This is surely a rare peek into the private life of one of the giants in the personal development field. I had the pleasure of being given that same tour while visiting his home several years ago. It was a night I'll never forget. Charlie was the best.

Charlie also liked to give away books. Not from his personal collection but many others. Last time I saw him was in 1982 and I had to ask him to stop giving me so many books as I couldn't fit anymore in my car.
A true amazing man. He inspired so many of us. Good Bless him.

Hi Lily, my father entered Heaven in Oct 2008. We donated a huge portion of his books to libraries and other organizations that he loved.

  • @PresidentalMexican

His books are not interesting. Its mostly about war, presidents, schoolbooks, modern books (1950s to 1990s) and no DJ books. Most of his 1800s / 1900s books are in bad condition. What a complete waste of money and time to read books about war.

War is a part of history and reading about the mistakes and triumphs of history teaches us how to have a better future. Just out of curiosity, what type of reading do you not consider a "waste of time"?
