed it a bit!
@Gavmatronic hum, well there's not been much of a jump park when I've been there. But I enjoy the off piste stuff really and I always have a great time. The Swiss Wall is awesome fun, there's some good stuff off piste from the highest lift which falls into a natural halfpipe which I love. Be careful if the snow cover isn't great though, most of the big holes have mesh over them, but there are some bloody big ones. For jump parks I love Avoriaz, but I'm not even close to expert :-)
thanks bud, jumps this year were a lot better. checkout the newer vids ;) Yeah dead quiet at that time of year, it's great, the weekends are a little busier as the French aren't working, but it's never been a problem.
Pretty cool video and great soundtrack. As for the jumps, pretty lame but you've got to start somewhere and most of your problem comes from the fact that you have no lip (and no pop) for take off. The on piste bit is great for bringing back memories of just cruising down the mountain. And sorry, but I've no tips for videoing on the move though you did a fairly decent job of capturing most of it. Enjoy Samoens but keep it a secret!

Nice hopefully going to Samoens / Flaine this year. How do you reckon the resort is for expert riders? Enough going on?
hi mate, it's ian brown F.E.A.R, not a big fan of his music, but that track is awesome. take it easy.
