- It's been quite the rollercoaster of a week, but I finally got a decent run.
This run was done without any major glitches/scroll wheel jumping, using the mastery tokens.
100% Definition:
All weapons obtained (including the Unmaykr) and masteries for all mods completed, with 8 weapon points remaining.
All Sentinel Crystal upgrades & suit token upgrades obtained with 15 suit tokens remaining.
All collectible items in the Fortress must be unlocked with 4 batteries remaining.
All codex entries obtained (including Elena Richardson's logs).
Full exploration completed in each level.

Ikr, the new heavy cannon glitch straight up ruined the any% runs, I can understand jumps and out of bounds glitches but you still had cool gameplay in fights...till people discovered the autoscopes

This is easily the best Doom Eternal gameplay at the moment. No one's even close to this guy's level.
There are few people, I've seen that are up there. However this is impressive to say the least.

Zero Master is also very good, but I'd still give the edge to DraQu since Zero's latest/best run isn't 100%, meaning he'd avoid the Slayer Gates. Hard to say though until one attempts a similar run to the other's.

Do remember that the last run was based on the in-game time cuz the timer/splits stoped working but yeah technically it is 30 minutes off the previous run

My favorite is the random chance there for one of the soldiers to immediately turn around and jump back down right after he apparently sees the Slayer.
I know the real explanation is that he's aggro'ing on an imp, but I still laugh every time it happens.

I really enjoy your videos. This is the third one I've watched so far, and still having fun. Your commentary is funny and quite insightful. I also appreciate how your battle strategies are so efficient, and although you make them look easy, I tried to replicate some of them and just wasn't fast enough or accurate enough. Kudos, you are fun to watch.
As someone who uses speedruns as background noise for study, I greatly enjoy hear the Doom Slayer tear through thousands of demons in just 3 hours. Thanks for the vid, and great speedrun, my guy!

@Gamer Shooter the issue is that blood punch rarely registers and you don't actually blood punch and it does the ground slam and almost instant kills you. Apart from this, yeah it's really easy to kill.

What, this has voiceover? First time you talk is 30 minutes in, crazy. I love the weapon switching and the headshots with the sniper mode, as well as the sick sticky bomb shots on the weakspots and imps across the whole arena. Damn those double headshot at 51:00 are sick. I really like the classic shortcuts for the platforming, too. A few of these shortcuts are really funny. I did the one at 55:40 on accident when playing the game for the first time. And the animation cancelling. The super shotgun hook tricks look really sick, too. It's awesome to see these things, because in any% runs, people don't use them.
There are just so many tricks that aply to tons of different games, and that's awesome, how there are some univerals speedrunning techniques.

Except super heavies, once demon is staggered state it only takes one pip.

Those any % runs on Doom are BS, They are all tool assisted now, or straight up use macros. This is before you even consider the fact that they are useing the console to rebind the mouse wheel. Its pretty lame

@@SuperFlawless2010 No, no... I mean, when u take the weapon mod (like sticky bomb or precision bolt) it starts to count towards the mastery even if you didn't upgraded it yet
@@SuperFlawless2010 like... You take the precision bolt mod in Hell on Earth, but if you starts doing head shots, by the time you reach the Doom Hunter Base you're already close to complete the mastery.

I believe DraQu has mentioned how there's no consensus within the community on how to define the 100% category, so very few people are bothering to submit right now. For example, DraQu does Ultra Nightmare 100% w/ Mastery Tokens, while ByteMe does Ultra Nightmare 100% w/out Mastery Tokens.

What I like about your videos most is combat consistency. Other speedrunners do not look like they know what they are doing even when they beat the game in the end, and their combat is somewhat chaotic. Yours is rock solid. Cheers!

Still trying to get thru my first UN run. It seems I'm not the only one that finds Cultist Base to be particularly difficult. You had some close calls, especially in the pit with the Mancubi when that Cueball missed the first Macubus.
