It was really great that they kept the same cleaning ladies throughout much of the series and gave them some lines to say now and then. A nice little bit of continuity that helps make the place seem more complete.

Yes. Mr Grainger was the best senior sales man. I felt they did him dirty in that one episode where he was acting like a child. Really hurt to see his character reduced to that. I like to think of The Clock being his last appearance, regardless of chronological order. He simply retired and lived happily with his wife for many more years. And even came to Grace Brothers from time to time to buy clothing and see old friends. It's also sad Mr Lucas left as well. His replacement, Mr Spooner, was an even more foul mouthed "young" know it all. Except less likable. Nothing to do with the actor I'm sure. Just how his character was written. I was not a real fan of Mr Harman either. Mr Mash was spunky, but generally not outright rude. A shame so many passed or left the show so soon. And now all the original cast is gone.

This show always gets me in a good mood. I often fall asleep and wake up to it. It's almost ancient and as good as it can ever be. It helps understanding english. It helps alot
Odd since English is part of the same language! Lol
Whenever, which is most nights,i just wanna feel peace & comedy i turn these episodes on,also keeping up appearances frasier golden girls kim & kath,& it feels like the world is calmer cozier not in chaos. 23:31 Rumfiled gets called Mr Grace by the girl.
Stu Mack oh wow I heard that
Rumbold *
Good catch! I had to go back and watch it. You're totally right. Back when they tried to get everything in a single take and there were no do-overs. lol
Captain Peacock- We've had a queen before
"There are some minor side effects."
Good lord I lost it.
Rumbold was such a lovable oaf!
All of them were lovable. I love the show and the cast.
The handkerchief trick by the newbie in the men's dept. looks pretty cool! Lunch break for the newbie seems alright too. First day at work is usually really lousy! Orientation by colleagues sometimes can go wrong. - ex- "HR Rep." of a local college.
With reference to Mr. Luca's joke, Prince Charles was 29 in 1978. He must have been a dashing prince then.
He was never what you would call “handsome”, but he was rich and royal, so that’s good enough for most
Thnx for posting these shows. Brings back memories
This show never gets old. Its like getting together with friends. The characters work so well together and the actors too. This has aged quite well. Sorry that they all have passed. Such talents and so much laughter. Thanks for memories 😊
This was and still is a wonderful sitcom. Wish they still were around to get together again, would be 3rd time if only...😔😔😔😔😔😔
Lucas's hair is always ridiculous, but that WIG!
"Commoners, Miss Brahms, but not dead common commoners". 😂😂😂
Usually Ms Brahms would give Captain Peacock a hard time for complimenting her.
