Great video giving advice on a tricky villain to get a handle on.

I love the idea of having Fraz be the party's favorite NPC throughout the campaign only to break all their hearts at the end. I would feel so betrayed, but would still be conflicted to fight him at the end. Great content btw!

Glad I can provide some inspiration! He's easily one of my favorite bosses in D&D.

Love the idea of more Lore based videos. Being relatively new in D&D I'd love to learn more Lore

Thanks, Reese. My campaign was just my players running around punching things In the face and being led down mini dungeons, but this video helped me cement the fact that this dude is THE DUDE my party is gonna fight, it all make sense now. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Great presentation. When it comes to Fraz there definitely needs to be some reveal/tragedy that the players, never in a million years saw coming. I've been running an Abyss themed campaign so that's what drew me here. Anything demon lord related, especially of the lesser known ones and I'm in.

If you want more to create minions and style, look into demonology under the headings "lying spirits", and " tempters and ensnarers"

By far the most underrated demon lord!

Great! Seems I'm on the right way with my campaign. Ticking many of the boxes. Some new good ideas gained too. 👍

I LOVE Fraz but in the campaign that I used him in I didn't flush him out very well, or at least not like you described. But what I am proud of for that campaign was for the climax, using Fraz's mirage arcane, I turned the battle map into an isometric, literal optical illusion that player's had to battle on. Very fun

Agh I should have mentioned Mirage Arcane. I've used that spell for the final encounter as well, though not as creatively as you did! That sounds awesome!

His staff is hidden in an artifacts a book found in Tasha's and must have several demon lords rip part of the book to get to the staff

Hey do you rule zone of truth as truth from the creatures perspective or definitive truth and angels can tell if someone speaks a lie how do you rule that if some amnesiac was in front of a planatar or under zone of truth

Based on the description of the spell, I use the creature's perspective. The phrase that leads me to that specifically:
"On a failed save, a creature can't speak a *deliberate* lie while in the radius."
The way I see it, it isn't a deliberate lie if you honestly believe what you're saying to be the truth!
